How to play "No One Together" by Kansas on piano: play through!

- This is not a tutorial, only a play through video, which I still had from my "NOT"-collab in 2017. Since my Kronos touchscreen is broken and I am currently unable to publish new tutorials or finish my already started "Heart Of The Sunrise" tutorial, I thought I would publish this top view of the piano part of NOT. Now that RUclips has a function to slow down audio and video up to 1/4 of the original, this will almost serve as a tutorial.
I raised the volume of the Piano for this video compared to the original collab video, hope this will make it even easier to learn it.

Thank you very much for sharing this video. I was actually using the 1/4 speed on the collab video until I found this video. I'm currently practicing the song. Keep up the good work my friend!
You are very welcome. Saw your ELP covers, I think you won't have any problems to dominate this one either ... Thanks for the nice comment ... keep Proggin' !
Excellent work! The greatest Kansas song of all time
Thanks Geoff! I agree, it's my favorite Kansas song!
Fabulous! Retired professional drummer from L.A. here, this song came out the year I started playing drums, 1980 and I was 14. Listening to this keyboard part has made me hear it differently kinda, great job btw!! Hey. Ill teach you the drum part and you teach me this, deal?...hahahaha
Thanks for the nice comment Drew, very much appreciated. Funny, we are almost the same age, I started playing guitar with 14 too. My first instrument was accordion at the age of 6. With 12 I got my first organ. Believe me, you couldn´t teach me drums not in 100 years, I completely lack talent when it comes to percussion instruments.😄 Greets from Brazil
I think this one of the songs more harder to play in rock history! 😱 Very nice done!
Thanks mate, it's not easy, but definitely by far not as hard as a piano piece by Liszt or Chopin ;)
@rushyeskansas Ah, yeah, I played some Chopin but only the easy and middle difficult pieces!
Bravo!!!!
Thanks!
Hey Richie! It's been a few years, but I stopped by to see what you're doing. This is remarkable as expected. Hope you're doing well, my friend.
Hey Gerald, nice to hear from you, yeah I am doing fine and you and your family, everybody healthy?
Well, when it comes to Kansas, there are no ifs and buts ... and still, it is my all time favorite Kansas tune. Thanks for the message and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
rushyeskansas Glad you’re doing well! We are all healthy and surviving. I got to see Kansas a year ago in Salt Lake City. The new lineup was unbelievable. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. The sound was SO clean and clear!! Perfection! Anyway it was the last concert I was able to attend. 💙
I really enjoyed hearing our cover and seeing it played from your prospective... Terrific Job Richie!
Thanks my friend, was a pleasure to work with you on this one, I would dare to say, my most challenging Kansas Cover.
Fantastic ! I sure miss this style music and sound ! Enjoyed start to finish ! 👍 Bob
Thanx my friend, always good to hear from you, stay safe and healthy!
You should show how to play your opening song on this vid,”Icarus ll”,I think, your tutorials are great,I’m a huge Kansas fan, great job.
Thank you Robert, yeah, Icarus II is a great tune, would be an option for a cover and/or tutorial.
rushyeskansas tutorial definately,so I can learn it,lol.
Love it! Great song, thanks for the playthrough.
thanks a lot Dan!
Hey Richie! A very good lesson. The visual readability is good. And with slow motion, it's easier to learn. I really liked the sound. I wish you to be healthy and safe!
Thank you for the nice comment Dinitri, my friend, you stay safe and healthy too!
well done
Thank you Chris!
Last great prog song by Kansas before the shuffling.
You start video with Icarus ll,damn I wish there was a tutorial for that song, think I already mentioned this to you,I learned a lot of it by ear, just wish there was a decent tutorial I could bounce off, love that song, thx
Thank you Robert, I really appreciate your kind words, and yes you mentioned already for me to make a tutorial for Icarus II. Unfortunately I don't have the time right now to make any tutorials, sorry ... but I really love that song too.
@@rushyeskansas that’s okay,I can do it,it is a cool song,glad your staying busy,I write music too,love it,take care ✌️
@@robertmichalscheck3072 I hope you will post a tutorial when you learned it completely, then you will teach me, I just can play the very beginning of it ;)
@@rushyeskansas I don’t know how to post video?soon as I learn I will,I play intro perfectly, and after that it’s just basically chord structure,I’m picking it out by ear,I don’t read music,I’m long haul driver going back to work soon as I can, injured my shoulder, but probably not til next fall or winter, will I have time to do that, but we’ll do it,sounds good.
@@rushyeskansas after the intro lick it goes b flat ,C,Gm,Am, b flat,C,Gm,F, b flat,C,Eflat,F,G, verse chords are Am,g,f/7,”e bass /g chord”Dm,e/g,then g,probably didn’t name these chords right, but this should be easy for you,I’ve seen you play on yt.
Hi Uwe, hope you are feeling fine, weesch bscheid, du bisch ä raggehd
