Someone once mentioned the reason why we’re able to sit on the Anemo archon’s statue in game is because it’s canon Venti likes to sit there and pretend he’s a sprite again in the hands of his dear old friend, the bard that inspired what it means to be free in Mondstadt. Dude I need emotional therapy after this I- 😭

Venti, Zhongli, and Ei have truly the saddest stories. All three of them lost something with every step in achieving progress, venti lost his bard friend, zhongli lost guizhong and Ei lost makoto. Considering they are immortal (being ageless) they must have developed huge survivor's guilt and for sure must have some levels of depression. Its strange humanizing godlike entities but its great food for thought.
Thing is they are not immortal. They are being chased by erosion and if not killed will lose their sanity and therefore memories.

Some people may forget but being immortal means that all other things die before you, thus all the archons in the game have most likely seen hundreds of friends die.... which has to have given them at least some lvl of depression
