- Calf mooing on a cold winter day 22nd of January 2018. Temperature was around -20C. Highland Cattle are a Scottish cattle breed. They are adapted to the cold weather and stay outside throughout the year. We have been raising these fluffy cows since 2007 on our farm in Finland. It is said in the description, -20C. I would have quessed a bit warmer, but it is not precise method.
