I love that you acknowledged that the Camino provided GOOD companionship! Nancy and I ran away a weekend ago to a Bavarian village here in Washington state (Leavenworth) and while there we walked a 4.2 mile (NOT rounding up!) trail that looped around a gorgeous gorge--with fantastic views of rocks and rapids. It was a little longer than Nancy is used to, but she managed it well. Buen Camino!
