Better than Bocelli's version, but there's still a ways to go to catch up with what Pavarotti did. Were you working from Pavarotti's ideas? There are some quite sudden forte-piano transitions and you hit them well, but Pavarotti did so a little more emphatically on most occasions. I think that's where he gets the intense air of reverence from. Ok *taptaptap* from the top, a one a two a three..
Srsly tho, a beautiful rendition that holds true to the music. A surprise, too, because I was expecting your next track to be jazzy. Love your stuff. :)

Beautiful playing, and interesting use of a Bach prelude as backing. I only know the Schubert version of Ave Maria, this was something different. Very nice

This was beautiful. My son played Ave Maria with his flute and a pianist accompaniment yesterday at his Grandfather’s funeral. The entire congregation was in tears. Beautifully done. Absolutely beautiful.

I recommend practicing dynamics and character. Play every scale like it's a symphony, make every note unique in feel, stuff like that. Other than that and general practice, I don't know what would help. I've never actually made honour band, but I've heard other people's auditions who did get in and we have the same idea of what to do. Best of luck to you, and keep on keeping on!
