I totally agree 100% with the idea of investing where you’re living longer. These things of staying abroad in terrible life and only come to your Ugandan comfortable house for weeks or one month--no. Am abroad & am doing exactly that; living comfortably abroad and investing here. If i ever retire to Uganda, I’ll come & buy a house i want when retired🤸🏼
The truth your talking but it doesn't work for all. Munage bwebogera naye ekitusesa most of them do what you said naye in a month badukayo emisinde. You can't leave your 20 to thirty years in Europe nolowoza mbu you can go back and stay in uganda nebwozimba your the best house kizibu
Eeh,to be honest some people are really blessed from their childhood to adulthood.. Banange it's really costly to invest in real estate in Europe.. salute miss Shamim nze nzikiriza . watching from Ibiza Spain 📍🇺🇬🇪🇸
I congratulate her because regardless of how she obtained the property, you can see the wisdom and commitment to manage it. I also like her approach on why she is not investing in Uganda. But, elusive answers to key questions: 1. What were the challenges in the beginning? Reply: Language and then elusion 2. How did you make it ? Reply: total elusion but she hinted on having just started developing herself ( 8 years ago although she has lived in German for 22 years). 3. In short, you are self employed. Reply: Not really and elusion. I believe an educative and inspirational program like this, needs transparency and total honesty. Otherwise, people will harbour unrealistic expectations.
She was supposed to say that she inherited the business from the late German husband and currently taking good care of it but she was wanted us to believe that she started the business yet she can’t explain honestly how it started. Thank you for the observation.
This program is quite an inspiration . A very well organized, focused, hard worker. Education and exposure to other countries is a necessity to succeed. This lady is amazing. Transparent and truthfulness is a must. Back home most of the above almost doesn't exist. Thank you Shamim and Faruk for sharing this.
Everybody is given omukisa or opportunity by life, but the difference is the person attitude and behaviour when that opportunity comes. How do we use our opportunity? Some of us misuse our mukisa because we have a bad attitude, bad thinking , bad advice, not believing in ourselves., self pity attitude, victim mentality etc. We kill our own opportunity or mukisa. Believe in yourself., have a good attitude to everyone and everything you approach.🙏

Atleast she didn't sell them eventhough she inherited them, do you know that just having them and updating them is also a blessing and a hustle too. maintaince of a property in Europe is not easy. Apart from that, I know many African women who inherited properties sold them got young men and chopped all the money and now they are back mubibala penniless. So I commend her for being hardworking and down to earth

Very good point. Diasporans should concentrate on investing in treasury bonds in Uganda. Everything else should be for where you are living.

Many people don’t understand that! You’re spot on.
It's like people from the Western world; they make themselves as comfortable as possible wherever they live.
