Although Isai lost this match (on purpose or not, whatever)....... I'm not sad, I'm just happy to see him having such a good time. Hopefully we can see more of him in the future! : )
He didn't SD on purpose guys, come on. He wanted to quickly fast fall, then jump and bair. He had it spaced perfectly and he would've won the game. You see the bair come out immediately after the fast fall, he just missed his jump input (and look at his player cam, he's mashing jump on the way down). We all know he's not the most competitive player out there but he's not gonna throw away a set like that, not in 64.
***** I've actually played with Jouske. His controller skill isn't as good as Isai's but you don't need to have the best tech in the world to be the best player in the world.
Smh at the ppl who say he threw the match. He was very rusty (no johns at all, the man hadn't been to a tourney since what, Apex 2014?) and he was going with a character who, regardless of being Rat, he wasn't fully warmed up with. Everybody misses inputs, even Isai. How can you blame someone for messing up under the first late-tourney pressure they've been under for years, with a character they're using almost pure muscle memory for against a Puff with a highly refined neutral game who's riding momentum AND you're using a controller that's over 16 years old?
Damn the Isai bias is real. I like isai a lot and have nothing but respect for him but wangera won fair and square. He wouldn't have sandbagged with pikachu, especially not after being worried enough to switch to pikachu in the first place. The reality of smash bros is you crack under pressure, and sometimes you just sd on the last stock. I respect both players, but wangera got a legitimate win against the greatest 64 player of all time, he deserves to pop off. And the question on whether he would've won is irrelevant because, he didn't, and that's how smash works. Either way great stuff from both players
Kyle Steele I know this comment was a year ago, but they're using a modded version of the game that allows for it. It's the same reason the games end with zero KOs (if you watch other matches)
Man I don't think it was intentional by any means, but after watching the Smash Bros Documentary it makes me wonder. He is such a selfless and nice guy that maybe, just maybe, he would have felt bad if he knocked Wangera out so he SD'd. Very tinfoil hat, but either way great set and we love you Isai
+SuperFootball7 Lol no Boom beat Wangera twice, Isai didn't even win with Pikachu, Isai lost to Wario in Rat dittos, while Boom took a set, and Boom was beating Isai's Fox in friendlies handily. It is indeed a dumb reason, though.
You guys are crazy. It was an input error--he was in a favorable edge guard position. He didn't have any psychological bullshit SDing on purpose to please anyone.
Regardless to whether or not Isai did SD on purpose (I would like to believe he didn't but you never know), I think we can all agree if he wanted to, he could have won.
+LEGACY It used to be that people would accuse Isai of sandbagging for destroying people with JIgglypuff. Now his Fox and Pika got taken out by a Jiggs.
August Celine III and everyone is crying about it seriously I love Isai he is such a nice person but he has such a garbage fanbase pretty much every loved player has a garbage community Mew2King, Mang0, Isai, Zero (used to be hated but not anymore every smash player likes him now)
Ahh shit!!! Input error!!!!!!!! God damnit Isai you big dummy wtf you had that! Ahhh whatever he's still the best. Love to see real gamers having fun. (Wangera is fucking sick too.)
he would of won that if the crowd was getting in his head. remember in the documentary crowd cheering his name for the match against captain Jack and he fuck around and didn't try shit isai wants silence when playing the crowd is going to run him away from the n64 totally
How is it being ignorant? We both have different opinion. You believe it's an SD. I believe it really was Isai throwing away that match. Because he knew the outcome.
+Julius Caesar Do you rly think it's that impossible that while moving from a yellow to the A button as fast as possible to jump->aerial he was too sloppy on the yellow so his jump didn't came out? Srsly, everybody has to be a judge these days...
"That was as Isai as anything Isai's ever done."
- Prog, The Smash Brothers Ep. 3 "Don't Get Hit"
Why isn't anyone talking about how good this Jiggs is? Wangera is phenomenal!
yep that's aallllllllll Wangera was doing.... >.>
:^)
Well how else is Jiggs gonna kill, do what you can
The best puff in the world

All part of the charade
not only did Isai's tournament run die, however about 15,000 stream viewers did as well.
heartbreaking.
+FaTeRiseClan Because he's the hypest player.
+August Celine III yeah, isn't it that obvious?
LEGACY I don't know how to respond to that.
Isai, the true people's champ
no
yes
narutouzumakijoshua yeah but so is Wangera
I remember seeing this live and it was a heartbreaker
isai is still the GOAT, just rusty is all
+Space Cowboy Jouske has been better for like 3 years

Gay
@@R_E_X_O_ Ah yes, the common response. Anyway, Isai still played really good here

Isai is still so good. It looks like he is having the same problems I'm having these days... C-down controller deadening :(
Wangera quickly starting to hover his cursor over pikachu after he saw Isai deselect Fox is one of the funniest things in smash to this day
I love Isai so it's heartbreaking for me
BUT LETS GO IM SO PROUD TO BE A PUFF MAIN AND HAVE SUCH GREAT PLAYERS
Angel gameplay ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ YOOOOOOOOO!!!
Angel gameplay ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ no ;-;
I think Isai is the best player smash bros only when it proposes
I almost throw my cellphone when i saw that fell T_T
How is there stock and time on ssb64

Great SD , so real ...
Man I don't think it was intentional by any means, but after watching the Smash Bros Documentary it makes me wonder. +Tnail12 honestly i think he just didn't want to play boom, boom has had his number for a while
+SuperFootball7 Lol no Boom beat Wangera twice, Isai didn't even win with Pikachu, Isai lost to Wario in Rat dittos, while Boom took a set, and Boom was beating Isai's Fox in friendlies handily. It is indeed a dumb reason, though.
He just didnt want to disappoint the crowd. He figured if he just SD'd. People would say "thats the only reason he lost when he picked pikachu."
You guys are crazy. It was an input error--he was in a favorable edge guard position. He didn't have any psychological bullshit SDing on purpose to please anyone.
LimeSoda He's known for giving up tournaments. Wtf
Regardless to whether or not Isai did SD on purpose (I would like to believe he didn't but you never know), I think we can all agree if he wanted to, he could have won.
WARIO, ALVIN, ,WANGERA,FUKORUO, KURABBA ,SUPERBOOMFAN, WIZROBE, KYSK top best in the world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isai is stil imo the best smash 64 player !
Hope Isai will bring out Rat again in tourney.
I just want to see link
link or luigi or maybe dk
Not like this... not like this...
Idk, the first set isai was just dominating, and then when he was up 2 stocks, he just started getting bodied.
That SD was so fake
WANGERA LITERALLY BODIED ISIA DWL
my boy asai
At least no sandbag.
+LEGACY It used to be that people would accuse Isai of sandbagging for destroying people with JIgglypuff. Now his Fox and Pika got taken out by a Jiggs.

he was button mashing jump, doubt he really wanted to SD
he would of won that if the crowd was getting in his head. remember in the documentary crowd cheering his name for the match against captain Jack and he fuck around and didn't try shit isai wants silence when playing the crowd is going to run him away from the n64 totally
+fatdudeswag404 no
Don't make johns for him. He knew he was gonna lose.
***** Watch the match, smart ass.
***** Nope, you can't handle the fact that Isai was gonna lose and didn't wanna look like a buster. :)
How is it being ignorant? We both have different opinion. You believe it's an SD. I believe it really was Isai throwing away that match. Because he knew the outcome.
it's allways like if isai changes to pika after two or three fights with another char, he loose the game with pika.
cross25011990 "lose"
man it's really hard to like Isai when he does shit like that
so sad :'(
BibleThump
LD step aside! LD
:(
OMG
ISAI WHY
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
No
sannnnnnnnnnndbagggggggged
:'c
ezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
that SD was super bad sportsmanship and lame overall. giving someone the win doesn't make you cool or a hero.
+Julius Caesar Do you rly think it's that impossible that while moving from a yellow to the A button as fast as possible to jump->aerial he was too sloppy on the yellow so his jump didn't came out?
