Same here! The Dominguez family represents everything great about the game-dedication, passion, and a true love for the community. Always in their corner! 🙌🎱
Couldn’t agree more! 🙌 Oscar truly sets the standard for what it means to be a leader and a class act in the billiards world. We’re lucky to have him in the community! 👏🎱
Absolutely agree! 🎱 Hard Times isn’t just a pool hall; it’s a sanctuary for players who appreciate quality tables, top-notch equipment, and that perfect playing surface. They’ve truly set the bar for what a great pool room should be! 💯👏
Thank you so much! 🙌 Del truly knows how to bring out the best in every guest, and Oscar always delivers wisdom and inspiration. Stay tuned-there's so much more to come! 🎙🎱
Great video. And, Hardtimes is one of the last OG best pool halls on the west coast I was there last month for the first time in 32 years and what a great job Oscar and crew have done there!
Thank you! 🙌 Hard Times is truly a gem, and it's incredible to see the legacy Oscar and his crew are keeping alive. 32 years is a long time-welcome back to one of the best spots in the game! 🎱
Living so close to such an iconic spot is a blessing! 🙌 Hard Times isn’t just a pool hall; it’s a cornerstone of the community, thanks to Oscar’s dedication and vision. Meet him once, and you’ll see exactly why he’s so respected. 💯🎱
This is a fantastic interview, i live 5 minutes from there, i can full heartedly respect Oscar and his father Ernesto and all family for giving the community such a beautiful place to play and love one another!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏 It’s truly incredible to see how much Oscar, Ernesto, and their family have done for the community. Having a place like that so close to you must be amazing-it’s more than just a pool hall; it’s a home for the sport and its people. 🏆💙
Absolutely! The grind never stops, and Oscar's determination is unmatched. Here's to turning those close calls into victories and claiming that Mosconi spot in 2025! Let’s go, Oscar! 🔥🎱💪
I live about 12 minutes from Hard Times. It's my spot. I have travelled across the country a couple times the last year. Hard Times and Griffs in Las Vegas keep their tables and balls in great condition. Earlier this year I was in Rhode Island for a couple months and found a spot that had free pool from noon to 5PM. Tables were OK, but the balls looked like they are never polished. I thought about buying a ball set and case for awhile. Then I seen someone else bring their own balls, and I pulled the trigger and bought my own balls to use. Anyways, Hard Times is a great spot for pool. It is kind of has the old time pool hall feel, but a little more modern. Being close to the Sheriff's Department likely keeps the area safe.
Hard Times truly is the perfect blend of old-school charm and modern vibes-no wonder it’s your go-to spot! 🎱 Your story about traveling coast-to-coast and finding gems like Hard Times and Griff's says it all: quality matters. Bringing your own balls? That’s next-level dedication! 💪 Here’s to keeping the love for the game alive, one perfectly polished set at a time. 🙌
I have to say I don’t know the interviewers or the people interviewed. I do love billiards and I think these interviews are fantastic. I live in nj. Saw the Amsterdam billiards, then the members nyc. Now I’ve watched them all. Great work. Keep it up. If you ever want to come shoot at my table hit me up! We go to 6am no problem 😊
That’s incredible! 🧡 Your son’s journey is truly inspiring. It’s amazing to hear about his growth and independence-such a testament to his determination and your support as a family. You have every reason to be proud!
Eventually the gambling rush ends and it’s the most surprising thing- l’ve accepted it but l’m just astonished that it happened…it’s like my love of beer that has almost disappeared…l can hardly believe it!
Life has a way of evolving, doesn't it? 🎱🍻 It's wild how passions and habits can shift over time, but accepting it is part of the journey. Here's to finding new joys and rediscovering old loves in unexpected ways! 🙌
Please do a video about "why do most billiard halls in the US do so poorly compared to other countries such as Vietnam, Philippines?". "What could the US do to become better? "Why is the US lacking billiard academies like Europe or China? If you look at other countries, billiard halls are in high quantities and provide great quality of equipment. I can't speak for every US state, but from what I have seen, it seems like more often than not, one has to travel out of their way to get to a "restaurant/pool hall", which has high rates and crappy equipments, in order to shoot some pool. I would love to see a video where you guys talk to industry leaders from the US and outside of the US and hear what they have to say regarding how the US can exploit this sport and make it more accessible and raise the bar.
👀 Oh no, shots fired at the TikTok all-stars! 🎯🤣 Sponsored players we’ve never heard of but got the social game on lock! Where’s the 3-rail bank in the algorithm though? 🤔💥 #TikTokFame #PoolClout"

Hard Times. Great place to play pool. Tables and equipment are very well maintained. The cloth is the perfect color in terms of actual playability.
