I knew this had to be a thing. I was gonna make a regular sweet potato pie, but regular pie crust is too boring to me, & i thought i need graham cracker crust! So i searched for sweet potato cheesecake, & found this. It's looks so good, I'm gonna try it. Thanks for the recipe!

Just a question, the ingredient list calls for a pinch of salt for the crust but I didn't see you mixing it in during the video, just wanted to confirm it's still required. Thanks!

@@paulandbenny 3 months later and I finally came around to trying your fabulous recipe. Not bad for my first cheesecake ever 🙌 my husband is a chef in Hell’s Kitchen and said it’s delicious! Sharing with family and coworkers 👏 I personally didn’t add the pumpkin pie spice (will try it next time and let you know) and only used 1.5 tsp cinnamon. Even with these adjustments it was superb. I’m thinking of making it my traditional Fall/Thanksgiving dessert. Thanks for sharing!

hey so my girlfriend made it yesterday but she said it was a little "thick" but still very very good i loved it but is there anything you would suggest to make it more "lighter" or "airy"?.. it was super good though we both like that its not super sweet. thanks again!

Great point- Some people beat the egg whites until they have soft peaks, then fold them into the rest of the batter to lighten it up . It gives it an airy-er texture. It takes an extra couple minutes, but it's worth it. 👍
Good question. I've replaced some of the milk with sour cream in other cheesecakes and it came out great. I haven't tried with this recipe, but I'm assuming it will be fine👍

I had no pumkin pie spice so i just added ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon but it was still great except that the pie wasn't super soft enough because i baked it like an hour or less, next time i would buy the pumkin spice and will bake it for 25 minutes then it's gonna be perfect

I wanted to take the time to reach out to you and tell you that sweet potato cheesecake turned out absolutely not only beautiful, but amazing and taste. My sister even took an extra time to reach out to me and you gotta know she’s a major Baker. Anyway, she took the time to reach out to me and said.” oh my god that cheesecake is amazing.”. So it was a win-win. Thank you again. I’ve already looked up how to make graham crackers homemade I’m gonna start doing that and freezing them. Because everything I looked at was enriched flour, which is not healthy for us at all. And I’m a big-time advocate on Health. And there was no organic ones available at the store where I was. I also know that I can reduce the sugar in this as well and still give it an amazing flavor and I’m also going to add some Chia seeds pecans to the sweet potato for more nutritional value. I didn’t want to mess with it. The first go around because I needed to see what it was going to do how it was going to act and what kind of flavors it was gonna have. Now it is an amazing, amazing recipe. I’m just going to throw in nutritional value. Anyway, thanks again my friend that was bad ass. Have an amazing day.👊💖
And I should say more nutritional value. We know the sweet potatoes nutritional. I can add extra by Millie, my own flour and making my own Graham crackers and all the things that I listed above and we already know that sweet potato is super healthy for us. She said the boys were fighting over the last piece of cheesecake.🤣 anyway and it freezes well there’s no reason to have to wait till holidays to make this gorgeous recipe. And I serve it to myself along side organic salted caramel ice cream. Of course all my ingredients that go into my pie are also organic just because I like to stay away from round up or anything else it is nasty industry throw it is. But that recipe is a keeper sweetie. Thank you again💪💖

Good question. I used salted butter. I should have mentioned that. All the butter I use is salted.

Good question. I've replaced some of the milk with sour cream in other cheesecakes and it came out great. I haven't tried with this recipe, but I'm assuming it will be fine👍

Great question. Yes. When I made it for the video, I sliced it up after, froze it and took slices to family the next week. It freezes wonderfully.
