Obviously this isnt perfect, to ppl stating the obvious and wanting to focus on the negative, rather than appreciating how far we've come technologically and continue down this path with no slow down in sight. We're gonna be living in a totally different world in the not too distant future. And im excited for whats ahead, for better or for worse, this is reality.

In the future, most of us will have cybernetic implants to compete against and work together with our AI counterparts. We'll have AGI/ASI coworkers who will outperform people on virtually all level and for us to be comparatively relevant, we'll need a neuralink ASI. Plus, we'll all want to hook into the Matrix for work and fun.

Elon has changed humanity for the better. Probably the most influential person of this century. I love that guy, he rescued me from shitty ISP DSL monopoly who I payed for 20 years only for them to let the DSLAM overfill and downgrade my speeds because they refused to upgrade a single thing.
That is coming from someone using Starlink at 300mbs down instead of DSL 3mbs down.
He helped created some of the most efficient rocket engines that have actually been used, launched the largest spaceship into space, created what many thought was impossible with reusable rockets.
Innovated electric car production creating some of the fastest street legal electric cars, also helped push for vision automated driving which is 10x safer per mile already.
Founded openAI and helped move us forward towards the AI that many of us use everyday to increase productivity.
      On and On and On...
Elon haters can't think for themselves, they can only do what the news programs their NPC brains to do, no original thoughts what so ever, only what they are programmed to think.

Neurolink is a brilliant technology and i think it should branch off to at least two different versions. One version should focus on forming this type of control or control of other machines without a surgical implant, something like a headset. And the other version should remain an implant but rather then allowing a paralysed person to control computers it should create a link between their brain and the rest of their bodies so their paralysis could be cured. Sure what i am saying probably will not be available in the near future, but it should be the direction we take. I am pretty sure engineers and scientists in neurolink are already thinking about such things and probably even more.

Though in this case it seems like they are able to repurpose more of the neurons because they don't have to inhibit actual movement. It is exciting though to see it moving more main stream.

Moving the cursor with your eyes, or your mind may be an old tech, BUT, this is a WIRELESS device, where as the older version was NOT. The wire had to be attached to an battery pack, but this device is totally self contained inside his skull with battery attached. Also, it used to take hours and hours for them to attach the probes, and it only had less than 15 probes, but now the surgery is mostly done with a MACHINE totally in an automated mode after the skull is drilled out, and there are much more probes that is attached to the brain itself.

Thank you for sharing. It’s incredible and will give so many a new lease on life… Too bad having this being covered by Health Insurance will be denied as a cosmetic surgery … Ya know breast implants, brain implant so I can have partial control of my life .. Same Same … Denied

I value your content for the awareness and analysis you bring. This is more of a rebroadcast with light reaction which seems less valuable to me as a subscriber.
