Hey Stefan, schönes Video👍 Ist schon krass wieviel Video- Fotomaterial man so zusammen bekommt. War sehr kurzweilig. Schöner Ausflug vom Sofa aus. Alles Gute und Grüße von der Elbe MD an die Elbe DD 😆
Thank you, really enjoyed this. There is so many places like this I would love to visit my self. I'm taking notes and updating my map every year. There is just not enough time 🤣🙈 Great adventure and a lot of nice footage. Cheers from Norway 🇳🇴
Mr. TSHansen, Somewhere around 11 juli i am heading to Turkey. Starting in the Netherlands. We could do a large portion of the trip together. I speak very good Dutch so language should not be a problem.🤭
Danke! Weiter so!
Très belle compilation de votre voyage de 4 mois. Je dois reconnaître que vous avez passé à des endroits que je n'ai vraiment l'habileté à traverser. Merci de votre partage.
Hey guys, I knew the TET ran from Poland away down to Portugal but never knew of the Eastern route. Thanks so much for the Education. Maybe one day you can do the UK TET, from Scotland to Lands End. Have you sent the story off to Adventuer Bike Riders mag here in the UK? I recon they would be interested. Be safe be lucky be well an be kind, everyone Thanks for sharing guys Paul 12.06 gmt Uk cheers
Thank you, liked it very much, this country has so much variaty in landscapes and culture and of course very kind people! Only a bit high gas prices ;)
Excellent videography and photography and use of local music. Lots of talent, on and off the bike! Would have loved a little more details about the trip. Which tires did you use on the TET portions? Have you got the standard suspension on your T7?
Thank you for your kind words. But more details would also mean a very long video or a series, didnt had that passion for editing ;) and there is a risk that it get to boring :D 8000km on Mitas E07+, 2000km Anakee Wild, 9000km on Heidi K60, always TKC80 on the front. E07+ Bosnia TET, Anakee Albania TET. 85Nm Spring in the back, 6.3Nm Springs in the front, rest stock. hope that helps:)
Bloody !! 😬😬 You have done allmost the same trip that from 11 juli i am doing. 😵💫😵💫 Really thank you for your video. Much to learn for me.💪💪 - You only used your phone for nav ? - Is the hot weather duable ? - Much change in temps ? - How safe is softluggage ? I'm a bit afraid for injuries with alu cases. It would save me a lot of money. Still need to buy Kriega OS 32 and OS 22. - Is wildcamping possible ? - Did you take and needed extra fuell ? - Was getting to Instanbull to do with one set of tires ? - For years i am using Bridgestone AX41 tires on my former 1190R. Wich tires you used in Turkey ? - Are there good and enough motorcycle shops present in Turkey ? - Paying for everything. Cash ? Creditcard ? - Did you buy food or went to restaurants mainly ? - I saw that you had a spare tire with you. Why ? - How was the cellservice in the backcountry ? - Why did you needed 4 months ? Did you take long brakes in between ? - How much water did you carry ? - Will it be possible in Turkey to filter water with a very good waterfilter ? Or did you only experienced long stretches of drought ? I have so many questions. I have to restrain myself. Sorry for that.🙈 Although i hate it. The first 1500 km'ters i will take highways. Wished we could have ride together. Really the best video i have seen in a long time. Greetings from the Netherlands, 💪🤝🤝
Thnk you my friend :) Sorry for replying so late but will do now my best: You only used your phone for nav ? Yes, its to much hussle with more devices for me :) - Is the hot weather duable ? Yes, its mostly dry heat, so when you are moving its okay. On the persian gulf it was very humid, this was really not nice... - Much change in temps ? Still need to buy Kriega OS 32 and OS 22. Ja its always a bit of fear with it... Simply dont let your bike with luggage out of view, when you go for groceries, park the bike that you can see it from the market. - Is wildcamping possible ? I did 50% of wildcamping :) so yes it is - Did you take and needed extra fuell ? No, there is really enough fuelstations everywhere. - Was getting to Instanbull to do with one set of tires ? Depends ofcourse which tires. - For years i am using Bridgestone AX41 tires on my former 1190R. Wich tires you used in Turkey ? I started with E07+, for Albania TET then Anakee wilds (lasted 2.500km :(), in greece i put on Heidi K60 and finished the trip with it - Are there good and enough motorcycle shops present in Turkey ? I would say yes, service (oilchange) getting cheaper the more south east you go, tires getting mote expensive in this direction. use IOverlander, google and mouth to mouth with other travellers to find shops - Paying for everything. Both :) i like to cook at the tent but it also gets really cheap and tasty towards turkey :D - I saw that you had a spare tire with you. Why ? I brought me the anakee wilds because i started with halfworn E07+ and wanted to have good grip for mainly Albanian TET - How was the cellservice in the backcountry ? Very good, average better then in Germany :) - Why did you needed 4 months ? Did you take long brakes in between ? Because i had 4 month :) and didnt want to ride the hole time and rush through it, wanted to get a bit in touch with people, culture and the landscape. Also met other long travelers. Sometime you really needed holiday from the holiday ;), its getting a bit exhausting going offroad and camp and carrying for everything than i took also some days at the beach or so. - How much water did you carry ? i mostly had 4x1,5l bottles for the night for cooking, washing drinking. Over the day i filled mostly up at wells - Will it be possible in Turkey to filter water with a very good waterfilter ? Or did you only experienced long stretches of drought ? I never filtered water but got maybe 70% of all my water from wells/springs, never had a real problem with the stomach. There are enough springs on the way. I always trusted them when they are in the mountains, if not in the mountains then look what the locals do.
