She makes it look deceptively easy, but this is something to inspire us and aim for.

Does sun style mean that he combined all 3 internal arts into routine ?

I looked up Sun Lutang on Wikipedia and there is an interesting article on him and his style there, with a link to an article on the Hao (Wu) style of tai chi he studied. It’s generally believed that Sun’s style incorporates elements from his Bagua and Xing Yi, but also maybe Hao style itself is just different to begin with. Hopefully Sifu Wu will tell us in the class starting next week. It’s going to be both online and in person, and I’m looking forward to it.

Are you going to teach a class soon? Will it be online or in person or both? What if I miss a live streaming class, is there a way to watch it later?

How can this be for beginners when you cant even see the legs???

Hi Kong - Thank you for your question. The form is a beginner form. This is a demo video, which shows how the entire form looks but it is not an instructional video.
In our instructional videos, we give both detailed instruction of each of the forms and show the forms multiple angles showing both hand and foot movements.
We are working on an instructional video for the Sun-Style Tai Chi 24 Form - you can check out our available instructional videos on our vimeo page vimeo.com/aminwutaichi/vod_pages or on our website www.wuamintaichi.com/video-products/

@Tricia I thought the same thing, but I took her Form 10 and Form 24 Yang Style form, and spent Spring 2021 into the Fall 2021 learning the forms. Just take your time, and do it step by step; keep repeating that until you are ready for the next postures. I'm learning the Chen style now, and same thing, I'm having difficulties, but I am taking my time, that's the key. Take your time, and don't move forward until you have the movements memorized.

Tricia, I agree with Olie. Take your time and don't be discouraged. Tai Chi is a lifelong journey. I have been taking instruction from Master Wu for almost two years and every day I realize how much there is to learn and how much I don't know. I have probably done the Yang 24 Form over 700 times and still believe I need more perfection in the movements... it keeps me coming back for more. 🙂 You can do it!!
