If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
How I got here…
21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.
You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.
Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.
Never quit,
Alex

Come on man , I need more $100m money models. I'm still selling fruit and windshield cleaning on the highway
Love the idea of Skool. I do have one request. Can you make it so you can bookmark a community you are interested in? I see a number of communities I want to join and having a bookmark would be helpful. Thanks
This gentleman taught me to fall in love of business! thank you Mr Hormozi
I am going watch this video over and over again dissect it and apply it to my business
I've listened to both his books at least ten times.
I'm still living in a dumpster, but I think when $100m money models comes out I will be on top of the world again
@@oldschoolpanels what, that sounds like you didn't learn from these 10 times, another book isn't going to change that man
@@mzr9710 don't judge me, okay guy. I know you are Alex's sock puppet account, so rub it in all you want. Just give me the new book so I can level up!
@@oldschoolpanels deadass man to man youre just not putting in enough work or youre not good enough YET. KEEP PUSHING
It's not books that will make you better at first, it's practice. Read these books when you need to. @@oldschoolpanels
Bro! Diddy came out of nowhere haha! Another great banger of a video Alex. Gracias amigo!
Summary: ⚡
* Alex Hormozi helped a company increase revenue by improving webinar attendance and close rates.
* Webinar attendance increased by 33% by using email, SMS, behavior response, and voicemails.
* Close rates increased by 20% by improving the webinar intro and adding a takeaway.
* An upsell was also implemented.
* Focus on improving existing strategies rather than always seeking new ones.
Thank you
Thank you
Thanks A lot
You're welcome. There really is very little value in the video and it can be summed up so quickly. Not trying to hate because some of the other videos are valuable but this one was bloated into 30 minutes.
Maybe I missed it but the overhead cam is a solid add in
"We're talking Diddy Lube".
Win
😂😂😂😂
*Stares at me seriously*
“We’re talking diddy lube”😭
17:30 Diddy-lube type sales is diabolical 😂
More of this type of videos Alex. please
Alex has zero competition when it comes to business advice on RUclips
Patrick Bet David comes close. But you’re right. Actual tangible business advice, Mozi is prolly the best.
@@bjwkusgxjdks oh yeah, Patrick definitely repping the family name, especially providing a multifaceted perspective of life, history, religious and business
He's a very specific type of person. I think Mark Tilbury is also good. It's just that the highest level of money making and presentation/communication skills are both uncommon, and very uncommon to see together.
Devin Nash
alex is a scam
Couldn’t agree more with the congruence factor. A lot of the clients we work with tweak that one thing and it’s like opening a good gate 🚿
Not the Diddy joke 😭😂😂😂
Next time he will say Diddy party
Did he really just do that
I don’t get it
He went in
@@JoshPalmer21 when the feds busted into diddy's house, they found around 1,000 bottle's of baby oil and lube.
I love your videos man!!
Well, this is competent. The thing is (also am a $100M+ founder with 3 tech exits behind me lol), these KPIs differ dramatically across industries, so don’t forget to benchmark to temper your expectations. For example, a 10% conversion rate after a cybersecurity enterprise SaaS webinar is rather phenomenal, but would be very low for say, video editing software.

The "DIDDY LUBE" Absolutley Threw Me LOLLLLL
Not the diddy lube!!! My man wildin, but still so educational. Bravo sir
A ALEX HORMOZI AD ON A ALEX HORMOZI VID!! Love it🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video! Love the real tactical advice.
Best video this month I already watched it twice
10:03 Right after he said "you can say that". I just get an add where he (Alex) start with "when you’re gonna be 80 and on your deathbed". Which was jaw dropping ngl 😂.
Wait you got ads still? Gotta get those number up cuz. You need $100m money models when it comes out
Glad I found this guys channel. Anyone have any similar channel recommendations? Guys like this guy and Brandon Carter.
I genuinely believe that no one else provides as much value as Alex and so no one else is worth listening to. It depends what you're looking for though.
Hey bro , you have a beard just like my father , I love it , you look good on it
I wish he would do an actual business every show case is a online coaching business
Yes like a retail business
All business at highest level are the same
@@cheltondebeer9702bullshit
It's an online coaching biz almost always because they are the most profitable, as making them costs the least monetarily.
@@cheltondebeer9702exactly, business is business
I have been taking notes 🤓
The concept of "Get to the point ASAP" is a great tip I'm using for my videos now, but also communication in general 🤩🙏
In my experience, most people need a little more than that, even if some of us just want the cold point.
@billysandoval1118 Makes sense. Just get to the point ASAP, then provide more explanation 🙂🤝
Alex, would love to hear how you've applied this stuff to B2B enterprise sales motions.
“This isn’t with wigs and handcuffs” 😂😂 21:50
Alex got jokes lmao
He really wasn’t holding back in this video 😂😂
the new studio set looks really nice
People aren’t appreciating the fact that he may have “only” increased the run rate from 6m to 10m, it’s the profitability aspect, they were netting prob like 10% margins or less before, almost a 4 roas is now a 10m run rate off only 200k/m spend instead of like 375-400k which now allows for WAY more scalability which is insane
Diddy lube , handcuffs and wigs , damn i love these hahah , great value tho , amazing job as always

@on9francisyu 100% Agree
Great info
Fantastic stuff
Diddy lube was hilarious, wouldn’t expect that from Alex 💀
Thank you Alex !
Haha, He said “Diddy Lube.”😂😂😂
Quick question: How long do you typically work with a company to implement these kinds of changes? What timeframe should I plan for to build this?
What software do you recommend to use for sending out emails, texts, and videos to a lead that signedup for a webinar?
This is a good video.
We talking Diddy loop that killed me 😂
He knew exactly what he was doing with a diddy joke.
That man said Diddy Lube... PAUSE!!!
I’m so grateful for Alex Content. He helped Mister General Contractor 3x the business in one year.
Hey Alex, Do you ever use Sales Pages to close sales for any of your acquisition companies? or is it already an obsolete method to sell
“We’re talking diddy” loll
I'm a Trader and I love it. However, it seems like starting a business using Alex's principles is also possible but I feel like I'd need to focus.
Not sure. It's been a couple years where I've been thinking about what to do.
I love Trading and I like Business. I just cant seem to find the rhythm. Any advice guys?
Alex content getting better every time
we already went down this road
WE'RE TALKING DIDDY LUBE
First,Thanks Alot Hormozi you changed my life
His bar is so high that even if we only do a percentage of it, we are ahead.
Mindset matters!
How do you time 9 emails in 7 days (or less) until the webinar?
Would love to know the names of the portfolio companies. Especially since Alex says proof is important.
Life must be hard
The Math doesn't seem right. Someone can help me understand ?
Let's take one example :
If my CAC is $5763, and I ONLY improved my close rate from 14% to 35% (2.5x); my new CAC should be (5763/2.5 =) $2305.2 ?
Here, after all the improvement the CAC is "only" $2868.
What am I missing ?
How You would do in Europe? We have the GDPR and other laws. Did. You collect the consent from the prospects? I developed a Software Plattform to fix gdpr issues for Web Shops & Sites and only have Linkedin for marketing… so what would You recommand me Alex
8:35 Live, I know why it works. Because it is more authentic than saying you are live when its really a recording. Ive been on webinars who claim live but it seemed a pre-recorded video.
That one ☝🏽
But what were the exact messages, what you wrote in sms, what ypu wrote in emails, what actual changes you made, we also need that not just the outside skin and framework.
This video's so good I wish I could give it two likes!
How do u setup the automation. What tools ❤
I found the sales pitch for some weird make money on youtube/social media/dropshopping where they'd say it was live in 10-20 mins etc. However, it would just turn out to be a pre-recorded event and they'd pretend it was live. If you're going to be live say it but as soon as a company lies about it, I think what else are they lying about, I'm done.
Alex come on: “We talkin Diddy lube” 😂😂😂
Great promise like always ❤
That because you have a business to grow😅😅😅😢😢😢😢
Subbed because of lube, Diddy Lube. Good business advice too, I've heard.
HE SAID DIDDY LUBE IM DEAD
17:30 we talking diddy lope
it got me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Truly inspirational
🔥
Diddy lube, wtf! lol
I hate webinars that pretend to be live. It is 100% obvious.
its wierd to hear joke from alex I felt like he wanted to kill me with his ayes
Did he Diddy??? 😂😂😂
Thanks sirr!
Buckle up! Alex uploaded again.
I wrote down and copied every single word in this video, it took 3 hours (almost), Alex give me a pin as a reward please?
skool is hilarious. is it a joke?
I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market, but at the same time, I feel it's the best time to get started. I heard some guy speaking about making over a million dollars from a $300k capital, and I'm driven to ask what skillset and strategy can generate such profit?
You should avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. It's important to prioritize patience and have a long-term perspective. Most importantly, consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions. I think a lot of people minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, after a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She helped my reserve increase from $160k to $890k despite inflation.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search...
So you went from $6 million to $10 million. Got it
Still amazing if the ad spend was not obscene.
Yeah not impressive at all tbf
You do it then 😅😅😅
Loser mentality
Always a loser like you.
as long as we keep growing and keep trying it will never be the same we will make it one day🗿📈
Awsome!
🙌🏻
Sir please help
No Diddy, Pause.
Should I be role playing with wigs and hand cuffs to close more deals?
Slipped up with the Diddy lube comment 😅
brother is tired of doing these vids, lol.
17:33
Don't let my competitors see this Alex 🔥
lol no diddy
Watching this with my kid in the car and he starts repeating after Alex - "we're talking Diddy lube" 😮😂
Ew gross 🤮🤢
17:30 had me shook and jaw dropped
18:59
Rock hard erected closes! No flaccid closers in this house!
Alex is GOAT
damn...i noticed the ADHD overly edited videos are back. I have to assume they're testing something since they stopped doing those for a bit since there was a ton of positive comments about how the videos had gone back to the way they used to be. I miss the way the videos were 3-4 years ago. No editing, just talking to camera.
❤
Can you do a Video about Growing a Window cleaning Company für private customers?😇
Coddie Sanchez did some videos on small business like that. She is known for small business building and buying.
