RAMIN you're in our hearts. It's rough stuff but don't get distracted from recovering; your body needs it. Chin up, don't push it, still go out and have fun being a part of the group, and a year will fly by. As someone who spent a year supporting my team on the sidelines in a back brace, there's still a lot of fun memories to be made.
lads, a suggestion. if one of you makes a run forward from defense someone needs to track back and cover that players mark/position because in division 1 those transitions can happen so fast that if your defender who made a run forward gets caught in a quick transition they've most likely left their man wide open and a 2 v 1 situation happens.
keep talking to each other during the game also. communication can be such a game changer!

Yeah, they need to up their work rate and have more urgency in defence. They give the other team too much space at times, too much ball watching. A couple of tweaks and I think they'd be very competitive in Div 1.
@@dans5529dunno if you’ve ever played 7’s but it’s pretty hard to play man-to-man the full game with no subs
@@danielkreft6992 Yeah, it's true that they had no subs in this game which definitely makes it more difficult, but I'm actually referring to their performances in general. I watched them last season in Div 1 and it was the same thing. They lack a bit of urgency and physicality. For example, an opponent will be advancing forward in their half and they'll keep backing off and give him the time and space to get a shot off instead of pressing him. I think it's more of a mental thing than a lack of ability on their part. I think they have the technical ability to win Div 1, but they need a bit more self belief and grit. Otherwise they'll get run through by more physical teams like they did in this game.

For Ramin: Having recovered from major knee surgery myself if you do put in the work you will come back stronger and smarter, and you will have a new appreciation for the game and the work you can put in to be fitter and stronger. You can do it, it's going to be hard, lean into the discomfort and let it teach you.

Agree about Theo, he's a class player but he takes unnecessary risks. I think Uriel definitely has the potential to be a top striker, but he's still young and needs a bit more experience under his belt.

Ramin stay strong my guy, be patient and you'll get there. I tore my ACL in 2022, it took me a year and a half to start playing again and now two years later I'm finally feeling confident again. Keep your friends and family close because the mental toll is the hardest part. Wish you the best!
So pleased you guys take the time to acknowledge Ramin's injury and get him to open up about it. It's an important message. Having had several over the years, the support of my team mates got me through. Hope his recovery goes well.

Someone please tell Ramin to look into healing his ACL without surgery. I tore mine back in January and am following a rehab protocol to encourage it to heal. The latest research has shown even grade 3 tears can heal on their own! I hope Ramin sees my comment before he is told surgery is the only option like I was. There are no guarantees with rehab but it should be everyones first step before even considering surgery!

Stay strong Ramin, and head up. I just had reconstruction surgery on my ACL and meniscus after tearing it playing football as well about a month ago. It’s a physically and mentally challenging recovery process. You’ll feel like giving up, but keep your head up. I’m 6 weeks post surgery and it’s still a battle, but I’ve made a lot of progress in physical therapy, and overall health. Good luck man and hope nothing but the best 🙏 0:22
I know how you feel Ramin, i had a back injury and was out the game for a year. I was gutted at first, but i used that time to work on myself and plan my comeback, now thats all behind me, my backs stronger than ever, and i feel like i learned something about acceptance and patience. Rooting for you mate, as are we all 👍

Ramon stay strong and do it day by day. It took me 2-3 years to come back physically and mentally. I also tore both the mcl and acl. Don’t stress it. Take care of it because at 30ish you’ll have it revisited.

Sorry to hear it Ramin. I tore my rotator cuff once upon a time ago, took a long time but I didn't listen to advice. My kid tore her mcl tho, listened to advice and is back to playing. Do the physical therapy, listen to your doctor, you'll be back at it. Speedy recovery bro

Stay strong Ramin! I’ve been through an ACL reconstruction and it’s not pretty but stick with the exercises they give you post surgery and you’ll be back to full fitness within 18 months! 🤝

First game back in Div 1 was always going to be a step up but to do it without subs was just too much. I'm starting to sound like Luke's cheerleader but well done that lad for not letting his head drop, big things from him this season. 💜💪

Believe me I’ve had my acl and meniscus teared 2x, don’t be too quick with playing again! Your knee will probably never be the same as before so keep that in mind. Going through this whole process two times has drained me of my happiness. Wait a year minimum and always listen to the feeling of your own knee and not only to the time lines the doctors give you.
