@@ChrisEllinas Quick question: Layers - Keyframe Assistant - Sequence Layers -> my layers don't end up looking like yours do. In other words, the sequence looks like a downwards staircase instead of an upwards one. Know what I'm saying? Would you happen to know how to reverse that?
@@lukescheller7216 I totally understand what you're saying! To make sure you get it right, try selecting the layers from the bottom one to the top. Start by clicking on the last layer, and while holding down the Shift key, click on the first one. Give it a go and let me know if this does the trick for you!
In the Timeline panel, locate the Motion Blur column (it looks like three small circles). If you don't see this column, click on the "Toggle Switches/Modes" button at the bottom of the timeline until you do. Check the Motion Blur box for each layer you want to apply the effect to. Hope this helps 🙂
Great tutorial. Honestly one of the best AE tutorials I've ever seen. Would love if you made more! Quick question: Could you share the AE file too? I followed the tutorial exactly and it looks great, although the reveal of the Marvel logo looks a bit off on mine. Would be good to compare to your project. Thank you!

hey bro i hope your still active this was a great tutuorial just wanted to know how come the preview is so grainy. i understand this might be render problem but is this got anything to do with layers etc thanls wish u the best
Hey thanks for watching my video! I'm a bit behind because of work but I'm planning to come back with a lot of videos 😊 So, yes maybe it's the preview, you can change the playback quality from the second button in the lower left corner of the composition panel, the options are normally auto, full, half, third, and quarter, you can pick full to see it in full quality but it will take longer to render. Also, the texture 2:03 could cuz the graininess, I like it because it reminds me of old comic book texture but you can skip this step if you don't like it. All be happy to see your results 🙂
@@ChrisEllinas ayy thanks for getting back to me. I didnt use a texture for mine yet so could be preview but also im using naruto manga panels for my version so i think maybe the jpeg quality just isnt as good as the marvel ones you used. they are also different sizes readjusted to fit the screen. Sure! ill link the edit in one of your comment sections. Hope you have a blessed one
Good question, if you can't see the ''Mode'' panel, right click on the bar on top of your timeline files where it says ''Layer Name'' for example. And go ''Columns'' → ''Modes''. 😊
Thanks for watching! I'm not really sure what you mean by final, since the tutorial is meant for you to create it yourself with your own designs etc. If you have any questions or need help with a specific part, just let me know! 🙂
Hi, I have a problem when I click the 3D layers for all the layers (except for the background solid layer), I lose the multiply blending effect and my comic book sequence images no longer have the colour/tinge of the background layer. Anyone knows how to resolve this? I have already enabled active camera as well...
@@TheTyb1995 hmm maybe Ae doesn't preview it correctly. Try to drop your resolution to "Half" or lower and turn on "Fast Draft" on your composition panel, see if this works?
@@ChrisEllinas thank you so much! finally understood how it works, so the actual 'marvel intro effect' only begins at the midway of the composition till the end. Hence , the intital few seconds of the intro will not have that shade of red (background colour)

Click on your last layer and then by holding the shift key click on the top layer, this way you will have all the layers selected from the bottom up 😊
can the same thing be done usingg capcut ?
I have never used capcut, so I couldn't say for sure.
