Would you post the recipe for the homemade laundry soap? I would check it out! Or perhaps the link you found.

I’m going to make a short next time I make it so it’s easy to find!
It’s 3 parts washing soda, 3 parts baking soda, 1 part epsom salt. So for a small batch you could do 1.5 Cups washing soda and baking soda, and 1/2 cup of epsom salt. You can also add some essential oil to your mix if you like your laundry to have a scent!

Ah, I have so many questions, but here are just a few!
So a lot of this are things you don’t use/want, (such as makeup, perfume, etc.) so it’s easy for you to do! I’ve tried doing my own nails they look horrible, and the polish chips the next day. 🥺
So if you don’t have a purse and use your diaper bag… What if you go to a wedding for example and you’re not bringing your baby? What do you use for a purse?
And if you don’t buy office supplies… pens, paper, envelopes etc. 😮Where do you get them? Because if you take them from your office…that’s stealing (lol..just saying!)
I take whatever free pens I can get at places, but I do have to buy paper and envelopes for example …

Oh gosh, if your nail polish chips the next day, it's either curing badly or you got a terrible brand. I've used even extremely old ones and they've lasted 1 or 2 weeks. Have you looked up the reviews for your nail polish before purchasing?

I don’t go many places without my kids, especially not anywhere fancy. If I do, I’m pretty minimal and don’t need more than my phone and a few cards so I either just hold it or have my husband stick it in his pocket! I haven’t had a purse since highschool and just haven’t felt the need for one.
That’s the case for office supplies too. We have compiled enough free pens over the years to last a lifetime and we don’t do anything that we’d need paper or envelopes for so we just go without. I promise we’re not stealing anything 😂 just lead a life where some things aren’t ever necessary!

I second this! Quality over quantity is the way to go. I really only ever paint my nails one color if I’m going to paint them at all, so I spend a few dollars more to get something quality that will stay put!

For hats, it sounds like you live somewhere warm, I need at least two knit hats just to stay warm, lol!
I can't agree with you more on candles though. I've gotten like 10 gifted to me so far, and I haven't used any of them.
But for makeup, you're not really missing out. You can sink hundreds into it and just look very fake. I think it's a waste of time, and I'm great at things like stage makeup.

I live in Utah, it gets pretty cold during the winter, but never too far into the negatives! I have a beanie that I was gifted for Christmas years ago and that’s all I’ve needed!

what hobbies do you invest in?

    • @ashlyn-marie
      @ashlyn-marie  9 месяцев назад +1

I’d say I invest time into my hobbies more than money. I like cooking and baking, going for walks outside, sewing and embroidery, and playing a few instruments. There are hobbies that cost money I’d like to explore at some point, but for now I’m content to stick with what I’m doing.
I’d love to know what hobbies you’re investing in!
