Weaving live music with documentary scenes, the film traces the history of the band and explores the unique interpersonal dynamics that make the group so special.

What a great documentary. It's so wonderful to see a group of struggling musicians/artists achieve a high level of success by turning out a high level of pop-art. And they're appreciated in their own time. What's even more refreshing is they recognize the appreciation and are grateful for it. They signify this by enjoying it while it's there, all the while understanding it can be gone tomorrow. Cheers to Grouplove! I love what you've done!

@@alexus6237 I for sure am! Ever since I saw them in a dive bar for $10 after my college radio station received their first EP and I loved it. So I saw them play. Years and years later, that remains one of the only live shows to ever make me literally weep.
Grouplove has changed my life so many times. And after watching this, they changed my life again. I love that about them.

This documentary just reminded me why I love this band with everything I have. I feel so connected to them and their music makes you sing and scream and yell until your throat is hoarse. Grouplove you are incredible and will always be my favorite band!! See you in March!!
I'm balling my eyes out because I'm seeing them live in a month. This band keeps me alive and I've been waiting patiently for YEARS and the day is just around the corner that I am finally going to see them in person.

Grouplove is always played in this house! Listening to their songs always makes me smile. Plus it's super fun to dance to!

I LOVE "I'm with you," "Shark Attack," "Colours," "Tongue Tied," "Ways to Go," ... pretty much half of all their songs. That is really impressive for any artist! All the band members are very talented.
I fell in love with "I'm with you" every time I listen to it makes shed a tear or two. They were in last years FIFA 14 soundtrack. So I started to like the song. Now I have bought several of their songs. I want to go see them perform live here in sunny California, but Hanna is expecting a child. Great music.

I got to meet them at midtown this past weekend and I wish I had watched this before hand! If you ever get a chance to see them.. do it! they give it their all! i cried so hard. i felt ridiculous but i was just so happy. cant wait to see their future success!
ugh i'm so jealous, i was at mm too and i was pretty close for their set and when we evacuated all my friends wanted to leave and change clothes so i ended up missing all but their last 2 songs :( im hoping to see them on tour soon though!

I started loving them from the first song I ever heard from them: "Betty's a Bombshell" and ever since then I have loved all of their songs. What a great band. Thats wild, I knew them for Ways To Go but didn’t realize all these other songs were them, or how prolific they are. All the things you love about Pixies but with dance and electro pop, that’s a bold strategy and they more than pull it off.

Excellent pop group. About everything that you want from a pop group: strong melodies, catchy hooks, and good vocal harmonies. Reminds me a bit of Arcade Fire. Happy. Upbeat.
