How do you feed a bigger family healthy food while trying to stick to a budget? What about food allergies or autoimmune issues? Specialty foods get so pricey.

Many Chick fil A locations offer FREE COLLEGE AND MASTERS DEGREES through Point University online if you just work three shifts per week! Includes an MBA!

We have done a no spend month a couple of times. I am always surprised at the end of the month how much money we have left over. It makes me realize I am clearly spending money on things we don't need and I need to be more conscious of where, when and what I spend my money on. And if it is truly needful.

We do the Christmas book advent calendar as well. A few years ago i made draw string bags for them to reuse instead of wrapping them. It saved me so much wrapping paper!

The U of U usually has volunteer doulas. They are women working towards certificates who want to help support you in the birth you want. It isn't always the same as picking exactly who you want, but it is an amazing option for expectant mother's on a budget.

Thank you for sharing this. I know, everything is just too expensive nowadays. We compared our walmart cart from before 2020 and placed those same items this year 2024; and the price is almost doubled from 2020. That is like almost 100% increase. Just crazy.

How many people are earning in the household? Also, one kid? Two kids?

I'd highly recommend the Eat Smarter Family Cookbook by Shawn Stevenson! The meals are incredibly healthy, and relatively affordable in my opinion. You can listen to Shawn's story on a podcast episode with Ed Mylett - it's pretty awesome!

Our town has a give and take. People drop of produce they have a lot of and people can come and grab it for free. Some times there are fresh eggs as well! It is one of my favorite ways to save money in during the summer!

I love historical museums. They are always free and there is usually one in every city/town! I also love community choir and Orchestra concerts!
