    I enjoy everything this channel produces but I really love these lessons in "slow" Greek.

      totally agree. while interviews on the street are very authentic experience, this format on the other hand is much more enjoyable for non native speaker and easy to follow even in Greek. Most of the time i end up reading just English subtitles when they interview on the street.

    Got here randomly, I watched the whole video and as an italian I'm too impressed for how many common words between greek and italian I noticed!! As an example kanéla = cannella (cinnamon) and foùrno = forno (oven)

    Εγώ θεωρούσα ότι ο μουσακάς ήταν Ελληνικό φαγητό, αλλά διάβασα στο διαδίκτυο ότι υπάρχει μουσακάς στα Βαλκάνια, στις φτωχές της μέσης ανατολής και στην Τουρκία.

      Το φαγητό αυτό ήρθε στην Ελλάδα από τους Έλληνες της ανατολής (greece anatolia) (Έλληνες που ζούσαν στην Τουρκία κυρίως και ήρθαν στην Ελλάδα όταν τους έδιωξαν οι Τούρκοι)

      Η μπεσαμέλ από πάνω ήταν ιδέα του διάσημου Τσελεμεντέ! Κατά τα άλλα, το κοινό στοιχείο σε όλους τους μουσακάδες είναι η μελιτζάνα.

    But of course it is a Greek dish! The reason the Turks have it is because Mehmet II kept Konstantin XI's chefs on staff after the fall of the city. But always better with the Beshamel

      @@theygoastheycome90 Baklava (the origin name is KOPTOPLAKOS) was made by greeks ~500 AD... the first turks came to anatolia ~1050 AD, more than 500 years later... google for the recipe of baklava

    Ένα λάθος που κάνουμε. Μάλλον ξεκίνησε από τους φωστήρες της τηλεόρασης.
    Δεν λέμε "εάν κάποιος ή κάποια" αλλά μόνο "εάν κάποιος" που είναι αόριστο και περιλαμβάνει όλα τα γένη.
    Παρακάτω "όσοι και όσες έρθετε στην Ελλάδα".

      Ούτε σ' εμένα αρέσει η μελιτζάνα, αλλά δεν καταλαβαίνω και τόσο την γεύση της στον μουσακά εξαιτίας της μπεσαμέλ και του κιμά που υπερισχύουν σαν γεύσεις. Αν και πάλι καταλαβαίνεις τη γεύση της και ενοχλείσαι, μπορείς να δοκιμάσεις να μειώσεις την ποσότητα της κατα το μαγείρεμα.

      @@Issveinn No, I don't think so! It's slow compared to our normal episodes. If you need it slower, you can adjust the speed manually, too.
