I feel that this is actually a very important topic. If a guy wishes to be castrated it’s almost impossible for him to seek out safe surgery. We can get piercings, tattoos, plastic surgery and even sexual reassignment surgery, but not have an elective castration. I have spoken with my wife on many occasions that I think castration would be a good option for me as my sex drive is frankly, disturbing. I honestly feel this is a debate we need to have and society would be a better place if castration would be a voluntary option for those who want it.
although i must say there are easier solutions to that problem than castration... if you got castrated you would have to take at least low dose testosterone or estrogen replacement therapy, as having insufficient sex hormone levels leads to osteoporosis and crazy mood problems.
not trying to "trans" you or anything but you might want to look into selective antiandrogen drugs like finasteride/dutasteride (the anti balding drugs)
they will reduce your libido somewhat but not completely, as they only block DHT and not testosterone itself.
if you really wish for a lower testosterone level, its possible to acheive without castration.
also maybe consider why your sex drive disgusts you so much, ithinkyou should talk that over with an open minded therapist before going to non reversable options to treat it. but if the outcome of those discussions is still that you want chemical or physical castration, i think thats withinyour right
