My family loves ice skating and tubing, however snowboarding is the hardest sport on earth. On our first snow trip my family took a lesson from 9-12 in Colorado...we were to wore out to even try ....lol. Thanks for sharing...makes me want to get to listing. I miss vacationing with my family and living in the mountains! God bless your family and happy new year!

Wish there was footage of Delos ski lift dismount. I love seeing all that snow haven't seen snow since moving to Florida. Glad you guys had so much fun

Forget the Kardshians, now this is what I'd call reality TV. 10:58 That was me and my younger brother. 🤣 I you want a suggestion for a good family vacation for next year, you should try one of the National Parks, like the Grand Canyon or Sequoia National Parks.
We did a 25 day road trip down rt 66 one year and saw the grand canyon. Holy cow talk about majestic! One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. 😍
Rachel, What a nice trip you guys went on! Never been to Utah, I do not think that would be our destination since we are from a winter state a warmer climate would be our chose, if we chose it. LOL We love our home here in the Northeast and there is so much to do that we have staycations in the wintertime on school breaks! Drew you are so graceful falling like a pro! Your kids did well snowboarding!
I grew up in Salt Lake and got to go to the Homestead Crater for only $5 per person, and to the sledding hill for $8 per person. I know it’s not anywhere near that now! I also really enjoyed City Creek and the iconic fountain. Anyway, thanks for taking me down memory lane! Also, I sound snowboarding to be the most difficult sport I’d ever tried!!! Rock climbing, river rafting and mountaineering are so easy in comparison! Deli food and great job, and he sure would have enjoyed it more in classical Utah powder.
I lived in utah for many years. I am very familiar with Homestead resort at Midway where the crater is. Not far from Heber. Also not far from Park City. (I used to work at a posh hotel at Deer Valley as a chef). I know it’s to late to recommend checking out Stein Erickson Lodge.
My son works in Park City and he says the snow is quite sparse right now. Better snow for snowboarding is at Snowbird, a higher mountain, just a different canyon. It looks like you had a great time! Kids seem to have an easier time learning to snowboard. Try a snowshoe tour next time!
What college did your older son choose? You mentioned he will not be home for Christmas each year. I am sure he will find a way to do so because he will miss everyone!
