    When I was in school late 70s to 90, they were "teaching" tolerance and all that goes with it, but as I got older I realized it was not something that the immigrants were taught. And at 9-10 years old in Merced Cal. I was introduced to another culture by assault and harassment but that was ok because of my lighter shade. Immigration needs to be managed at many levels. Today, they say everyone is an immigrant sorry but you are nearly 400 years late to that argument as well as many of us have some "native" American in our DNA as well.

    The difference is also that in the past for thousands of years these migrations were limited to migrations within our continent, native Europeans migrated from one part of Europe to another, it was very rare for someone from Africa to migrate to Scandinavia or Eastern Europe, today it is a mass phenomenon leading to the gradual replacement of the native population of Europe with a foreign one, in many places in Europe native Europeans already constitute only 60-70% of the population and this percentage is constantly decreasing, this was not the case in the Viking Age. And besides, the fact that something was the norm in the past does not mean that it is good and beneficial, wars and plagues were also the norm in the past like migrations.

      @@sebe2255 It is worth adding that these Asian Huns, Avars, Cumans, Turks and Magyars settled in Europe in very small numbers, usually it was a small elite ruling over the masses of indigenous Europeans so that they quickly dissolved among them, so that it is difficult to meet an indigenous European with an Asian phenotype today because their Hunnic or Magyar genetic origin is a few percent at most.

    I think looking at their views on race through our modern lense is wrong, I'm sure alot of them would be what we consider "racist" and others might be more open to it.
    Also 6:20 when did we migrate to a completely different place racially? we always migrated to other european places very close by.. And the majority of our ancestors lived in the same place always. you can't really compare mass african migration north to what we did. "i cant find anything similar to racism" what an absurd take. Some of the most mobile, outward-looking people on earth at the time were the Norse. +90% of the planet worked in agriculture or trades of some form. If there was even a concept of race it was due being able to differentiate.
    Also regarding the migration period, these people were Indo-European warriors and not the urban, highly civilized type so mentioning the "politeness" of people who had a warrior aristocracy predicated on cattle raiding is just not bright. Nor is ANY equivelency to Muslims and others of the modern era being imported to rig elections and stimulate the economy via becoming consumers.
    This mindset of equivalency is absolutely ridiculous. Though you jave a point about Le Pen and others, if you dont take a stand you will lose your cities, your governments and then your culture itself.

I absolutely support the blackest black Africans if they're Atheists or Pagans (or even modern Christians), and I absolutely despise the whitest blue-eyed Chechen people if they are muslims. It's never been about race and it is not racism. Activism used to mean more than reactionism.
    To paraphrase Mr. Durden (who spoke a lot of sense through "Jack's" mouth, if you pick through the crazy): We are the middle children of history. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. With the exception of the last 80 years, or so, the entire history of our evolution has been a history of struggle. Now, in the absence of true struggle, we create it for ourselves. The most manic of us are already either "right" or "left." The sensible among us recognize there is no such distinction, but-until we're pushed far enough-will not move past the reactionism we've been practicing for decades.
    The question is: what will it take? What will be the final straw that causes us to rise up from the middle and put "right" and "left" back in their place?
    Whatever it is, I'm at the point where I just hope it happens sooner rather than later, consequences be damned, because what we're doing isn't working.

    To quote from Tacitus first century writing on the Germanic Tribes: "For myself, I accept the view that the peoples of Germany have never contaminated themselves by intermarriage with foreigners but remain of pure blood, distinct and unlike any other nation."

    Everyone in the comments: Remember that the Germanic peoples spent literally hundreds of years migrating southward due to various problems and pressures, and were "migrants" themselves. They would often beg and plead with Rome to be let in, run from the Huns, and "take over" in Celtic areas. Also, at the very beginning of the formation of the Germanic peoples, the earlier Corded Ware culture forced itself as "migrants" into Europe, where they fought over resources with the native Neolithic farmers. Often, maybe even most of the time, they were "unwanted" by the natives for sucking up resources and being a nuisance. There is no such thing as a "native European," unless you mean the original inhabitants from 40,000 years ago, who've been almost extinct for so long now that it's almost absurd.

      @@cmd7930 Which ancestors? The dark-skinned hunter-gatherers from 35,000 years ago? Or the farmers from the Neolithic who migrated to Europe from Anatolia? Or the Indo-Europeans, who were a combination of two groups from Western Asia who originally were nothing alike before merging? Are you aware that people like Romans and ancient Germans had no concept of a "Europe," and were constantly fighting to keep smaller tribes and groups out of "their" land? They hated each other. There was no "European unity." As far as Rome was concerned, the "developed world" was Italy, Greece, France (Gaul), Tunisia (Carthage), Egypt, Syria, and Persia. They looked down on the Germans. There were no invisible lines separating the Egyptians from the Romans, somehow making the Egyptians an "other" while Romans were conveniently placed into the same category as the Germans as being "the same" and "European." These are modern categories that are purely arbitrary and have nothing to do with tribal affiliations or genetics. Get a clue, doofus.

      @cmd7930 2 месяца назад +1

      @@gadpivs this can be said about all other continents but you only say it about Europeans. Jewish much?
      Also the hunter gatherers, neolithic farmers and Aryans are all our ancestors. We are European natives since our ancestors been living here for thousands of years. Us Europeans have ethnic, cultural and linguistic similarities that make us the natives.
      Also Egyptians didn’t know Africa, Persians didnt know Asia, American Indians didnt know America. I guess now none of them are native. What a nonsensical argument to make.
      Also both Romans and Germans share Aryan ancestry, Aryan languages and Aryan religions. Same can be said about the Celtics, Iberians, Greeks, Slavs, Baltics etc who also share these roots making them native Europeans.

    • @gadpivs
      @gadpivs 2 месяца назад

      @@cmd7930 All nonsense. Yes, Persians didn't know what Asia was, because "Asia" didn't exist back then. This obviously does not apply exclusively to Europeans. It is just as idiotic for an Iranian man to be proud to be "Middle Eastern," ignoring that Indians and Jews and Kurds are also "Middle Eastern," and that all of these people often fought each other and had no sense of unity at any point in history. This is not unique to Europe in any way. The hunter-gatherers of Europe from the upper Paleolithic were largely driven out until they went extinct as a result of interacting with farmers from modern day Turkey and surrounding areas. I don't think they're too happy about the idea that modern Europeans look nothing like them and took their land from them 6,000 years ago. The concept of staying put in one spot with invisible lines drawn around you is very modern, a by-product of things like the industrial revolution and Romantic Nationalism. It has absolutely fuck all to do with ancient peoples and their ideas about who is and isn't allowed on "their" land, if they even were territorial in the first place (which hunter-gatherers definitely weren't). Until modern times, people regularly migrated all over the place. It's just part of being human. There is no "homeland" for anyone, European or otherwise. If there were, then why are Germanic peoples in France and Switzerland? Why didn't they despise the idea of imposing themselves on the Romans and Gauls, and remain back in Denmark and Sweden, where they "belong"? Or why didn't the earlier ancestors of those Scandinavians from the Corded Ware culture stay in the Eurasian steppe where they "belonged" before becoming migrants?

    The Vikings were not "racist" in the sense of organized racism in Viking society, but... leaving aside the stupidity of judging ancient cultures by modern morality, there are definitely a few examples from Old Norse literature that would be considered racist by modern standards. The poem Rigsthula associates dark physical appearance with ugliness, stupidity and slaves, whereas light skin, eyes and hair are associated with the nobility and thought of as beautiful. In Hamdismal, the brothers Hamdir and Sorli mock their half-brother for being of half-Hun origin and call him "brown little one". Also, Erik the Red's Saga describes the Native Americans the Norse encountered in less than favorable language ("they were black men and ill-looking"). They seemed to percieve them as quite ugly by their own, ethnocentric beauty standards. Any of this would be considered "racist" if written today and none of this should really be a surprise. The Vikings lived over a thousand years ago and had a completely different moral outlook than we do today; it's asinine to think their ideals woud align with modern liberalism or any other modern ideology for that matter.
