Hey I love your videos ! I’m applying to do interior design at uni this year . Please would you do a video on what to include in your first portfolio ? Xxxxx
Hey, sorry to ask, but I’m searching for infos about the performance of the Sketchup at the Macbook, so can you tell me your Macbook model and storage and if it works good and all? I’m an Interior Design student as well, but here in Brazil people use Windows mostly, but as I already have an iPhone and iPad, I think a Macbook would fit better for me.
Honestly for design I’d recommend windows for a few reasons. 1. As you said most people use windows where you are which is the case in most institutions and industry workplaces in the uk as well, by you buying a windows laptop/pc makes communication and transfers between you and other designers much easier and compatible. 2. Running other CAD/illustrating programmes, most CAD packages cannot be run on IOS and the ones that can generally tend to require other paid for software, which is expensive not to mention the storage space. 3. Again your institution/workplace will most likely use windows meaning being taught how to use the programmes would be more difficult as they differ slightly between iOS and windows. 4. Price, obviously I have no idea what you financial situation is but if you’re a student your money goes further with a windows laptop or PC than an Apple Mac. I studied Product design not only every lecturer I’ve ever spoken to warned us not to buy a Mac but every other design student who had one complained how awkward and annoying it was to have one. Personally I’d recommend maybe getting an Apple Pencil for your iPad and a windows laptop (that’s what I have) to benefit from both :)
Hey , thank you for your message ! Is it Interior Architecture / Interior & Spatial Design you’re going to study ? If there is graphic elements in your course then iPad would be useful however for most softwares you’d need a heavier processing power so I’d go for a MacBook ! If you wanted to get the best machine for rendering ( this will probably be more useful in your final years ) I’d suggest getting an Hp laptop. They aren’t as ✨aesthetic✨ however their speed and processing power is just amazing ! ☺️hope this helps !! X
Even the background is so nice 💕
Great video sis 💕
DADDY FADUMS thank you so much lovely 💓😍

Can I be an interior designer if I’m bad at drawing?
I think so! :) Most things are done digitally but you'll receive drawing classes anyways.
Hey... I was thinking to buy a iPad for my course but now giving a second thought about it. What you should I go for iPad Pro or stick to MacBook
