man who understands the game vs man who is always angry at something 😂
😂💯
Its entertainment. Tim Cahill is far to good at this.
Keane isn’t even a good pundit just says controversial things and is always miserable
This is why he’ll never make a good coach
Grumpy old man this Keane
Roy should be reminded of this analysis😂
He'll somehow still say he was right.
His response would be ‘Well what have they won?’
And he'd be right@@PonchusMcMuffin
@@PonchusMcMuffinthat’s a simplistic mindset no wonder why he flopped as coach
Cahill was being silly the whole show. Roy was tired of him. Arsenal are doing well because they have the 2nd best squad in the league. Tactics and formation don't win you a league.
This has aged beautifully
Like a fine wine!
Where's the premier league trophy
@@blue_red_screenit’s coming don’t you worry about that.

Tim Cahill, who first hand saw Arteta at Everton, knew exactly the kind of manager he would become. Top first hand analysis.
Tim Cahill, who first hand saw Arteta win nothing at Everton and knew exactly the kind of failed manager he would become
@@RichardStone-xk2px that's a Nobel prize for your analysis. Great one....same as Roy.
@@mangoesboy Roy's won more trophies than the bottlers have...what does he know eh?
@@RichardStone-xk2px You are really "good" in analysis. We are not talking about who has the most trophies. Lol! 🤣
@@RichardStone-xk2pxhe has more than 30 trophies kid?
This video sums up Roy Keane as a pundit
*angry
*high pitch voice
Agree, he just chats rubbish
And as a manager too
Roy's analysis/punditry is biased, temperamental, and lacked foresight. Even Tim Cahill, who didn't ply his trade at a very big club, forsaw what Arteta was cooking way back before the fans.
He's an excellent pundit. Cahill was annoying that show. Arsenal have a better squad this year which is why they're doing better.
Can we have Tim in the studio on Sunday 😂
He was like this up until the end of last season too. Spoke about United possibly being back this season and rolled his eyes when Micah said Arsenal would be up there again.
It breaks Roy's heart that Arsenal are good and Utd are shite...
He hates Arsenal more than any other team.
Wasn’t Roy a Spurs fan growing up? Makes sense..
So good they've won the league
@@lancedsouza1547 He was but he hates them too 😂
@@blue_red_screen Imagine being a Utd fan , they have to be depressed 😂
Sky should bring on Tim Cahill more instead of all the former Utd players
For sure . Tim was talking sense and I would of agreed with him at the time if I heard this
I think Cahill is based in the Middle East heading up football operations there for one of the FA’s
He spoked with a lot of sense, that's why he won't be back 😂
@@jagmaharesi2486 well I don’t see why not . I don’t mind the United former players but they do talk a bit of garbage
@@livinginlondon6122 those former united boys don't always have the best analysis but they like to say things that will generate the viewership and ratings. Can't say the same for the ones who actually brought in a closer insight like cahill does.
Sky Sports Retro stay keeping receipts 😂
Cahill literally played with Arteta in Everton under David Moyes for several years. I'm pretty sure he knew what he was talking about Mr. Keane
Both of them were ballers under Moyes. Cahill was an amazing 2nd striker and always turned up in the big games
Goes to show that Cahill is more reflective and knows what he is talking about whereas Keane just reacts to results
Proof Roy Keane is incapable of analysing football matches. Thats why he failed as a manager. Shocking pundit
You're right he's a shocking pundit and he's been a regular coming on weekly for sky sports for years. How pathetic of them.
Roy is a surface level thinker and that’s me being nice
I think you're a bit generous calling him a thinker...
Cahill could see the come up
Same person referred to Haaland as a League 2 player in his build up play, was a mediocre manager when he had the opportunities and this clip is more evidence of that. He was a terrific player, though.
Was a decent manager in all honesty, got some good results and flirted around premier league capable
No no. Physical player yes, terrific player?? Hmm I very much doubt that mate.
@@johna5368 a bad haaland year is still an incredible year for anyone elses standards
@@johna5368Roy Keane was definitely a terrific player. Stop clouding your judgement
A legendary footballer from a small footballing nation who played with fire, intelligence, and would never back down, dominating games in midfield.... and also there's Roy Keane I guess
Isn't Cahill a forward?
@@jagmaharesi2486 No, he was an 8, an attacking midfield player. He also had so much natural energy and aggression that he was also a decent 6, defensive midfielder.
@@jagmaharesi2486
Towards the end of his career, he spent more time up front.
He played as a striker for Australia.
But the other guy is right. Over his whole career, he was mostly a mid.
Well said Tim, done Keano up like a kipper there and he never even realised. 👏
When someone talks about ball knowledge this is what it means! Not many people possess this quality!
After that Man United win in 2020. Arteta went on a winless run for a month, so that win meant nothing and finished 8th in that same season and won nothing
Cahill obviously saw the big picture and the direction in which Arsenal were moving whereas Keane appeared to be myopic and focusing only on what was directly in front of him (with extreme recency bias).
Tim knew… Tim knew.
The problem is that managers are often not given enough time. Klopp, Guardiola and Arteta all had slow starts but they were given a chance and look at where that got them. The same is starting to happen with Pochettino now at Chelsea.
Well see@@tokingmadd
@@tokingmadd That's why. In his first season a lot was said that he could be fired, and now Chelsea have slowly achieved some results.

More Respect to Tim Cahill for being honest. ❤️Because even Arsenal legend would have bogged down to Legendary Roy Keane pressure
A guy who actually watches the game & provides some useful input vs another who's always going on about "HunGeR" "PasSIoN" "DeSIrE" & a bunch of other cliche terms along with the shouting & rambling. But that's what get's Sky their clicks.
None of the pundits that they bring on who actually dissect the game end up being there long term so I wasn't surprised that Cahill basically never got invited back onto the panel after this.
Cause they're the ones who bring in rating lol
@@jagmaharesi2486 yep, pretty much. That's the unfortunate state of affairs. Shouting & rambling gets more clicks over nuanced analysis & discussing actual tactics. But I feel like more & more people are getting bored of that format over time.
Should get Henry
Another Clear Reason why the British dont Have any successful Managers at Major Football Clubs, see Keane all in his Feelings, Neville always i his Feelings, cant even come up with a Footballing argument, probably how he talked to players, had nothing to say but Complain
Keane isn't British
Roy was too busy looking for an argument to understand Tim's point. I was wondering why he was so aggro until I saw the score in the corner. What's wrong Roy?Your buddy Ole had a bad day at the office?😂
nice to see Roy in punditry hasn't changed, gives almost nothing in analysis but hey at least he's honest! always been a mediocre pundit
I hope roy watched that back
His ego will convince him he's in the right still 😂
What's worse is Sky keep bringing these Yanited pundits back while Cahill hasnt been seen on Sky since this happened.
Because they care more about having former man united and Liverpool players or big names than actual good pundits
The duality of football fans:
One cares about results (Roy)
The other looks at the bigger picture and style of play (Tim)
And we still have roy keane and not cahill on sky sports...
Just because of his over the line statement that will create some news
And not cahill because he makes sense
Remember that part well! Cahill knew! He was right.
Can we please swap Tim Cahill for Keane, Carragher and Neville.
Cahill clearly knows the game better than the 3 of them combined.
Carra is still reasonable
@@jagmaharesi2486 he probably is better, but not by much, and not enough to not want to see him replaced with better commentators/analysts

"There's an identity"
Roy Keane: 😮💨
Can someone who knows Roy Keane show him this video please.
That angry man needs a bit of that humble pie.
Show him the video, he'd say show us your trophies
When people wonder why Roy struggles as a manager.
How the tables have turned 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Roy is massively missing the point Tim is trying to make. Tim was simply stating that Arsenal was showing an identity under Arteta. The rest is history.
Scary to that 2020 is now retro on this channel 0_0
'They know why they lost" is the best part of it
Impressed with Tims analysis as a fellow Aussie myself, also that hes standing up to Roy Keane aha
Us Aussies aren't scared of the Irish. Because most of us have that in our blood haha
@@StuTheDon17 True aha
Emotional Roy Keane. Definitely couldn't be a coach
Can somebody really explain to me why Roy Keane is always mad.
He holds grudges.
Hugely impressive from Cahill. Stuck to his guns. Keane’s short-term, results-today based thinking vs somebody who understands it takes time to mould a team, with consistency and a long-term vision.
Why is Keane always on as a pundit and Cahill isn’t? Keane got schooled here.
Roy is awful.
One person is talking sense, the other one is using his hate to put his point across.. Football punditry should have context , using people just cos they are legends of certain clubs shouldn't be the criteria to be a pundit. Sport channels need to do better, get people on there that will give unbias analysis to entertain and educate viewers.
They should show Roy that clip and see what he thinks now.🤔
Unfortunately, he never thinks
Cahill knows football unlike this guy who was chased at Sunderland.
Turns out Arsenal were to become the ‘new Bayern Munich’
Hala Madrid 🤍
Cahill is a much better pundit than Keane, Carragher and Neville. He also played the most recently so knows the modern game way better…
Yeah as an Aussie seems not that long ago he was still scoring headers vs Syria and the like, getting us to Russia 2018 aha. Prefer our efforts in Qatar but anyway on ur point- agree he knows it well the modern game
Go on Tim 🤌🏻
Roy Keane that's analysis...do your job!!!
Arteta got what he came for, to become the best and biggest manager at Arsenal.
Now with that out of his system, he can start winning his trophies for the next 20 years to come.
I always think about this
Would love to see him given more airtime, now that his analysis has proved to be true!
Instant Reaction Roy…
One seeing with tunnel vision and the other seeing the whole picture!
Love Tim Cahill absolute legend 💙💙
Roy Keane & Man Utd legends used to discredit Mikel Arteta when he started his managerial career. Because they knew what was building. 😂
The entire Arsenal team was poor vs United. It was just Saliba and Gabriel who were doing their job right. Even Rice was missing.
Roy Keane just hates Arsenal with a burning passion and refuses to admit that Arteta is one of the most promising young managers in the world
Perfect demonstration of how event based analysis is flawed.
Some context would've been great
They really hate any praise that isn't bigging UTD or Liverpool up. City have been so good for so long they have no choice but to praise them. Times have changed Liverpool have adapted well on and off the field but next year will be big change. Utd and gone backwards both on and off the field. Arsenal are solid and will be better next year but they'll have to start winning things. Newcastle are slowly and steadily growing. Spurs are spurs 😂. Chelsea are unknown but going to face violations so future tough for them.
Tim cahil is the kind of pundits sky sports need to hire not people like roy keane and jamie carragher who go on emotions and results they don't look deeper into football management and look at the positives even though the team lost.
Here's an idea sky sports, maybe hire pundits like cahill who actually know what theyre talking about instead of people like keane, neville etc who clearly dont have a clue
This just shows roy keane is there just for the banter
I remember watching this live at the time but Roy keane is a very bad football analyst though NGL.😮
Not one of Roys finer moments but to be fair there are a lot more examples where he has been accurate in his theory and analysis then when he's got it wrong
Pep said best about Keane "league 2 or 3 manager"
So, how many games did Arsenal loose?
Cahill knew exactly what he was talking about and has been proven right. Keane would not tolerate any opinion other than his own.
Now it's time to set the goal higher.
4 full seasons. 2 seasons runner up.
LOL at Keane, United have no identity.
Arsenal have come strong under Arteta
They can't even plug a hole in their roof the slackers. Dear Liza needs to have a word.
Roy is next manu manager make him he will relegate Manunited
He had his structure and system and not the players. Now he’s built a half decent team and will keep adding pieces to perfect it the next couple years.
Could go two ways, the next juggernaut or another klopp with one title
A high EQ against a low EQ
A perfect example that you can be an ex footballer but be a bad pundit
Cuts off before Redknapp can say something inane 😂
I think people just have to accept that pundits who played with the club are going to be biased. It's entertaining but you shouldn't take them too seriously.
This has aged well! No wonder Roy Keane was never a decent coach.
Damn, and this was back in 2020 - when arsenals results were really nothing to write home about.
They should bring cahill back as a pundit
This shows Roy Keane as a pundit 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Smart aussie
I love it. Man’s always angry at everything 😂💀
This has aged well
Roy Roy Roy, take some anger management classes man
Clear difference in knowing about something and just pretending to know when you clearly don't 😅
This man knows Ball
Bro knew
Aged well
Contrast this with what mourinho said about arteta, and you can see why he failed as a manager
Football knowledge vs football ball bias
Tim knows its a process. This current Arsenal team will eventually click into shape. Small forward steps again this season however it still not perfect ( Villa & Fulham😅) but not losing games against your title rivals (big 6😑) is progress. While salty rival fans not in the race convo will say they're bottle jobs even they know City are above everyone by far
Black and white Roy
Higher GD than Yanited has pts this season. COYG
Great player. That’s it
I like roy as a character, but he does have the most difficult time grasping simple concepts
