I knew her popular songs when she was still alive but really got into her after she was gone too. I traveled an hour and a half to go see her documentary in the theaters because it wasn't playing in my city and I cried in the theater lol it was such a good documentary and really showed her talent and her amazing voice. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. I preordered it the second I got home from seeing it too. I'm glad others really see her talent and how original and unique she really was. She was always looked down on for doing drugs but there's so many people that aren't in the spotlight that have drug problems so it's ridiculous how people had to attack her about it. That lifestyle can't be easy. God I wish she was still here! I'm a bartender and I would always play Amy at work and a friend of mine was asking me about it and he said that he actually met her at a small bar in our little town.. she was opening up for a band. I think it was before "Rehab" even came out she she wasn't really own at the time. I would kill for that experience! He said he didn't really know who she was and then when "Rehab" came out he was telling everyone he met her. I guess she stayed after the show and sat around with everyone and had shots and drinks with everyone. What a cool experience! I'm so jealous lol. Just thought. I would share this info since I thought it was really cool. 😄❤️👍Amy we love you!

I cry with this song - not just for me, but for what Amy went through all her life and nobody really cared, not even her damn father who pushed her to drugs and performing when all she needed was a time-out.
She is missed in Canada too. A talent like hers doesn't come around too often. She will be missed for all time.

My ex-girlfriend, now best friend of twenty plus years now has struggled badly with heroin addiction and depression and came very, very close to dying more times than i'd like to remember. this song is both terrible and beautiful to me. amy had talent and soul and an understanding of pain. i'm glad i just liked her music and didn't know her personally. if i had tried to intervene and failed to help her, i'd be heartbroken. more heartbroken than i am with my friend who will grapple with addiction the rest of her life. you're stardust now, amy. nothing else can hurt you.

I actually have had drug problems as well so I always connected with her on that level as well. Shit gets hard and you feel like that is your only escape. I hold nothing against her at all cause I know how it feels. That woman is just absolutely amazing and will always be my favorite musician. I play her music on repeat all the time and have a few books and posters of her and about her. I'm such a little groupie about it lol. I also wish I had her hair lol it's such a signature style and looks so badass😎gahhh I just love her so much! RIP you beautiful angel! 😇or 😈🔥I would rock out with her in hell any day lol
