Ich bin den Pass auch schon gefahren sehr schön . Ab den 1920 Jahren sind dort Bergrennen ausgetragen worden. Es ist eine historische Rennstrecke aus den anfangstagen des Motorsports.

You want to show someone what Swiss is. Take him on a ride along the Klausenpass and all is shown: Magnificent Mountain ranges , deep vallies and rolling hills. All within a 90 minutes ride.
Despite the pass is under 2000m, it offers great views of the mountains around. You had also great weather, must have been a pleasure to drive there. Enjoyed every km of the drive, thanks for sharing it, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!

Very much a motor road possibly from the early 20th century. In places the original foot, horse, pack animal track can be seen in the valley below in places. The concrete retaining wall is of a specific and 19th century design. often seen in 19th century railway structures. Design would have been for small trucks to get up the hills and round the bends. Possible late 20th century update to widen the road for more modern traffic. Possible military intent (Swiss alpine redoubt)

(hint, not Zelinsky) So, now these are helping me rework my "retirement" trip to a more European focus...assuming the same ass doesn't cuck that up. Freaking pity, I follow a lot of Russians because of the goofy bike I choose to ride, and now, the possibility of riding by and actually seeing them and their beautiful country has been destroyed...sigh...at least no one is dropping missiles and bombs on me...
