Great model, I’ve got 2 of there class 24’s and I still think they are the gold standard for detail and sound and overall running. Even my newer Accurascale and Cavalex don’t quite match them.
I ordered a 25 from them last night. I have seen them around and know someone who owns a few and decided to splash the cash. We pronounce it Dar-bee here in Derby!
Hi ya Craig. What a fantastic looking loco. Brilliant sound, as you know I'm DC but love it for the detail. Even got little people in the cab. Going to look the great on your lovely layout. Thank you for showing us. Thumbs up thumped 👍 .... Pete....
Nice model that one is. I am thinking of trying out O gauge soon. I will have some videos coming on this around December time though. I like the Class 03 and the Class 60 from Heljan. Keep up the great videos mate. Peter.
New subscriber here !. First review I’ve seen of the Sutton class 25. Shames you didn’t show the detail in the cabs but never mind. It looks absolutely awesome!. Sounds good too, but I’m slightly perplexed as to the horn sounding every time you started the loco up. Did you do this or is that part of the sound file?. Certainly cold start having been stood for some time there wouldn’t be any air in the system to sound the horn so I’m a bit confused. That aside I can only say I’m envious…jealous and I want one. Now I’ve found your channel I will be back. Good video mate..
Hi Craig, just come across your channel when I saw you were looking at the Suttons Locoworks Class 25. I have one of their earlier Class 24 models, and have to agree with all your comments. I am guessing this is the first Suttons loco you have purchased from the excitement as you unboxed the model. They truely are a work of art, aren't they. They run super smooth and silent, and compared to other manufacturers sound fitted models aren't that much more...............Although I believe they call it a biscuit tin, not a baked bean tin though..............But I would excuse you due to the excitement of unboxing an amazing model..................Great stuff, all the very best Dave.
Thankyou for finding my channel and many thanks for the comment and feedback yip the loco has blown all other manufacturers out the water if these don't win loco of the year there's something wrong
@@newdurhamjunctionmodelrail9236 I think they get sadly overlooked when it comes to awards, probably due to there only being now basically two models. I think people think they are really expensive because they are such great quality, but I was surprised when I bought mine that they really aren't any more than any other DCC sound model. I know I found their service and advice really first rate. I buy my speakers direct from them too , and I also bought a Zimo Class 47 decoder, although they sadly no longer do the sound decoder.
I have seen these on their stand at York show, the sound is good on here but in real far better and the detail is spot on. I ordered a 24 years ago but still waiting and not sure if they dropped that one when they began making the 25's.
Thanks cedercam it's took three years for them to get the class 25 project out but defo well worth the wait give them a phone call they most probably help you
@@newdurhamjunctionmodelrail9236 I know it takes years for them to send things out. The 24 is the Scottish one that looks like a 25 with car headlights. They were at York show at Easter but I did not get to ask about it this year. It is not as if they took any payment like some do so not really worried if I have a long wait.
Hello Craig. Excellent model and sound. Still waiting for my delivery. I saw there was a digital sound brochure. Does that include the general maintenance manual as well, or is that info missing?
A word of warning. For some reason the etched works plates are in the invoice stuck to the outside of the brown paper on the postage parcel. Easily missed!
It's a lovely looking loco and I'm glad that you have one but this was in no way a review? It was just you letting people know that you liked it and that it had sound.... You didn't mention any of the things that you would find in a review.
Everyone has different ways on reviewing a loco my freind in way I could Ave went into more detail with it in future vids I will as I try to keep my vids les than 30 mins lol as people lose interest in watching
Yes al they did they phoned me last week I got the email yesterday notice of dispatch via royel mail and I received the loco this morning trust me they are well worth the wait
