    I have a contract on the October slot. Really excited for it. One error that I keep seeing in the video presentations by Romain and FP is the optional engine upgrade size. They keep mentioning that the upgraded Yanmar is the 45hp when in actuality it is the bigger 57hp. I mentioned the discrepancy today with ACY and they confirmed the 57hp. Thanks for posting the video, as I don't currently have much else to look at! I will also have my 2023 Isla40, nicely equipped, for sale shortly. Listing coming soon. Cheers!

      I heard! Congratulations guys! You are going to love her. I was talking with Jamie this morning about your Isla. I just sold a nice 2020 Lucia and I have a couple of people who missed that one that could be interested in yours.

    Great video.
    1. What are the dimensions of the trampolines (each). I wonder someone can lie flat on it ?
    2. What are the dimensions of the kids' beds ? Are they suitable for adults ?
    3. Is there an option for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom configuration like the new 41. Its a brilliant option. I mean who needs 3 or 4 heads. Two large heads are more than enough. At least this should be made available as an option as it would reduce the tight feeling around the guest cabins

      Thanks you for watching!
      Great questions. We still have limited info as they have not even built hull #1 yet so I'll do my best to answer.
      1. Tampolines - I do not have t his info yet. Hull #1 will be available for us to see in June/July and I can check then. They look smaller than the on on the Elba and Astrea
      2. It does not look like it. I think if you wanted room for adults forward the 4 cabin would be the best option.
      3. Likely we can custom order that. Its not on the price sheet but FP has a custom options department now for requests like this.

    Nice video.
    Looks like they’re sharing up the lineup.
    41 to replace the 40 and 42
    44 to replace the 45
    What do you think they’ll do with the Tanna? A new 48 with dual aft doors (like you can get on the 51) would be interesting.

    • @jamestiernanyachts9021
      @jamestiernanyachts9021  4 дня назад +1

      You know I thought a new 48 would have come before the 41 or the 44 so I agree that it's likely next. It would be so cool to see the aft access with the owners berth shifted facing onboard completely like on the 51. No idea do they have the space to do it but it would be awesome! It could be a 46 also..... time will tell! Thanks for watching.

      @cimota72 День назад +1

      @ I think we're in agreement. The Tanna is probably too new to be replacing just yet...with a full order book and a heap of them for sale. As for room - defintootly. The thing I love about the 47 is the extra bunk room which they've put into the 44!

    • @jamestiernanyachts9021
      @jamestiernanyachts9021  15 часов назад

      @@cimota72totally agree. The Tanna has always been my favorite for:
      - Forward workshop/spare room in starboard hull
      - Large Fuel and Water capacity
      - Huge storage space
      - Sails great and easy for two people

    I love the option of the 'kids bunk room' in the owners' suite, would be perfect for my 6yo who wouldn't want to sleep clear across in the other hull. But it sure seems like the tradeoff is a big step down from the spacious shower in the owner's suite that some of the other models feature. I wonder how small it feels compared to the old style, or compared to the showers in a 'regular' sized head. Certainly something to check out once there is a hull available to tour in person

      You are not the first person to say this. We are working with FP on an idea of an offering that would see that forward cabin being a really nice shower/laundry room. That would be super cool! Not sure what the odds of this happening are but I think it will.

    What are the downsides of the integrated solar panels ?

    • @jamestiernanyachts9021
      @jamestiernanyachts9021  5 дней назад +1

      @@karenbaselgia659 personally I am a fan, and I would opt to have them. The downsides are the cost for the power the generated. Due to the shade in that area of the boat from rigging etc they are not as efficient as the solar arches you will see a lot of boats fitted with, aft, over hanging above the dinghy.
      If it were my choice I would do the integrated solar, add a hard Bimini with more integrated solar here. This would give around 2,300 watts which should be more than enough need. Maybe I would consider integral also if I was trying to avoid the generator.

    • @karenbaselgia659
      @karenbaselgia659 5 дней назад +1

      @@jamestiernanyachts9021we definitely would want to avoid a generator. The shading would be an issue though. I have to do more research. I would have an arch or the integrated probably not both on the 41 we are interested in

      @ I help a family order and Isla 40 and have enough solar and battery to not need a generator. It’s getting more popular. If you’d like pictures or details drop me an email and I would be happy to send them over.

    You have got it all wrong , its a replacement for the Astrea 42 not the Elba 45

    • @dgfreshx
      @dgfreshx 4 дня назад +1

      it feels more like a direct replacement for the Helia 44, which the Elba 45 sorta tried to do. I could see either way?

    • @jamestiernanyachts9021
      @jamestiernanyachts9021  4 дня назад

      HI Rob. Thanks for your feedback. Technically, we are both incorrect... it is not replacing the 42 or the 45. FP is making a change across the whole line, and this sits between the 42 and the 45. I personally think this will be too strong of an offering when compared against the Elba. Considering the price difference, new design and what seems like almost the same interior volume and deck space I see it being a super strong competitor to the Elba, in fact I suspect the Elba production would will soon end and a new model 46-48 will be coming down the line. In total speculation but that's what I am thinking. Also I think the 41 totally competes and compares to the Astrea more than this 44 does. Thanks again for watching and interacting!
