For anyone wondering how do this websites have millions to pay influencers is because thay pay little to no tax and have a fraction of the expenses of a regular casino. And if I were a very skeptical guy, I would say that this type of online casino that has proven to be able to modify your balance at a whim might be a cool way to launder and transfer drug/crime money overseas. Because you can track crypto transactions on the blockchain, the online crypto casinos can be used to launder and transfer that money to anoter wallet w/o a direct transaction!

I remember back when the whole hype around CS:GO gambling was around. Back then I was only around 12-13, and I sadly got caught up in the mindset that since the RUclipsrs I watched earned big money (I was easily influenced), it would be possible for me too. So, I began gambling. And guess what? The majority of times I gambled, I lost. By the end of around 2016-17, I had lost over 2000$ in total (which is an insane amount of money for me, especially since I was so young) and was treading on the line of becoming a gambling addict. Luckily with some of my last rational thoughts and with some help from my parents, I managed to stop having the urge to gamble, after all the access to the sites I knew were blocked by my father. Although it took about a whole year to stop having urges, I overcame them. My hatred for sites like these are immeasurable.
My heart goes out to those not fortunate enough to have overcome the urges or have had their lives ruined by casinos, whether they be online or not.

but seriously, watching porn and strippers without recognizing it as porn because they got strings on and ask money is kinda worrying - as is watching gambling advertisements as content without recognizing them as advertisements.
like.. even by just reading Sinuhe the Egyptian you should learn that simping your familys money out to some pretty lady who just wants your money is not a good way to go and it's predatory to be doing that to young males - and math lessons should teach why the universe doesn't care that you 'feel lucky' and biology and psych lessons should cover the addiction loop of gambling(and how expensive way it is to get a shot of high).

You actually missed a major point in this video. Unlike real world regulated casinos, everything on the digital casinos are generated by computers and not bounded by physical limitations. This means all the numbers you see can be literally precisely set up and faked, including prizes, wins, losses, account balances, etc. Those streams are sponsored by those shady unregulated websites and the operators have full control of the systems. It's not unlikely that those accounts are specifically set up with balances, private games, probabilities or even win/loss sequences pre-arranged for the streams. This is one of the major factors people fall for this -- they don't know those websites are absolutely not analogs of real world casinos. Not even close.

Well, at least we understand why people call them DEGENERATE GAMBLERS. I'm 55 yo and have seen people blow the house payment in a poker machine. It's tragic. And it hurts. Because you know it's not the asshat who pays, it's the spouse and kids who ultimately are hurt the most. There is nothing wrong with having a flutter as it were. The annual trip to Preakness. The annual vacation to Vegas or AC. Things like that are fine. Just so it's not a daily weekly or monthly thing. And truth is, I'd rather be sailing, having a dinner out or traveling.

Just imagine the utter devastation this sort of degenerate gambling will sow!
It’s one thing to have to get in a plane and fly the Vegas to lose the kid’s college fund but totally something else to sit in a basement for hours upon hours feeding the beast with every last dollar you can get your hands on!
This is the definition of a really bad idea…
    Great video Spencer!

I'm an old school gambler. I only gamble on felt with a real wheel, dice or cards and a human dealer. NEVER gamble online, or with software.

I’m not a gambler but I’ve been working in the industry for 12 or so years now and a lot of my job has to do with compliance. I can tell you, an online gambling company with a decent license would never even think about onboarding players from forbidden countries, especially the US, because that’s a sure way to get a massive fine, get in legal trouble, or right out lose your license to operate. Curaçao is far from a reputable license, though, and if you’re smart you’ll never deposit money to a Curaçao-licensed operator. Reputable regulators aim to protect players by, for example, ensuring that games of chance are fair (they verify that the RNG really is random and not rigged to benefit the house, for example), winnings are paid out, the operator complies with AML standards and so on. Curaçao does none of that, but is considerably cheaper and easier to obtain than a proper license.

as someone who is from california and now has lived in vegas for off and on since 2010.......i rarely gamble, back in cali i would go to jackson and play blackjack and i decided to learn to count cards so i spent a bunch of time to learn to count. just about every time i went to jackson i made money and lost like once. im pretty sure the dealers knew what i was doing and none of them cared as long ass i wasnt on the big tables. i mostly went because my friends were addicted to poker but i never found that kind of thing towards gambling. living in vegas i really learned how gambling can take your life away

They can preach all they want to their audiences to not gamble because you will lose, but kids listen to no one when they hear negatives. The streamers saying don't gamble are fooling themselves if they think their message will sink in.

RUclips should stop people being able to advertise gambling to people under 18. I don't expect it will happen.

before the internet people maybe knew celebrities and athletes those type of rich people. Now it's like social media exists to make sure you feel bad about the life you live and MAKE SURE you see all these "influencers living their best life". It might be the greatest scam of all time.

a lot of the streamers you said where lejit also took poker sponsorships , which is just as bad due to only 30% of people who play poker break even and 10% lose money.

Lol, did anyone catch that. The company is licensed in Curacao but is unable to provide online gambling in that same country.
