I wonder what her real personality is like. There were times I thought she's softer than Gail. Towards the end of this clip I see differently. Audrey is one who diffuses situations, avoids being melodramatic but lays down a FIRM set of rules with a zero nonsense approach.
When it comes to drug addictions or causing harm to love ones as a result of drugs, kicking a child out is the best course to send a message that you never enable druggies. My late mom had to do the same thing to my younger brother during the late 1990s as a result of drug addiction which led to money and possessions being stolen, truancy problems in school, sneaking into the house early in the morning, irregular sleeping patterns, and caused considerable grief. The strategy worked as he stopped taking drugs, got his life back in order, eventually had a middle class life, and got married.

@SxmplyElla sorry for the late reply but darryl (davids next door neighbour and close mate) comforted david and kinda took the blame for what happened to bethany (when she accidentally swallowed a friend of darryl’s ecstasy pill/tablet). luckily in the end she was fine but david on the other-hand, was in deep trouble and darryl supported him w that (along w his gran audrey and a few others). that’s y they wish darryl would return n so do i. luckily they didn’t make a storyline where he was killed as he simply made a short exit over 2 years later so who knows... maybe he could return? after all, it would be rlly good and would probably reel a good few ppl in to watch the show although, he wasn’t a main character. sorry ik it was long however, that was an explanation on why they wanted darryl to return... so do i :).

@@weepingangel6805 take in to account how he is practically a scapegoat to the family, gets neglected, he was literally almost murdered twice and did not have any therapy. He was slowly becoming a sociopath but after Tina and Kylie he toned down way more

But the way Gail is talking as is that was the last straw when majority of the times David acted up was all down to her. He even tries to commit suicide by driving his car into then canal later on, they try play it off as it was apart of his scheming but that just makes no sense especially after everything that was going on and the last voice recording he makes plus him playing the you and me song that Richard played when he drove them into the canal
