I saw in a documentary recently, about the food industry, Walmart representatives & executives going to places that were vegan friendly, "keto grass-fed" friendly, and also more Organic places for food sourcing. They spoke on the documentary saying it was not a hard choice to supply more of these products, because there is clearly a large demand for such products. Then they said that customers are essentially "voting" on what they want most at the checkout. Because the scanned/bought items show walmart what people want most!
Yes not all Wal-Mart's carry some of these products but I keep my eye out.
I dont go to whole foods unless I cant find a product anywhere else.. even them itll depend on the price usually I. Wn find it at Amazon

my Walmart carries follow your heart brand cheese, daiya brand cheese & field roast chao shreds! I am amazed at how much the vegan section has grown and I can’t wait for future items to be introduced!

The new Daiya pizza’s are SO good. I did not like their past cheese at all. Thankfully I found them for my 6 year old so he can take it for school lunch and not be sad when his classmates eat dairy pizza in front of him. This is the first vegan pizza he has approved.

We made ‘plants in a blanket’ with those Fieldroast Frankfurters. We wrapped them up with Daiya slices and croissant rolls. Definitely recommend.

funny thing about those bac n pieces omg- i- i'm so embarassed....when i was a kid my family loved them for some reason and we weren't vegan we just always had them in the fridge so one day i started sprinkling the bacon bits on my peanut butter sandwich and it was such a game changer i LOVED IT IDK WHY AHHAH. i remember i started to put bacon bits on my pb sandwiches everyday for lunch after that and that went on for a WHILE. my dad had no problem with it but my mom was so grossed out with the sweet/salty vibe. suddenly i wanna have a pb and bacon bit sandwich again :( but i do agree with andrew, they taste nothing like bacon it's just fake smoke and a ton of sodium 😂
Field roast has the BEST sausages. The Apple one is great on vegan pizza.

cado is the BEST!! it's so creamy and doesn't have a strong avocado taste at all, i love their dark chocolate flavor.
New sub here I am a two year vegan in Louisiana. Thank you two for sharing this. Walmart is basically the only affordable option and the only option here when it comes to a lot of products. I go shopping for myself only once every two months yet for lack of bravery and getting out as fast as possible I don't go exploring in the meat or dairy sections very cool to hear they are getting vegan options there like bean burgers and pizza that will be a treat to try sometime. I will look for that bread next time I had already given up the hunt for how many had whey, dairy, or some ingredient I didn't want yet at the same time looking for bread recipes is what brought me to your channel so it all works out :)

Sorry about being in Louisiana. Every time I visit my family (who lives in cenla area) and I also rush in and out. The nearest store is a Walmart and this video definitely is helpful!

I'm excited for the taste test video! I worked at a Natural Food Store 12 years ago and we had Enjoy Life cookies in a few flavors. So they've been around for a while. I always loved the snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies.

Kroger has their store brand of chocolates chip cookie mix and brownie mix that are awesome! They also have store brand “cheese dip” compares to wayfare
If you miss bacon try LightLife Smart Bacon which is amazing.
We've had it. It's just ok, it's pretty chewy lol
You have to cook it until it crisps up. Those bacon bits have unhealthy gmo ingredients

I’ve tried the morning star corn dogs and they are great 👍🏻 repeat purchase! Same with breakfast bowls!!! It’s interesting that wal marts in different areas have different items. I looked for the dairy free great value baking chips and could not find at my wal mart. Love all your videos of grocery hauls !!! 😀

We have been vegan for over 8 yrs now. We have gluten allergy (hubs) and MSG neurotoxin response (me). We can find Gluten free or we can find vegan when traveling but the amount of options that are both were super limited. Our last trip stateside was Feb 2020 so hopefully your choices have expanded since that time. Here at home, in eastern Canada, we cook with only whole food or less than 3 ingredients (coconut milk and coconut oil, canned beans). Since Palo became a thing, more processed ready made stuff has hit our stores but often loaded with artificial stuff like chemical sweeteners. I won't lie...if we had kids to please or work to go to....don't know if we could do it. Food prep is our number one time consumer.

My favorite way to use the the bacn bits: bake up some tater tots,add a couple slices of Chao cheese and some vegan chili,then sprinkle on the bacn bits.
Top off the whole thing with some Fritos or tortilla chips.

Have you had the updogs? Those are my favorite but I haven’t tried the field roast ones.
Those bacon bits are bomb. I put them in a grinder and make bacon lettuce tomato sandwiches. Makes me very happy.
I found the avocado ice cream
in a shop here in Bielefeld, Germany
and it only came in small pots
so I bought one and tried it in their cafeteria
(after purchase)
It was delicious and not weird
but I wanted to try it because of it being a weird idea.
I wonder if there is a recipe for homemade avocado ice cream?
Sometimes im too lazy to make fancy ramen. I found a cup version that you just pour water into its called Soon Veggie Ramen and its soooooo good !

Living in the Twin Cities metro, we have a plethora of Walmarts, but I've noticed a huge discrepancy between stores in regards to what they carry.

When you mentioned that you were looking for vegan yogurt, my eyes got wide and I whispered "nooooo . . . " Thank goodness the lava cakes distracted you! My Walmart doesn't have this Vegan selection but happy to hear in different locations that they are stepping up the game.
I will love to get your review on the pizza and the mac & cheese. There is another couple who did a taste review on the exact same two and the review were not favorable to them, in fact the had a nonvegan to join in the taste test. So it will be very interesting to hear your review.

My family of 5 is vegan as well and we love to make vegan cheeseburger eggrolls! One of my kiddos favorite!
I always love your videos! With vegan food I’m scared to try things because i’ve been burned so many times especially when i first tried to go vegan and still eat the same foods. I’m learning that there’s actually pretty decent vegan alternatives out there and i can eat some things from my childhood again!

I like adding the bacon bits to my mashed potatoes and on top of my vegan tofu egg sandwiches. It also makes a great vegan version of a deluxe baked potato

Top Ramen soy flavor I believe it's vegan and its .26 a pack. I find it atMeijers (Michigan). I like the Nongshim soon veggie cup noodles in kimchi I add real kimchi in with the noodles. And they are in Walmart for .99 a cup.
Yes it is. Our local grocer (acme) had it but they said they haven't been getting it in since the pandemic :/ I need to find somewhere else to get.

I love all of your videos. But one thing that no one does is tell the audience which place in Walmart can we find the items. Some I know where to look, but many of those items, I may have a hard time finding them.

Love those white choco chips! I haven’t used it in a recipe yet because I just keep grabbing handfuls every time I want something sweet (alrhough your raspberry cinnamon rolls sound amazing and will change that lol!). Also love the Dave’s killer bread, the company also gives convicted felons jobs so I love supporting them. Andddd funny thing about the bacon bits is I recently discovered my love for them. I like to sprinkle it ontop of my avocado toast or into my tofu scramble and it’s really good, and cheaper and better than any “fake bacon” I’ve tried so far. :)

I like the corn dogs. I can't tell the difference from when I ate regular corn dogs. I am in Texas, and I want to see how those chick'n tenders taste. Where I live, Walmart did not have a lot of vegan choices, but I've also had lots of groceries delivered for the past 2-3 months.

I live in really rural KY. Our Wal-Mart carries a few vegan options and they will add new ones. Then if I try to buy them again they are gone and they don't bring them back. Stopped carrying earth balance.
The corn dogs are good. The enjoy life cookies are not
1.98 for those tortilla chips here. Those Ramen noodles might be available at the super Walmart but it's not available at the neighborhood Walmart.

That tortilla chips uses GMO corn ( sprayed with pesticides and round up) better if it's organic

I love Dave's Killer Bread bagels but it is quite pricey for $5+ for a loaf or bag of 5 bagels. They are worth it but it's a splurge item for me. And vegan Avocado ice cream sounds amazing! 🤩 I used to go to a Pho restaurant that serves an Avocado smoothie and they just so happen to be made with coconut milk/cream, so vegan friendly! Good excuse for me to hang around that place again and smell Pho broth 😭😭

I shop at Walmart probably should get a costco membership having 6 kids 😄 but Walmart is my store my oldest daughter is vegan so these are all my essentials but those pretzel bites are her favorite! I’m gluten free so most of these I can’t have but Walmart also has a huge gluten-free selection at-least my local one does and I’m from a small town. 😊
