Doc Youn my middle nail not finger is amputated due to a motorcycle accident and now my grip strength on my left hand reduced to 50% what should I do? 😥
How on earth surgeons are allowed to do this? Just how and why? All the health issues he is having! The mental struggle... he clearly also admits... and yet people encourage him in destroying his body, health and life!
I’m just surprised there are body modification artists who went through with these procedures. After a certain point, they need to step back and think “am I doing more harm than good for this person?”
The person doing a lot of his procedures is his girlfriend. He had very few modifications done prior to meeting her, mostly just a couple tattoos. Surprisingly enough, this isn't the Black *Alien's* Project. It is HER Black Alien Project.
When professionals refuse, or a procedure is illegal where they live, some people do their own procedures from botox to tongue splitting. Even if I don't understand every kind of body modification or plastic surgery procedure people want, I would much rather see people able to achieve the look they want by going to a trained professional than see them try to do something themselves and the procedure go wrong. Also, there is usually a lot of care in the body modification community. I'd been designing my full bodysuit from a very young age. My first tattoo session was on my 18th birthday and was the start of my backpiece. I began training to be a tattooist at the same time. My tattooist insisted that we work on my bodysuit in a particular order so that all the tattoos would initially be easy to hide with clothing if I needed to, and would look complete if I ended up deciding I didn't want any above my collar bone or below my wrists or ankles. This meant that my Trill spots (based on Dax from Star Trek DS9) were started shortly after I turned 18 but I was in my early 30s before I completed them by doing the feet, neck, and head sections. The result for me was increased confidence. I have gone to more social events and generally interacted with more people since finishing them (which is not always easy because I'm autistic). But I am forever greatful that my tattooist insisted we did my tattoos in the order we did because there is no going back or easily hiding tattoos above the collar bone or below the wrists and ankles. His insistance that I took time getting used to tattoos that I could hide if I wanted or needed to gave me the opportunity to see how tattoos are seen by different people and in different situations. That experience is one I discuss with many clients. Especially when I get people who don't have many/any tattoos who come to me thinking they want something on their face. I never say I won't do it, I just open the discussion for why so many people start with a lot of other tattoos before tattooing their face. There are also some tattoos I refuse to do. Certain very offensive designs I won't do at all. Some other designs I might only agree to do if the design is in an easy to hide place. For example, a friend really wanted an inverted pentagram. I told him I'd do it if he wanted it on his shoulder or somewhere he could show off at gigs but cover at work. He went to a tattooist who would do it on his neck. Every job he has had since getting that tattoo he has had problems covering it for work and it has caused problems when people at work have seen it. But he was in his 30s when he got that tattoo and I would hope that people in their 30s really know what they want to do. I also know that he asked at least 4 tattooists who had the same conversation about if he really wanted it on his neck before he found one who would do it. So I feel like there really is a lot of care in the body modification community. So I don't think any procedures should be illegal. Just all mods should be done by someone who knows how to do them so there are minimal risks, and there should always be those care conversations. So much harm comes from people doing their own mods or botox or whatever procedure they try to do because they can't get a professional to do it. Outlawing any procedure (or making it too expensive when it comes to things like botox - those horror videos always seem to be a warning to avoid random cheap DIY botox) seems to be more of a problem than people achieving the look they want with professionals performing the procedures.
@@Nekrotikk There is a huge difference between administering botox or performing tattoo services, and straight up amputating healthy body parts without a medical license (or amputating healthy body parts when you've taken an oath to "Do No Harm".)
The sad thing is, there are people who have been in accidents or are born deformed that would love to get those body parts back. And he is casually getting them cut off 😢
I was about to to make a similar comment. Many people such as Soldiers,Firefighters, Cancer and Accident Survivors would give anything to have their original faces and bodies again! This is all very sad - he was a decent looking guy before all of these surgeries.
@christinebuckingham8369 I think it's some kind of mental illness. I hope I don't sound judgemental. I'm not perfect either. I have lots of tattoos. I'm not proud of them. They're old and faded, and a large portion of one of my forearms is covered with a botched tattoo that has been partially lazered off. I have to wear long sleeves year 'round, and I live in a very warm humid climate. I've paid tattoo artists to permanently disfigure me. I liked most of them at first, but now, if I could magically erase them all and have a blank canvas I would.
On one hand I'd agree, but then I look back at people telling me things like "don't cut your hair pixie style, cancer patients would give their all for having your hair" or "you're evil for having an abortion, so many infertile women would die for being able to give birth" and I immediately switch into "Good Alien! You go Alien!" >_>
@@PerrySkyePhoenix I'm sorry for you. Sounds like you didn't know what you wanted and regret this. Luckily the tattoo removal is a normal procedure nowaday, and other people are happy with their mods or with switching them up when they change their minds.
I’m into body mods, but this is pretty extreme. Tattoos and piercings is something I started getting when I was 14 (at that time I needed a parents permission, my mom said it was ok as long as I didn’t complain about the pain after, I’m 28 now and never complained about it), but removing perfectly fine limbs and parts of a face just doesn’t seem completely right to me.
@AHD2105 I hope your daughter didn't get tattoos just because you had one..that's ridiculous. I think you're placing far too much weight on your tattoo's impact on your kid 😂
i am like terrified looking at him. like who would want to be with him? imagine waking up in the middle of the night to pee, and this thing standing there with his eyes staring down at you. i will probably faint before even hearing 'hey babe, its me', hit my head on the furniture and go to heaven.
I very much appreciate you talking about this person with such respect and sensitivity - there is always a real living breathing person behind what others might see just as an entertainment. I also love you analysing the medical and health implications of the procedures. Thank you! x
@@Xes_Lana I never stated otherwise. All I'm saying is that if anyone judges the guy negatively, for him doing whatever he wants with his own body, they are a moron.
I can't believe he did this to himself. He was a nice looking man and completely disfigured himself. What's worse is he could have become blind, have breathing problems and other health issues. I know it's his body, but he could suffer terrible health problems from doing this. Honestly I feel he must have mental health issues. I just don't understand why someone would disfigure themselves, on purpose.
Just some trivia: He'll def. lose the now exposed teeth sooner than his other ones because lacking a piece of the lip causes gum recession in that area and impairs tooth remineralization due to the dryness.
You acknowledge that it’s “his body”, but then in the next sentence say he must have mental health issues. You can’t have it both ways. At the end of the day, respect that it is his body to do with as he pleases whether or not it’s harmful to his health….his body remember? As far as the mental health issues are concerned, that’s just disrespectful on your part. As long as he harms no one, it’s really no one’s business what drives him to modify his body. It’s not for any of us to judge another person for the way they look.
@@72bslade Regardless of one's personal stance on the matter, the social and legal consensus in most developed countries is the same as with euthanasia, and a majority of doctors currently tends toward the hippocratic oath of "not doing harm" and 'preserving health and life' taking priority. Maybe this will change in the future, we'll see.
I appreciate your largely unbiased presentation of these body mods. It is easy for these reaction videos to have extreme bias, especially with such polarizing figures.
This is certainly one of those things where you wonder what it will be like when this man is alone in his room looking at himself 10 years from now. I cant imagine what it would be like to have a sudden realization of regret after having unrecognizably and permanently done this. I think there is a difference between body modification and completely trying to remove any sense of humanity in your self. I know there is nothing anyone else can do, but the final pictures with pieces of his face missing where he says "next step in evolution" makes it seem very much like mental illness over just art but its hard to say.
Not just 10 years, I think about when he is 60, 70 etc. Did he ever want a family, grandchildren? Not the look you would have as a father, you would scare your own children. At some point in time the fame and fascination will fade away and he is going to be one ugly, lonely, old man.
@@cq608I think that children would have no issue because that will be what they see from birth. The problems will be socialising that child because they will be judged by the looks of their father and he will have few or no friends because of it. Imagine going to a school play or prom night!
I was amazed by this guy's transformation when I first heard of him maybe 3 years ago. He was not even looking to be that popular because back then I searched him and he didn't have many posts or followers on Instagram. He is such a humble guy, he even lived in Mexico. I was surprised that he speaks perfect Spanish event though he's french.
He has body dysmorphia and needs help. How can a human being go so far as to dying their sclera (which looks scary and there's a high risk of blindness or something going wrong), getting rid of their upper lip, nose cartilage to wanting to lose fingers, and have metal instead of their skin. Nice person or not this man needs therapy. Doctor I love how nice you are and not judging him but this person and many like him are harming themselves. They have a messed up perception of their bodies.
Dismorphia same as being demonically possessed .. sad ppl actually gives possession titles like dismorphia , and or whatever it is drs name them !!! ITS SO CLEAR WHAT THIS IS 😈😈😈😊😊
He may have a messed up perception of his body according to you and pretty much everyone, but who are you to tell him that his perception of his body is wrong and that he should undergo therapy? He is happy like that, he doesn't hurt anyone except himself (and he is okay with it). Sadomasochists also harm themselves, but take pleasure in doing it, should they undergo therapy also?
@@ZombiieUnicorn that's cz we care about people. If somebody is ruining themselves why not give them advice or help them out?? You have admitted that he has messed up perceptions yet say that something is wrong with us or it's none of our business to call it out. This person like many probably didnt have someone to tell him to stop maybe because people thought like you did.
@@ZombiieUnicornAs long as he doesn’t complain about not being able to get a job, girlfriend, acquire a loan, I’m fine with his choices, but will not go out of my way to accommodate his obsession.
I’m gonna have to disagree on this one. It should not be legal for a doctor or whoever else to assist in self harm and mutilation. This isn’t the same thing as getting breast reduction or Botox. He’s having body parts with critical functions health wise completely removed. The only reason someone would do that just for aesthetic, is mental illness, which is something that should not be promoted or legal to exploit. I mean the guy wants to replace his actual skin. He needs psychiatric help. This isn’t self expression this is self harm.
i'd argue that it's both. :/ (though also shuddering over the extreme he's going to. amputations and stuff.) he did say at least one of the things wasn't legal in his country.)
@@gorgo4910 Why do you care about the genitals of strangers, and yet you don't actually care enough to read about what goes into the procedure? Almost like it was never genuine concern at all...
This is an outdated look at Anthony he HAS had two fingers on one hand removed. He’s also had some implants around his face and head that his body rejected which he had to remove.
It looks like the video that you’re watching is a little bit of an older video, the black alien project actually says that he’s about 60% done with his transformation. He also has already gotten two of his fingers. I believe on both hands removed. Thank you for being open minded and only really caring about body mods if they actually affect the health of the person, not just making other people feel uncomfortable.
@@ashdragon4000 He said in a podcast in "the wild project", which was 2 months ago, that he is not going to do it. It is something he likes, but he is not going to do it.
As a person who studied humanity i mean a little, you never usually need to worry about people who look scary. And people that are truly dangerous are some of the most respectful nice people out there All you have to do is be a respectful person and don't rip them off and your good. People trying to be scary are scared themselves. Louder they are the more insecure.
Youn has to call this out. Not this weak 'well, it's his body crap'. If your sister was a drug addict, you wouldn't say 'well, it's her body'. No, you would put her in a clinic/help her/take the drgs away.
I saw him once at night on a dark street in Barcelona. I got literally freaked out. I thought he was a victim of fire or explosion. Later on found him on Instagram advertising his works as a tattoo master in Spain…
I'm not really convinced that the whole relativistic stance of "as long as you're happy, it's okay" is really appropriate here. It seems like this is an example where a clear line and boundary needs to drawn. This person will never be able to reverse many of these procedures. It would be interesting to know how extreme body mod people feel in old age.
Maybe not any different. Some things do not get better with age. The current generation is so obsessed with "self" that someone who doesn't have some sort of body modification will be the odd one out. The only thing I ever did was have my ears pierced.
i don’t think he’ll regret it, but i do think what he’s doing (permanent black face, disabling, and mutilating his body) is in extreme poor taste and he has body dysmorphia. we gotta bring bullying back
@@zoeyfalconer85right, bc bullying “helps” people. 🙄 I REALLY hope you weren’t serious. Why would you bully someone for the way they look? He can’t change what he’s done; what would be the point of bullying or insulting him now? In fact, bullying might have the opposite effect, as it did for me. I was bullied horrifically in middle school bc I wasn’t blonde, skinny, and good at sports (at least regular school sports. I AM an expert in several equestrian sports). I was a little overweight, had dark hair which was started becoming curly when I hit puberty, so the short hair cut I got at age 12 looked horrible as it grew out (I have GORGEOUS long curly hair now, whereas those blonde b*tches have to use curling irons and crap to achieve the look). Point being, I got to a point where I decided that I would go out of my way to dress and look as different and shocking as possible. Never did any extreme body mods, but I got a lot of piercings, which I think are beautiful. Also dyed streaks of unnatural color like burgundy into my hair BEFORE piercings and colored hair were a leftist thing. My point is that bullying may make this guy double down on looking as strange/different as possible.
It's gotten more insane, he's done the hands and now is planning to try and have his perfectly functioning legs removed and replaced with metal prosthetics! 🤯 (As someone who has a lot of tattoowork and plans to have more, I'm all for body mods, but they shouldn't hindrance and in some case s risk your life! I also understand body dysmorphia all to well and the risks he's taking and willingness to live with the unfortunate consequences for the fleeting joy, and it is fleeting, which is why he is continuing he must have something new relatively quickly, i bet he actually likes the anticipation of the surgery more than finally achieving it; in my opinion this isn't a project as they come to an end, it's more of a neverending journey. Also tbh, of his thousands, if not millions of 'fans', i wonder how many genuinely care about him... Because it's giving very Eugenia Cooney 'fans' and the old guy's, who just used to sit and smoke for his followers, even when he was literally on his deathbed! Lesson number one, some humans fetishise some of the most disturbing and heartbreaking things)
that's true, some people just want to watch the car crash... :( yes he exhibits the behavior patterns of people addicted to plastic surgery. it's never enough and they are always thinking about the next and the next... i knew he was planning something with the legs/feet but..... damn. if he takes them off he's going to loose a large part of his canvas. i guess prosthetics would bring him closer to the metal idea, if he gets blades. i think that's the term. the ones runners use.
@@lurklingXabsolutely, I just can't believe there's people who will do this not only for him, but to him, however he's known to go to back alley surgeons as thankfully most qualified doctors refuse him, but he's playing one dangerous game, those people don't care if you live or die, they have your money regardless and believe me so many get away with, in my opinion, murder, because most are connected to larger gangs and nefarious people, however he clearly doesn't care at this point... I'm not going to lie I also can't help but feel a bit of disgust with him wanting to remove his legs for prosthetics, I just think about the countless individuals who'd do anything for his functioning legs, which they have lost through trauma, disease or condition, etc, yet he's so willing to just get rid as if he's getting a haircut... It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I do understand that he's very much ill and to some degree whether he's conscious of it or not suffering as being addicted to something is painful, maybe not always physically but certainly mentally and emotionally.
Thank you for being so open minded and mentioning that most of the people who are into body modification, are very sweet and caring people! It's such a huge misconception that these people are scary, horrible, mean criminals. I know a LOT of body-modified people (from a single tattoo to more extreme like tattooed eyeballs and split tongues) and they are truly all so kind, welcoming, open, warm and non-judgmental! Thank you for mentioning that ☺️
I’m more than happy to let people have fun with body mods or tattoos. It’s just when it gets extreme like this that I start to worry about their health.
I'm honestly surprised his implants are still intact, from personal witnessing, as this was a trend my teen years- all of my friends had to get them removed within 2 years, mainly from body rejection, but also some other complications over time. (One friend got his hand snagged and it tore the implant under the skin, it was gross)
I love the, "I'm never gonna regret this," famous last words of every young person 😂😂😂. I think it's more realistic and mature to admit you may regret something, but you don't care right now and will cross that bridge if you come to it.
My biggest question would be what is his higher self (soul?) trying to express by doing this. It looks like a reaction to pain or trauma but only they can know for sure.
My old injuries and scars hurt so much more now that I’m older and also living with arthritis and neurological disease. I can’t imagine this man has a fully-informed understanding of what he will likely be in for.
Yes. He already got rid of two fingers and says he’ll get the other hand matching. Looks like pinky and ring fingers are gone on his left hand. Then his next big project is finding someone who will remove his LEGS - and replace with bionic ones… The skin with metal replacement was new to me, but I’m not surprised. He’s currently getting a lot of scarification on his face it looks like (ig pics). He also says it’s hard to get a job. This is where I say “duh” and know that means the government where he lives will eventually start paying his monthly expenses due to “modifications” of his own doing that’s left him incapable of doing certain things. 🙄😡
@@eliciayeopretty sure the majority of clients will find it pretty near impossible to sit in close proximity to him for extended periods of time. Plus since tattoos are permanent, some would feel insecure about whether he’d go to far and do something to them without permission to suit his own aesthetics.
@@ezura4760 More than that, artists of all kinds are usually very protective of their hands. How well can he tattoo with both hands missing fingers? I wouldn't want to get a tattoo from someone whose grip looks that unstable.
Answering your question at 7:50, which finger would I choose to lose? I know from people who've done it that the pointer is actually easiest to adapt to not having, so pointer on my non-dominant hand. (Edit: Index, yes) The video you're reacting to is a few years old now. He did go ahead with the finger amputation, he's done a lot more to his face, and he's trying to find someone to mess with his feet.
Everybody has a sleeve or sleeves now so it's getting to be old hat. This guy is over the top and doing something that NO ONE has done. Ear piercings, sleeves, piercings in your face bellybutton, etc...everyone has one now and it's boring. I'm sure cavemen had tattoos, the Egyptians did and that was one heck of a long time ago so we've done nothing new.
@@CordeliaWagner different things for different people. Tattooing has been a part of nearly every culture for centuries. So has some level of scarification and minor body mutilation. Body horror mutilation was once something that was reserved for scaring children in cautionary oral cultures, fairy tales, and later in the works of authors trying to deal with their inner demons.
I was done when he said he had his ears removed. Like…… who DOES that? 15 years down the line, when he’s old and alone and his body cannot function properly anymore. Messed up hearing, skin disease, eyesight deteriorating etc…. He’ll look back and wonder what has he done with himself.
If he did one of those crazy deep chemical peels that lifts all the top layers of skin and takes like a month to heal, would his skin come out the natural color?
I would be interested to know if he becomes ill how easy would it be to treat him? So many things doctors look to aren't possible with him. I wouldn't want to be in A&E at 3am when he comes in with a problem!
The person who invented it warms against it very strongly. Eye tests that identify tumours, damage etc. and identifying things like jaundice are very difficult. This can delay treatment and identification.
because they have to. its part of their oath as health professionals; if it bothers you that theyd have to treat things he caused himself, then no more healthcare for smokers, drinkers, obese people, and any other thing one might cause themselves.
i had a teacher in elementary school with 3 fingers on his dominant hand due to a fireworks accident, his middle and ringfinger were "fused" together and he still had his pinkie, he was one of the best teachers.. it was really an incredible story that also taught kids to not be stupid xD but to remove ur fingers by choice? cmon man, im gonna have nightmares
I watch Luxeria and Roly on YT - they've both discussed BAP numerous times. Neither of them are fully supportive of the changes he's made, stopping at when he had his ears fully removed, much less his nose, lips, and fingers. I genuinely think BAP has some type of body dysmorphia. Not only does he want to remove his skin to replace it with metal, he also wants to amputate both his legs and replace them with bionic ones. In Luxeria's words "what's he talking about?! We don't have that technology!" If that wasn't enough, another ick factor is that his girlfriend/fiance/wife/idk (pretty sure she does his tattoos & piercings) has said that she wants to make him her masterpiece. This is including the body part removal. The full quote from her just really *really* does not sit right with me at all. It kinda implies that she's the main force behind him getting all this done.
He really seems a nice guy from a video I saw with him. So isn't that strange that he has a girlfriend. Though the girlfriend saying that she wants to make of him her work of art, that's a red flag
I really like Mr. Youn's content a whole lot, and I like him plenty too, but I can't ever agree to hearing anyone, especially doctors, comfort "my body my choice" mindset. Relativism has always been a bad thing that caused issues where there were none, and in this case such extreme mutilation of a human body is a clear sign that the person needs help, no matter what modern "standards" agree on being a disorder or else.
Imagine if the aliens came to meet us and they looked just like us and then they see this guy. 😂 Also.... where does all the money to do this come from? I cant even afford a boob job!
This is tragic. This man hates himself and hates humanity. Something very horrible had to have happened to him. It breaks my heart that as a society, you can pay enough money to get absolutely anything done to yourself or someone else.
My partner had a lot of body modifications done over the 15 years we were together. And quite frankly I didn't approve of a few ones but even though he did all that I still loved him and I still do even though we are no longer together
If anyone's interested, the tiny bit of animation with a knife in a person's mouth is from Teeth, an excellent short horror found on a likewise excellent channel called ALTER (its sci-fi counterpart is awesome, too!).
You are free to mess up yourself with this. But do not EVER complain about what people then think of you. Like even just the argument about face tattoos. If you want that, how about you just get "I make bad choices" tattooed on your forehead and be done with it. Cos that's exactly the signal you send and why you will have a problem at job interviews.
@@u4riahsc I've worked at jobs where if you had face piercings or tattoos that couldn't be covered up, you couldn't advance because those were positions that often met with the clients which when dealing with the overseas ones, there was a cultural thing against tattoos or face piercings.
@@chinchepunta but there is no better reason than to judge people on their actions and choices. Which their body mods are. Their choices and actions. This idiot cut his ears off!! Compromising his bloody hearing. That says A LOT about him. It's one thing to look like a monster cos you're an innocent burn victim, but doing such things to yourself on purpose? Cutting your nose and ears off? Ruined his upper lip so speech is difficult. Cut a hole in his lower lip so drool will keep coming out. I could NEVER trust someone like that with any meaningful decision.
If he could replace his skin with metal, he would overheat in summer, and freeze in winter. But before all that, he would suffocate because we breathe through our skin.
There's a chance that this guy got his eyeball tattoos done by a doctor. He has admitted that some of his more extreme tattoos with done in Mexico, however he moved from France to Australia at some point... and in Australia and New Zealand you can only get that particular procedure done by a medical professional. Unfortunately I haven't found any articles that mention where he got the eye ball tattoos done.
I love how you don’t judge these people. I’m not into body modification (I just have tattoos) and I’m not someone who judges as it’s the personality that matters.
Me looking at all these videos of people destroying themselves with weird plastic surgery procedures and all I've ever wanted to be happy with myself is to fix my teeth from a genetic disorder I inherited. Where do they find the money to mess themselves up like that?? I can't even afford the 6K in teeth implants I need to fill in missing teeth.
I feel you... my teeth are stained from antibiotics I had to take when I was a child. It's really affected my self esteem over the years, but I've learned to live with it. I'll never get laminate veneers.
@@PerrySkyePhoenix I have two veneers my parents got me when I was in highschool but they're 16 years old now and due for replacement unfortunately I don't have $2,000 to replace them
Having a short pinky finger I can tell you that it does affect the way you hold things like hammers and mallets…. While fixing some paving at home and using a mallet it caused my other fingers to take all the pressure causing joint issues…. So yeah your pinky is important.
People like him that are so extreme really can't be helped and they don't want to be helped. I do believe that they go into things like this knowing they won't live long lives. Their goal is not for a long life, but to enjoy as much as they can the current one they have! Just my opinion.
You know, the biggest issue for me isn’t so much how he looks but the fact that what he did is permanent. He could’ve achieved the same result with makeup. The thing is the guy did try to find a job but couldn’t due to the way he looked.
I think this is based on an old vid. I believe he has done his hands. He also is super nice, according to a vid I saw about him on Vice. He seems like a seriously sweet guy. It's weird but I think no matter how we are, how good looking we might be, people now always seem to hate at least something about themselves physically. Like you look at Black Alien before he aliened, and that dude was smoking hot, so... like... why? What didn't he like about himself that he felt his true self was black alien? Like in some ways, I totally get it. I have lipedema, and I've had two uncomfortable surgeries to get fat off of me (lipedema is when your fat grows no matter what you do and is quite painful- for those who don't know) I've had people ask me why I am waiting for surgery #3 when recovery is hard and comes with scars, but for me, it's like someone is chipping me out of this fat suit that just keeps growing. My brachioplasty was really hard recovering from, and knowing I will have to do that again from ankle to groin is a pretty big mountain to prepare for. So yeah, I understand the feeling that you don't feel right in the body you have. At the same time, as I said, that man was gorgeous.... so what didn't he like about how he was? I guess I just find it hard when he looked so good, what still wasn't good enough in his mind?
You see, for me he was exactly the kind of dude I am not looking for in his before pictures, I like him better now. Not saying that his current look is what's perfect for me either, butif I have to choose I like the alien look more than a tan gym bro ;) Although what some people pointed out, these "working out too much" chads often have some depression/body dysmorphia, and he might do less if he's worked intensively with a therapist, but if he's being rather sensible about these (e.g. while he did remove several fingers he decided to not seek leg amputation cause it's too impairing and not worth it, even though he'd like to, and he's had few complications which means he's careful about who he's going to and caring for his body) and it fits his lifestyle (working in a tattoo shop, having a partner who like him as he is) then... Why not? I find it really hypocritical (not of you, of the humans in general) that it's much more accepted to bleach chemically or tan in UV your skin than tattoo it black with FDA approved paints, add hair extensions often with extensions sourced in inhumane, oppressive ways than shave own hair off (on the head, of course, while all the rest of the body should be hairless instead of having natural hair), putting huge implants in boobs, nose or butt more than a 3-4cm shape in your arm or scalp and so on... The hive mind was quite useful when we were still endangered by tigers or mammooths, now humans are the biggest cause of suffering for other humans. Not my favorite species by far.
I love tattoos and piercings as much as the next person. My sister owns the only piercing place in all of Berkshire County. The one that really gets me is the eye tattooing. I don't like stuff near my eyes. It's icky! However, my worry for this man isn't for now, it's for his future. We all know that as we get older, stuff starts to not work so well sometimes. I'm concerned for his future complications. I'm not hating, just concerned that he's shortening the functional part of his life. Kudos to those who can actually do all this to themselves and just bust through the discomfort. I'm happy with my couple of piercings, but I would like more tattoos. I only have my 1st son's name on me. I gotta get my youngest on me, otherwise how will I know who he is when I'm old and senile, lol? There are so many I want, and not enough money or time. It will be nice when I can get them though. I wish this young man all the happiness and health he can handle, and I can't wait to see what he does next. I really don't want him to take part of his hand, but if he's happy, I guess I'll just watch and cringe. One question though. If this dude ever has kids, how scared of him do you think they'll be at first? We are programmed to bond with our parents, and some of that comes from how we look. I have no idea how he'll bond with any kids he has until they are old enough to get it. I'd be terrified if I were a baby and I saw this guy holding me, just sayin'.
“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It's not the time that matters, it's the person.” When my grandma went completely senile the person she could remember last, when she cried in fear of all of us grandchildren, nieces and neightbors, was her beloved youngest son, so I guess you don't have to worry. Also the kids would love him, and it would be just the opposite - they could start not liking him when they are older, hang out outside of the house more where outsiders feed them vicious ideas like "your dad is wrong" and "you should be afraid of him". Same as autistic kids who have a loving caring family and a friendly and accomodating school are not having the low self esteem, anxiety, depression, huge sense of "otherness" or "disability" and PTSD that undiagnosed or bullied kids have. #science

I’m just surprised there are body modification artists who went through with these procedures. After a certain point, they need to step back and think “am I doing more harm than good for this person?”
Exactly. And also, is going this far simple interest in body modification, or does this guy have mental health issues…..
The person doing a lot of his procedures is his girlfriend. He had very few modifications done prior to meeting her, mostly just a couple tattoos. Surprisingly enough, this isn't the Black *Alien's* Project. It is HER Black Alien Project.
@@numblina really!? wtf!

I know it's his body, but he could suffer terrible health problems from doing this. Honestly I feel he must have mental health issues. I just don't understand why someone would disfigure themselves, on purpose.
Mental health
Clearly he has mental health issues. Or maybe less critically, this doesn't look like a good way to help himself.

Sad thing is tattoo artists always forget to incorporate the blurring over time , for example fine text that becomes unreadable after 15 years.
Get artificial ones
Why would they waste time helping him?
because they have to. its part of their oath as health professionals; if it bothers you that theyd have to treat things he caused himself, then no more healthcare for smokers, drinkers, obese people, and any other thing one might cause themselves.
i had a teacher in elementary school with 3 fingers on his dominant hand due to a fireworks accident, his middle and ringfinger were "fused" together and he still had his pinkie, he was one of the best teachers.. it was really an incredible story that also taught kids to not be stupid xD but to remove ur fingers by choice? cmon man, im gonna have nightmares
I cant imagine not having my pp! That would be awful!!!!!!
We don't have that technology!"
If that wasn't enough, another ick factor is that his girlfriend/fiance/wife/idk (pretty sure she does his tattoos & piercings) has said that she wants to make him her masterpiece. This is including the body part removal. The full quote from her just really *really* does not sit right with me at all. It kinda implies that she's the main force behind him getting all this done.
He has a *girlfriend* ? 🤦🏾
He was so handsome. Good grief.
Ah, now I know why they do these things to themselves. It gives doctors fascinating cases to explore. Great job doc! It was interesting to watch. 🙏👍❤
I feel sorry for his mother!
Sad thing nothing could stop this man for doing this madness
Imagine if the aliens came to meet us and they looked just like us and then they see this guy. 😂
Also.... where does all the money to do this come from? I cant even afford a boob job!
😂😂😂
Btw I was thinking the same.
@6:24 THAT guy would look beautiful with snowy, silvery white hair! Those eyes of his are _gorgeous!_
This is tragic. This man hates himself and hates humanity. Something very horrible had to have happened to him. It breaks my heart that as a society, you can pay enough money to get absolutely anything done to yourself or someone else.
I have bad rheumatoid arthritis and can only use 2 fingers on my right hand. I really value them❤ the "easiest" finger to miss is your pinkie👍
I really feel sorry for people who don't love their bodies.
I'll bet his parents are so proud!
I wear glasses. If I amputate my ears, I’d be blind. 😂
WOW OHHH IT TOOK ME MINUTES TO REALIZE WHAT YOU MEANT.....
unless you can use contact lenses :0
@@shoes7899 it was a joke.
My partner had a lot of body modifications done over the 15 years we were together. And quite frankly I didn't approve of a few ones but even though he did all that I still loved him and I still do even though we are no longer together
Its his choice, but it just makes me want to cry seeing what he's done
Doctor Youn kills me with his facial expressions 😂😂😂
If anyone's interested, the tiny bit of animation with a knife in a person's mouth is from Teeth, an excellent short horror found on a likewise excellent channel called ALTER (its sci-fi counterpart is awesome, too!).
I'm so glad you mentioned Ryan Gosling! So many people wax lyrical about how handsome he is and I just don't see it.
Kinda hard to get a decent job looking like a freak/alien.
The doctors or whoever did this should be in jail.
@@jenat82, well said!
Imagine going home at night and seeing this guy
If he could replace his skin with metal, he would overheat in summer, and freeze in winter. But before all that, he would suffocate because we breathe through our skin.
wwait were amphibians!
Mental health is important.
He was so handsome before he did this to himself.
I didn't know tattoos are considered body modifications.
We all judge as human
A psychiatrist would have a field day with this guy!
Why are you talking about this without bringing a psychologist on?
Terrifying, sad and sick all at the same time 😞
Me looking at all these videos of people destroying themselves with weird plastic surgery procedures and all I've ever wanted to be happy with myself is to fix my teeth from a genetic disorder I inherited.
Agree. They don't imagine life as a parent or grandparent because they don't expect to live that long. Now is all that matters.
It's really very sad!@@daydreamerz
You know, the biggest issue for me isn’t so much how he looks but the fact that what he did is permanent. He could’ve achieved the same result with makeup. The thing is the guy did try to find a job but couldn’t due to the way he looked.
This is why i believe in therapy before mods this extreme. Getting rid of body parts is a mental illness
.... And if they did, they should lose their licence. "lol lol 😂😂😂 how spectacularly true!! 😂😅
Not saying that his current look is what's perfect for me either, butif I have to choose I like the alien look more than a tan gym bro ;)
Although what some people pointed out, these "working out too much" chads often have some depression/body dysmorphia, and he might do less if he's worked intensively with a therapist, but if he's being rather sensible about these (e.g. while he did remove several fingers he decided to not seek leg amputation cause it's too impairing and not worth it, even though he'd like to, and he's had few complications which means he's careful about who he's going to and caring for his body) and it fits his lifestyle (working in a tattoo shop, having a partner who like him as he is) then...
Why did you do Ryan gosling like that 😭😭 he’s actually really attractive
THATS WHAT IM SAYING
Oof, imagine when he sneezes or has a cold… It’s terrifying how addicted to attention some people are.
That poor man. Can’t imagine being so mentally disturbed.
Personally I hope he doesn't have any children. That would be a real tragedy for a child.
“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It's not the time that matters, it's the person.”
When my grandma went completely senile the person she could remember last, when she cried in fear of all of us grandchildren, nieces and neightbors, was her beloved youngest son, so I guess you don't have to worry.
#science
The way you feel about him, some other people feel about people with "normal" tattoos and piercings
@@niculaelaurentiu1201 Hey, if a person is old enough, I have no problem with them doing what they please. I'm glad we live in a place where we can freely express ourselves. The only ones I feel bad for are the ones who get bad tattoos.
This is why aliens avoid us.
It upsets me that people have done this to him. He needs psychological help.
He looks really cool to me, bro chose all the customizing options
Does it ever occur to him how he’s going to look the older he gets? This is insanity!
I am sorry for him mother..
Why would people even be able to mutilate themselves like this
He will probably look more like an alien as he gets older.
He was such a handsome young man! But if it makes him happy, you do you, Dude. No denying you've got a unique look.
Any doctor or surgeon, who is involved in this mindsick activity should be lost their permission for lifetime and should sit in jail.
Really great to the point content bro. Keep it up.
