Y’all, not Beyonce being exposed yet again, for stealing from black artists! This seems to be a recurring theme with Beyonce whenever she drops new music, and at this point, it’s getting harder and harder to ignore what people are saying about her.
She has been caught red-handed in the past straight-up lying about song credits, but this time, it’s way worse, because song-writer, Tiffany Red, just came out to expose Beyonce of stealing up to 30% of royalties from songwriters who work for her. It’s super messy, because Beyonce is finally responding to the allegations, and y’all won’t believe how she is handling this mess.

The songwriters are right. I've read other songwriters telling others to know that if you work with Beyonce, you're going to give up some of your publishing. And I found that out over 10 years ago. And it's not just Beyonce. A lot of the artists pressure the songwriters because they know the songwriters are trying to be known and have a career.

Songwriters need to ban together and choose not to give 25% of a song that they fully wrote no matter who the artist is... and they need to stick to their guns...if its a loss on one artist trust that another opportunity will come.

I feel that without the artist, unless that person can sing themselves, the songwriters' song wouldn't be nothing, but words on paper. Now, if you are going to write for someone, then you need to make a better deal. For example, if the song is only on the album and doesn't go anywhere, then you get 20%. If the song goes gold, then 30%. If it is hits number one, then 50% and your name in the credits. And if the artist doesn't agree to your terms, then move on. Because eventually, someone will do you right.
