Dont regret living the life you could have. Be happy you were able to live. That's an accomplishment in my book, to be able to spread good warmth and joy to the people's lives you were apart of. It may sound insignificant on a small scale. But when everyone has that goal, life feels like its truly worth having.

At that the servant remained silent for a while, until curiosity won again and he asked, "Are you angry about her choice?" "Yes," the Shogun responded immediately, "I am furious that she chose the battlefield, she died because of it. Years of love, arguments, children and grandchildren... Years together-" Suddenly the shogun began to sob, gripping the wall for support. It was then the servant realized how much this man had lost, how much he sacrificed so that people like him did not have to see war, or know death. "And yet," the master cried, "Her presence made war beautiful. The struggle could never tarnish her, she sacrificed everything, and transformed warfare for me. Now instead of blood and death, I remember that moment, whenever I think of war. It is all I can remember, and she is the only thing I can paint." With that, the master fell to his knees, and for the first time in 30 long years truly cried, shedding tears of infinite sadness. It took a while, but soon he regained his composure, and dried his tears, for those would not bring his wife back. He stood, helped by the servant who had waited quietly beside him, a single tear on his cheek. "Lets go, I better not leave them waiting much longer," So the servant dried his face, and followed his master into the light of the new glorious shogunate and fresh cherry blossoms.

What does being stronger mean to you? What is your reason to win? Why at times, you cannot feel love but only anger and hatred? Where are you actually going? Why are you so afraid of life, but excited for death? Look at yourself in a mirror and ask, "Who am I?"
My answer for all of you is:
1) Being stronger is not a reason or teaching, but a passion for who and what you want to fight for.
2) "What is your reason to win?" That question is irrelevant. But more, what is your reason to lose?
3) You only feel anger and hatred because you want to understand but you also choose to ignore. You confuse yourself too much, that you cannot see the love in front of you.
4) Learn from what happened in your past, no matter how dark. Do not think, but feel. Even if you don't know, just take the next step to move towards the future.
5) We are all afraid of life, there is no shame in that. But if you choose to keep on running away from life like a coward, you will always have fear in your heart, and in the end, the only option is to throw it all away. Therefore, you will never be strong. But you must know that even though you think that you are nothing, there are other people that see you as something.
6) "Who am I....?" That is a question that you are going to have to figure out and decide for yourself. But I can help you a little bit with this. You are a person that wishes to learn from the past, in order to become stronger in the future, even if it is small. As long as you give your best, it will mean so much more.

Walks past - ... Yet another has fallen .. Listen warrior ... Leave the life you once knew and find one worth living ... Live the life worth it .. And never forget the ones who are worth living for - continues to walk into the mist and disappears -
Shin was just a kid when he saw him. The first samurai from his village. After he left only stories came back.
Of a small samurai who had slain bandits. A samurai who prevented the assassination of the prince. A samurai who slew many demons and onis. One who lifted the curse, made pacts with dragon and scared the gods.
As he grew older Shin knew most were lies. And the others were just exaggerated tales.
Then one day as he cleaned the stairs of the temple. He saw it. The symbol of his village. The symbol of the samurai's clan. White lotus, worn by another samurai of black hair. She was sobbing in front of the alcove. In front of her gods.
She carried two sheaths. One of them was empty. It stood upright piercing the pavement she sat on. Blood still drenched from it. Dripping down.
Shin didn't poke her. He didn't disturb her. It was either the fear of blades or sympathy of tears or maybe a bit of both which stopped him. He went back without cleaning.
It was a mistake he regretted his entire life.
Another story came the next day. The last one. Their samurai was dead. Succumbed under a curse. Bards soon wrote plays, authors wrote stories which did not exist. And his clan became more strong and expanded to new territories. Even Shin's son joined it after some time.
Rumours were still there but no one questioned his death. Except for Shin. He still cleaned the stairs, took care of the temple. Every day searching, Hoping for the girl to return. To confirm, what he already knew. But he never saw her again. There were no stories about a girl samurai either. No proof of her existence except for the blade she left on the pavement. The blade his son carried now.
Another samurai from their village.
Ready to tell his stories to the next generation...
And with that story
a man will take action
and by action
comes war
and by war
comes sorrow
and by sorrow
comes strength
and by strength
comes a great sacrifice
and by a great sacrifice
comes a story
and with that story
a cycle begins anew

Part 14: A Moment's Respite
Arkio sat down. The central approach was considered a succes, with the freshly arrived reinforcements pushing into the fortress. Which meant 4th had a moment to catch their breath. At least, those few that were left. He had lost one of his lieutenants, the other one, Agrippa, was organising his company to be ready to move. This left Arkio to look over the bodies of their fallen brothers. As their Lord-Captain, he knew all of them by name, and had considered all of them his friends. He nodded for a moment when Drenmar joined him "A moment, brother, I am in prayer."
Drenmar snorted for a moment "Prayer? We do not put our faith in gods-"
"For their spirits, brother. You know as well as I that they need a light to guide them home."
Drenmar nodded for a moment "And Lord Ignatio will see to that."
Arkio sighed as he rose. He felt a slight irritation over not being able to complete the ritual of passing, but one look at the other Lord-Captain's worn out face was enough to silence his anger "You seem concerned. What news?"
Drenmar sighed "My runner reports that the western approach has failed in their assault, even with the Angels of Sanctity joining them. They were bogged down before reinforcements arrived and are presumed dead until further notice. Surveying aircrafts have spotted the companies making the eastern approach, they were scattered and embattled, but alive and still making their way forward. The Adraxian Storm Brigade is sending two armoured regiments to their position. We are to await further notice, but the Titans and Imperial Knights will most likely walk on the central approach."
Arkio nodded for a moment "I... see. Any news on comms?"
Drenmar sighed "Two to three days is their shortest estimate, but it might take longer to get them back up."
"How's your company looking?"
Drenmar sighed for a moment "Better than yours. We started out with two hundred heads, I've eighty left. All of them earned their colours today, I'd say. You?"
Arkio nodded his head towards his seven brothers standing at attention "That's it I'm afraid."
Drenmar nodded looking out over the bodies for a moment "I'll leave you to grieve your losses then."
Arkio nodded, knelt down, and started his prayers anew.
When Alpha-2-73-1 arrived at the landing zone, the first sight that greeted her was rows upon rows of pyres, each with a body on it, prepared for burning. Her system computed she should feel nothing at this sight, it was to be expected, but as she passed the dead, each a legendary warrior in his own right, she could not help but notice what a waste it was to see their lives cut short in such a manner. She had no time to dwell on the thought however, as High Chaplain Ignatio was already awaiting her. "Greetings Domina. We were not expecting the Sovereign of the Wandering Forge to land here in person-"
She cut the greeting short, not in the mood for a long conversation, or diplomatic courtesy "You know what they say. I want this done right."
Ignatio nodded, his skull helmet giving the gesture an ominous aura "Of course, That is why we are here, is it not? Let us discuss battle plans-"
She sighed, this was taking too long "My skitarii legions are at your command. The Titans will deploy once this landing zone is ready to receive them, and do as their princeps wills them. As for House Terrenof, I have never held any sway over them, they go as they please."
The High Chaplain was now clearly growing agitated over her callous disregard of his status, but kept his rage in check "I will notify my brothers. The Chief Librarian wishes to speak with you, Domina. He is up ahead." He made a sharp turn and before heading back, added "You will have to forgive me for not accompanying you, I have rights to minister."
Alpha shook her head for a moment as he left, then set of to find the Chief Librarian. One would be unwise to keep Sektekh waiting, no matter their status.
The old knight smiled at the young squire “ do you know the one thing more powerful than a hero?” He asked the squire looked at him curiously tilting his head waiting for a response “ A martyr, you see a hero can save people, however a martyr can inspire people to save themselves”
A person who wins a war is a hero.A person who stops a war is a legend
Live your life in such a way, Oden and Saint Peter are cheering a hero's welcome.
Where to start......
Remember those around you... Remember those who have gone in our lives. Remember the life they lived. Remember the good and remember how awesome they were.. Remember them, cherish them.
I have... Because of many who I remember and I remember the lives they lived. What they went though. Toughest of times.. The Hardest of times...

This sword marks the spot where her closest friend die a person she deeply cherished a person who went and fought for her and everything she held dear. She demanded she go with them but she was put to sleep to keep her safe.When she came to grabbed her sword and when after them but when she was already too late their bloody blade in the ground.She falls to her knees remembering the last think they said to her "Thank you for helping me live a life worth remembering"
