    what makes you think Corvette racing has a big budget, if anything Team Corvette has the smallest budget. They run at a disadvantage using a single cam V-8. They've never had a performance adjustment, Corvettes just keep improving on what they got. The heart of Chevrolet power plant & a even 50/50 weight distribution.

      If only all tarmac track racing could be as exciting and as dramatic as this one, fantastic drives from both team's, the Aston driver's sure put the pressure on that vette driver, they forced him into making huge mistakes to defend his lead, its a good job that exit route was there because he braked way to late to make that corner he would of crashed otherwise.

      Nust Ered no it was the last corner but on the lap before the last lap. So he still had a chance of winning if he didnt overtake him there. But that would be literally the fucking greatest battle i have seen in my life. Imagine a last lap last corner overtake to the first place in a 24h race.

      asterik what ? the tires going - dea Aston pushed them to overdrive. IF Corvette hads stopped to change 5 laps earlier they wouldn't have been in first. or another whine about power - all the companies have power restricted, except maybe Porshe.

    • @richardg6983
      @richardg6983 6 лет назад +6

      +Rick C Actually the Aston had been on its tires for 16 laps (before the battle) while the corvette was only on 11. I assume the corvettes off-road excursions had something to do with it

    This was a Chevrolet win ! Obvious the fluky bad luck on tyres kept the leading car back from the win. That AM was so close to the Corvette proves Aston Martin is a good car ! :) (too bad it needed chev to get a tire puncture in order to get ahead

    • @subconscious.com_usa6691
      @subconscious.com_usa6691 4 года назад +12

      The Aston's put the pressure on him to be fair, they forced him into making mistakes to defend his lead, if that exit route wasn't there he would of crashed, he brake way to late to make that corner he had no choice but to go down the exit route, his nerves got the better of him, but the puncture didn't really happen until the Aston was in the lead, he actually cut another corner and hit the rumble strip to try and catch up, its racing unfortunately when both cars and drivers are closely matched like these 3 , its the driver who keeps his cool who wins, the vette driver perhaps could of won if he could of handle the situation a lot better but we will never know

    • @Chris-zi4mo
      @Chris-zi4mo 3 года назад +1
