It might be one year later late, but Akuma's RA on hit is lethal. When at 1 HP, cannot be avoided by jumping or in midair.

@@The_Algae destroyed no, more like sunk a Island. If it were destroyed, everything around it would be gone as soon that punch landed. Crumbling into a million pieces. Goku from dbz for example cell blast Island's just like the one akuma was on. But by throwing a ki blast, but akuma has ki aswell inside him by using his fist. Cell destroy's it, it disappeared. Akuma hits it, it still there but slowly disappear sinking under water.

if you use EWGF when he teleports close to you, you can a punish it without fear. use EWGF and get free damage.

This is what happens then, CH d/f+2 > PEWGF > EWGF > b4 > 1,2,4,3 > Rage Drive

Akuma's focus attack can also be ducked and punished easily. At first I remember getting destroyed by him but you can easily avoid and counter fire ball and counter with Kaz's f cd 3 or do the easy command version to jump over Akuma's fireball if your execution is not good enough. Akuma's fireballs are actually unsafe against Kaz unless he's full screen and even then you can read and hit him with a flying laser. The AI reacts and does the same moves, I didn't even know how to use Kazuya and I beat Akuma with him on hard.

shenell johnson Sure, but we all know that Asura has been dumbed down to even fight Oni Akuma. I mean...if you already know Asura's full extent, then you already know who would win even with a "plot stalemate".
And these feet slide push back are weak, Asura would punch Kazuya many football fields away through 3 buildings.
Kazuya's fight with Asura would be on a much grander scale.
