- This was supposed to be a short little video starting from a parking lot and hiking up a hill to a knotted tree!! well........ we did that, sort of lol. join me (after I wake up) and we can talk about some legends and Lores of a few places in mill creek park. we start at witches' cave, cross over the silver bridge, make our way past the flats and finally up to what I think is one of the most spectacular trees in the park!! the end will bring some nostalgia to all of the Youngstown natives!! see ya on the trail!!!
Your videos scenery bringing a lot of memories I do miss it there
Glad I can get those memories moving for Ya!!! thanks for watching!!
Remember my uncles DRAGGING me on the "ROCKO PLANES" when i was around 9-10yrs. old. Scared the crap outta me, made them laugh! I'll never forget it. Thanks
Hey!! LOL, I had the same experience as a matter of fact!! Glad I could help you relive some memories! thanks for watching!!
That brickwork that you saw was where the witches cave was. We went in there alot back in the 1960's until they sealed it up I guess because of safety concerns.
hey thanks for watching! I have heard stories in the past of people getting stuck and lost lol (legends and lores).. never had to chance to experience it..... thanks again!!
That was a really cool chain linked bridge. I wonder if it actually flexed on those points. Burls can also start off as Chaga. ;)
I would think they probably did back in the day, which would have been awesome to see when a horse and buggy crossed! Yess!!!! I forgot about chaga... thanks for the input Scott and thanks for watching as well!
Hey thanks Jim!!! I’m here watching one of your past videos and it gave me a missing puzzle 🧩 piece I’ve been searching for , which is the location of Idora park 🙂🙂🙂 funny thing is , I was just up in that area of “The MCP” last weekend doing what you mentioned in this video (biking the east cohasset hike/bike trail) it’s a good bike workout up & down up& down (think it was a little over 2 miles) (one way) oh and I also discovered that exact tree with the big knot in it , on that day lol anyway thanks again , and keep up with the awesome videos ✌🏻
