Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been collecting Barbie dolls for over 15 years and as a big Ariel fan, I've never seen a review of this doll in particular. I remember she came out in 2004 and I wanted her so bad! When I saw the TV commercial I was blown away and when my dad took me to the mall or so, I remember running so fast to the Barbie Isle to look for her and admire her for hours. She was one of the dolls I wanted the most as a kid and now as an adult, I have one mint in her package and another one I de-boxed myself. I handle her with special care because that "Quick Curl" hair is very fragile and gets very matted if it's not brushed or treated with care. She is one of the most beautiful Ariel dolls that Mattel ever made back in the day when the Disney Princess lineup was at its' highest quality and beauty. What I love about her face is that the head sculpt is very similar to the first one Mattel produced back in 1997 when they first released their version of Ariel after Tyco lost the license to make Little Mermaid dolls. Although this version doesn't look like a teenager, I like that she looks like a sophisticated young woman with glam makeup and is one of the few Mattel made with red full lips and a bigger smile! The color scheme is so beautifully done, the packaging design is marvelous and the attention to detail to every bit of her and the accessories is amazing! The only negative points would be the "Quick Curl" hair that gets damaged very easily and the shape of her fins... The material they used for the fins is gorgeous. The color is very unique and is not like that ugly shade of green that most of the Ariel dolls have nowadays. Wish they did her fins in a different shape to resemble her fins in the animated movie and would be a plus if the fins were padded kind of like the ones Tyco made or even like the ones Simba Toys made for their version of her. Aside from these points, I still think she's so stunning from head to fins!
I loved this video! You should do more unboxing videos like this because it’s so calming! Also the Ariel is so cute omg I love her! Nothing like getting a toy you had as a child it’s so nostalgic!
I’ve been watching this video every night for the past few nights it’s soooo soothing and comforting like I just lay there smiling and I close my eyes and imagine I’m in the coral reef inside a bubble sleeping
this was such a cute video! i love doll asmr videos, and you srsly have one of the most calming/soothing voices i've ever heard - so i double love your asmr doll videos! i really liked the part about basking in the moments of joy for as long as you can. when it comes to doll collectors i watch on youtube, i think you really stand out because its clear how much you really treasure each part of your collection :) i hope you have a great day serena ~ ! ^^

She’s not accurate enough and does not look as cute and bubbly as sje’s supposed to, BUT she is incredibly GORGEOUS in her own way! I really want her in my collection ❤
