Thanks for the great review Carlo. The detail you go into makes your reviews stand out compared to other channels. I have a pair of the Sabas Pro Series and think they are a great glove for the under $150 price point. Just a heads up for those that may not be aware, but Sabas has two instagram channels. On one of their channels they frequently offer gloves at a discount. Random colors and weights, but if you wait something will show up that you like.
Another solid review. I purchased a 16oz pair a few months back as well. Looked much higher quality than a Pro Series pair I bought in 2017. The only thing that needed a little improvement was that it was very stiff and hard to open at first. But a little breaking in and it was good. My first pair from Sabas was bought in 2016 I believe. That pair is still going strong, one of the best pairs of gloves I’ve ever owned. Just some flattened padding at this point but the stitching has held up well.
I have a pair that I got back in 2016 and one thing I love about them is the thick rugged leather. Hopefully they don't use the same materials as infinitude now because those gloves did not hold up at all.
Great video! Could you revisit the solo boxing gloves they look like they updated the quality of gloves wondering if it’s worth the low price point thx 🙏
Thanks Carlos, good review as always, your right even if Sabes gloves are made in Pakistan they are still a good glove, still my favorite glove in its class , keep you the review champ
I have 3 pairs of these two lace up at 16oz and one velcro 12 Oz for very low use and good price. Nothing on it screams Pakistani the leather and stitching is superior sorry not to mention that customs orders are very quick to ship from Us. I can understand that shipping from Mexico to California Can be Quick and cheap but from Pakistan for only one pair at this price or one kit is not a viable economical option. I came to the conclusion that they are truly made in Mexico with their own way. They never claimed to be goatskin or latex filled. I think their gloves are pretty good far better than Fairtex Thai or Pakistani gloves. People that keeps knocking them are suspicious and are missing really nice gloves.
I got a pair and I love them. Get the Velcro tho, I regret getting laces. They are quality and for 120 it’s not bad at all!! Good investment but in the future I will get me a pair of Reyes anyways
Hey Carlos, maybe you can revisit Ring to Cage C17. The have new updated version. With old model you did the first test those gloves on youtube and now it would bi nice to see if they are still the closest to Winning gloves.
IMO the gloves look great actually despite the manufacture place issue. However, the do really look a little bit different from the Mexican made gloves. I thought most Mexican gloves are filled with latex or mainly filled with latex. No matter what good gloves at reasonable prices. If they had better postage options I would definitely go with some of their gloves. GOOD REVIEW as usual
I have really been on the fence with Sabas! This was a great, much needed review brother. Ironically, they are giving discounts now 10% off 100 dollars or more. I am still wondering do I go with Top Boxer or these. I have some thinking to do! Thanks again.
That has been a suspicion of mine as well. The TopBoxer’s would last longer. Sabas are some nice looking gloves. I really like the vibrant colors they offer as well.
Just ordered these on sale. I have Cleto’s and fighting gloves in my rotation . Sound like they are compare to the Fighting fury gloves.... which is not bad at all.
Hey Carlo, thanks for this review! I've been looking for new gloves lately and stumbled upon your channel, great stuff! Any recommendations on gloves that offer the best thumb protection? I injured my thumb during a sparring match and I am afraid of reinjuring it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
To be honest I love the models colourways.. i ordered Prime TC feww days ago and I'm super stocked waiting for it to arrive in the Netherlands. I'm curious about the prime as it should be their flagship and as many people say "for real" made in Mexico. My friend has the new pro version so I will compare them and let u know if the difference is big ( if they actually smell , feel and hurt like Mexicans.).
Thanks for the review! Looking for gloves for light sparring and bag work that are comfortable and provide good support but don’t cost a ton of cash. I think these might be them.
I just got a pair of Sabas pro series lace. I wanted to ask if any of yours have a sloppy inner liner that’s kind of baggy around the fingers?? Reminds me of winter gloves where the lining moves around freely inside as opposed to being stitched close creating a 3D open hand inside. I swear it’s like someone put a trash bag inside my glove when I put my hand in it. Is this normal for Sabas gloves?????
Yes that's normal for proseries and supersoft. I have both and they have inner lining bunch up. Try their prime series, they said the inner lining is different. Rougher, i imagine like mexican gloves. Which model and color did you get?
My sabas 14 oz pro series, they have great protection good pup on the bag.. They lil over weight, 15'4 oz.. And to wide with The size inside the glove, they feel like twice of winnings 14 oz.. And grip bar so soft so i can't make a good fist 👊🏼, but other then that thy good 👌🏼
Nice review if you were to have one sabas glove would you say supersoft has many advantages at all? Seems like there isn't much difference from seeing different reviews
Hey Carlo I recently bought my first gloves which was the Title Pro Style Leather Training Gloves 3.0 (16oz, black), Could you please make a review of it?
Would you recommend me to buy the Pro Series lace up version? I've heard that their quality has been getting worse and I'm not really sure, I want to try them, but I also don't wanna waste $120+ USD on a bad pair of gloves. Love ur videos, thumbs up from Mexico.
I hope they improved the padding. I had ordered custom gloves from them and padding broke after 2 months. I hit them up about it and they pretty much blew me off.
Gilbert Juarez jr the quality was great before, then it got bad when they started making them in pakistan i believe, but now they’re back making them in mexico so they’re back to feeling great imo
The sabas super soft fits more snug than the pro series. My personal reason I don’t use my sabas pro series 16oz that much is because of the extra room in the glove. Winning also has a roomy feel. The fit on these sabas gloves might have changed since I bought mine like 2 years ago.
No reputable company would have the "hecho en Mexico" or "Made in Thailand" on the inside of the cuff and not on the outside of the gloves. Mexican and Thai gloves have too much pride not to put that on the outside. These Pakistan gloves are definitely NOT made in Mexico.
@@675lt7 Hi !What bag gloves do you recommend for just hitting the heavy bag?I'd like a product that will sustain itself for heavy bag or pad work. How about the old style Bag Gloves.Thanks.
Johnny Angel in my opinion the best gloves for the price are the Superior boxing gloves, you can find on ebay for 27$ plus 25$ shipping(amazing quality, feel, leather) but for a bag glove you cant go wrong with all the rival bag gloves, personally they will be the next bag glove i’m gonna buy (I’m taling about that sit in the 140$ price range)
@@csquaredboxing thats a huge bummer. These were in my top 3, the old version was at least. Thought about trying and reviewing Infinitude. Do they have the pad?

Hey carlos, so if i was thinking about getting new gloves, are these exactly like the infinitude or do you think the sabas quality is better
Spend a few more bucks and get TopBoxer. Overwhelmingly positive reviews.
They’re both the same tbh
I have a 16 oz pair of the pro series gloves which I use for sparring. Very nice gloves and I recommend.
Nice!

Hi carlo you should do a review about Matador. Mexican stile boxing gloves made in Italy
I’ll check them out
I still have a pair of everlast MX for over a year now and the leather smell is still very strong
Nice!

I’ll try to get those
Hi, how are they in term of durability
Sabas pro series or sg210 (for overall training)
I bought an old used pair years ago off Ebay and they are still holding up.
Its a shame how the quality took a dip in the past couple of years.
Yeah I agree
There is a sale right now for these, SabasPro or R2C c17 2.0
Sabas

It has
what do for work? and how many gloves do you own??
Nothing and 5607
Do you prefer these or the r2c c17?
R2C
Which medium to high range glove would you recommend for all uses
47 if you mean price wise there are Adidas AdiSpeed(around 140$), Cleto Reyes higher price (190$) and the best on my opinion Fly (320$)
