This spring sees the long awaited release of 'Sing2Me' by Germany's Thomas Gold through Axtone records - the 25th release in the label's seven year history.
A highlight of Gold's sets for the last twelve months, the record has subsequently gained support from no less than Axwell / Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto & Calvin Harris. Tipped by the much coveted DMC Buzz Chart in it's Miami edition, 'Sing2Me' has been covered by leading EDM blogs Dancing Astronaut & Beat My Day whilst MTV featured the record in Miami 2011!
The last 12 months has seen Thomas' star rise high as DJ, producer & remixer. His remixes last year included reworks for two of the planet's biggest female vocalists in Lady Gaga 'Judas' & Adele 'Set Fire To The Rain' with the latter approaching almost 13 million plays on RUclips to date. Thomas has recently turned his hand to Miike Snow's 'The Wave' which is scheduled for release post Miami Music Conference.
His recent releases with Dirty South & Kate Elsworth in 'Alive' & 'Eyes Wide Open' have both been smashes on Beatport further cementing Thomas' place amongst the EDM elite. 'Sing2Me' isn't Thomas' first appearance on Axtone and it certainly won't be the last. He remixed 'Blow Up' with Axwell last year and is working towards his Axtone Presents Compilation, set for release this summer.

I was going crazy trying to find the name of this song, i heard tons of remixes of it in the clubs...i cant express how much i LOVE IT!!!!
I originally wrote a bunch of shit that displays how simple and instinctual it is to write something like this to anyone that's new to metal (as I lay dying, haste the day, etc). As a traditional metal listener, there's times when listening to an edm song that really seems elementary level with layering different melody lines. Although, there's probably an equivalent amount of times where edm totally writes a melodic masterpiece that metal writers would usually limit themselves from (like I used to). This is actually one of those A-typical metalcore songs, but I don't discredit this song (trance, house?) or any other edm song because it. I'm actually not really preaching for either style, I'm mostly just sayin.
