Danshi Koukousei wouldn't be the same without this song. The "bad" singing is legitimately adorable, and the instrument parts are incredible. The complex indie-esque bassline also brings to mind the nostalgic feeling associated with Japanese alt-rock, which gives a massive boost to the faux-amateurish vocals already evoking that same feeling.

It's evident in this song, especially in the chorus, but it's not bad in any way and is a type of musical style, but it can sound unusual. It definitely works here and gives it charm.
This is one of my favorite japanese bands, its just a group of friends making fun songs and I LOVE the vibe it brings when hearing your music: I had no idea this song was for an anime too, I'll absolutely have to watch it now

某アニメでこの曲を聴いたときは、あまりにも作品とマッチしてるので、その番組のために作ったユニットの曲でクレジットも誰かの変名に違いないとか思ってたら、当初タイアップ採用されるはずだった人たちがワケあり降板したんでピンチヒッターとして採用された、という経緯をついさっき知って、世の中何が起きるかワカラナイもんだなあと思った。降板した人たちには申し訳ないが、この曲が採用されたのは大正解で、こういうミラクルがあるんならタイアップも悪くない。
castroganga 1話目のEDが間に合わなかったのはそういう理由だったからなんですね
あまり有名じゃないのが悔しいぐらいに好き。
「息をしていれば それで十分」という歌詞に妙に納得した。生きていれば会えるということという考えで暇な自分の考えが変わった。
