    I found that 3.4 FDR works best on that track layout. When I try FDR between 3.3 and 3.4, the car gets slower when FDR gets closer to 3.30

    Some nice smooooth driving there John! Still looks like they have a bit more speed on that back straight but way better than last time.

      I might be overgeared now. You can see my accel is slower but top speed in of straight is higher. A few tooth down on pinion should be just right. 🤷‍♂️

      @@netcruzer trial and error I guess. Any idea what the motor temps were?

      Which internal ratio did you use? The hot trick to that car is to use the larger spur pulley set. I think it's a 20 tooth pulley (or larger)...
      Try an 82 tooth spur and get as close to 3.17 as possible? 🤷

    the straight is small part of the track gear for the infield . your car looks like it could use some rear grip- softer springs&oil nice driving tho two thumbs up

    Sry just say your fdr calculations...yeah put the 20 tooth pulley set on and go from there. What are your competitors geared at and what chassis are they running

    Hello ,
    Just out of curiosity, how much does such a car cost equipped like yours?

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Год назад +1

      Depends, ~$120 motor, ~$100 ESC, ~$40 tires, ~$80 servo, ~$120 transponder, ~$100 battery, etc. You are likely looking at 500-600 in racing equipment ontop of the bare chassis cost.

    It's a pity that the gentleman to your left moved forward so that you couldn't see the track! Nice smooth driving.

    Just curious... do you sell your old ones or put them on the shelf?

      Both. Depends on what sentimental vs real value it has.
