2:45 - 3:25 will always be one of my favorite scenes in the entire anime. You can just SEE PJ and Paula’s dynamic (the entire ‘friends when under regular identity but heavy one-sided love under different identity’ thing), and I’m honestly all here for it. What a cool and cute episode in general.
Pretty cool how they ended the episode on a realistic note. Instead of having Paula sideline PJ altogether for the sake of keeping the status quo in check, coyly hinting at something, or worse yet, totally writing off the possibility of them becoming a serious couple in favor of a joke, she outright says she'll keep going after him. Based writers, lol.
You know what after watching this episode PJ is totally listening to everything, not only that but you can see that is reaction is different before and after the date when he is at the club. Man id say the animators put a lot of effort to convey what PJ is thinking if you look carefully
