Taylor Klock Korzemba is talking about not being able to reach the potential they once showed. Now I do see why people are questioning why he said "fell off" because they really didn't.
Yeah a lot of people are commenting that he's having a good year this season. Thats not really the point, the point is that he's never been an all star and he definitely had the potential to become one
Mike Korzemba very true Mike I commented that before watching the video because I saw the thumbnail but the way you explain him and Eric Gordon was very clear and I see what you going for. The moral of the story is a lot of young players come into the nba with a lot of hype and potential and some fulfill the hype, some crumble and others go on to have good long careers but never reach that star level they could have. Great video again Mike keep up the good work also how’s the mustache
Mike Korzemba I watch him at his college year in Memphis and thought the same as you regarding Tyreke Evans being a point guard. He's never been a great outside shooter but his best skill is slashing to the paint and shooting or passing it off to the open man.
Mike Korzemba Maybe you should've made the title 5 players who didn't reach their potential instead of 5 players who completely fell off... The title is misleading and a lil click baity imo
The disrespect to Tyreke Evans and Eric Gordon is crazy. These two fellas ball out and they both are still fairly young and have maintained their health here in their careers.
They just started to ball out again lol and they did not maintain their health for a while at all that’s why at some point they did fall off, shoot during those NO years I forgot they played basketball for a while because none of them could stay healthy. Besides AD nobody could stay on the court and then they were dumb enough to give Jrue Holiday another contract
If anything guys like Evans (17.7 ppg, 49% fg this yr) & Gordon have had a resurgence... my choices would be guys like D-Rose, Beasley, Dajuan Wagner...
Carlos Villalvazo Puentes left the jazz and couldn't bounce back from those injuries. Remember the debate about him and CP3 being the best point guard in the NBA?
Tyreke Evans is balling this year. When he got moved out of the PG spot to the SF he struggled, then nobody ever moved him back. Glad the Grizzlies are letting him do his thing
Ryan Joyce Tyreke is still my favorite NBA player 😂 his rookie year and almost whole career in Sacramento was great never will I forget his half court shot or behind the backboard shot 😤
I worked at an airport and met Penny the week before his surgery. He was optimistic and pretty cool. He left me a 20 dollar tip on a 4 dollar tab. He could've been an all time great.
Say what you want but my man Tyreke Evans is balling this year off the bench in Memphis! Legit 6th Man candidate this season he's averaging 19 PPG so far.
graygutfreund I wish you guys drafted tyreke with the 3rd pick in 2009 draft because as a king fan kings killed his career he had a historical season with 20/5/5 while playing pg and after that he kept getting fuck ton injuries and change his natural position to sg and SF which they told him to get to more weight and made him slower and COULDT get to the rim as often like in his rookie year just wish if he coulda gone to the Memphis Grizzlies you coulda had a superstar and kings are known to fucking up players
Mike I love your videos but you should make some videos on the current season instead of more busts in the NBA. Your content is impeccable but you could talk about current season rookies, DPOY/MVP candidates, Drummond's FT% being fixed, Boston's success, Houston's potential to take down the Warriors, the Thunder's Big Three, etc. Keep it up man!
My theory is many of the high picks get drafted to scrub teams who expect them to deliver instant impact and never polish their game so if their strength drop off their weaknesses were never addressed
SeanTh3Slayer81 Jim Boeheim makes players great and when he's not coaching some of those players anymore, they dont get coached as good and become "busts". I live in Syracuse and I hope there are no more major Syracuse busts.
Honestly, some young talent seems to die when they get traded, like Dion waiters, tyreke Evans, MCW, I know some young talent are doing better on other teams like demarcus cousins, Paul George, etc, but like, you for nerlens Noel, jahlil okafor who used to be big coming out of college and now pretty much not known, it's sad too see superstar potential just die from changing teams
Idk dude, the Sixers kinda killed Nerlens and Jahlil all by themselves. Did you not see how they wasted their time and talent? MCW is actually just trash though and they traded him for a reason. I don't think anyone can classify Paul George and Demarcus Cousins as young talent. They're both moving towards their late 20s and have been in the league for like 8 years. Dion has seen a bit of a resurgance in Miami and Tyreke obviously is playing much better (Pelicans really mishandled him honestly)
Sam Knight dude !!! I remember that , he did it against curry I think, they were acting like Brandon Jennings was supposed to be one of the best pgs for the future
As a Bucks fan, we were so excited back then too. But bro was super cocky and a straight up bust afterwards. Add Andrew Bogut to that list to in my opinion.
Lil B Quiet u not kidding about the future shit, the man even had a high top fade before that shit came back in style! I was wondering if that shit was ever gonna come back hahah I thought he was the next big thing, has in would still be around. But it was curry, Westbrook
Sam Knight Ya he should take out Eric Gordon who is a key player on one of the best teams in the league and put in Brandon Jennings. Jennings and Tyreke Evans both looked like future superstars their rookie years.
So you are saying that Tyreke Evans, who averages 18.5 points per game, off of the bench I might add, is below average!!!!!???? Yeah he is totally below average😒😑.
For anyone still here who is wondering, the 2018 Lakers pick from the MCW to the Bucks trade turned in to Mikal Bridges, who was then immediately traded to the Suns for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 first round pick. Looks like in the end the only winners were the Suns who got a decent upgrade from their pick and Bridges who gets to play with Ayton and Booker on a developing team
Nice list. I am very happy to see that Tyreke Evans is doing well in Memphis. I was always very sad about what happened to him. It's interesting that you picked up on the position change in his sophomore year. I had no idea that's what it was.
Notice a trend with these players, they were all drafted to really shitty teams which means they never won a lot and that can mess with a guys confidence
I a different world Stephen Curry was picked my the Timberwolves and Johnny Flynn became the 2 time MVP and the Timberwolves regret picking Stephen Curry over Flynn

Johnny Flynn played in the Australian league a few seasons after the played in the NBA. It was actually huge that he played in the aussie league but he's still a bust
Something about Reality YayaJo3Y How was he Ty Lawson before Ty Lawson? He's a year or two younger then Ty Lawson and they were both drafted by the Twolves in '09
Michael Carter-Williams having that stat line against a good team shows he was not a bust, just no one believed in him, it doesn’t matter if he was a star on a bad team, but to lead that horrible team to a amazing win with amazing stats is insane. I could see complaining about Evans or Gordon being on this list, but MCW? He's ass and teams are finally realizing it. There's a reason he only plays 17 minutes a game in his 6th season, when he averaged over 30 minutes a game in everyone of his first 4 seasons. He's not even a backup anymore, he's 3rd string.

I'm actually fine with them drafting Derrick Rose. I'm not fine with the Heat drafting Michael Beasley or the (whichever team it was) drafting O.J. Mayo.
Tyreke is killing it for me in Fantasy this year! I stumbled on him because I did see him as a bust but...he’s a PG, SG, SF at 18.5 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 2 3PM, 1 SPG; Is it a comeback or should I sell high?
Basically any player who was described as "the next Larry Bird": Danny Ferry ,Tom Gugliotta, Christian Laettner, Adam Morrison, Keith Van Horn, Wally Szczerbiak, Mike Dunleavy, Andrei Kirilenko, Gordon Hayward.
Injuries, playing the wrong position, missing the playoffs concistently & a lack of ego all played a roll in Tyreke's downfall. He's ballin' out this year tho.
I think players with injuries should not really count as a bust. So Greg oden and Emeka should not really be certified as real busts. As they are very productive and useful when they are on the court
To me Mike, it’s pretty clear you have not watched the kings when we had Tyreke. I watched about 70-75 games per year. Regardless of Tyreke playing SG, he was incredible ball dominant. His Strength was Quickness and getting to the rim. After multiple knee and ankle injuries he lost what made him special. He had the opportunities regardless of what position to score, he started settling for jumpers instead of getting to the basket. So yeah don’t talk If you don’t watch. We played position-less basketball
He’s baby Jason Kidd. He’ll become good, just not the star he was hyped to be. He has weapons to pass to in Jrue, BI, Zion, Favors, and JJ Redick. A perennial 13-16 PPG, 9 APG player is what he’s destined for. And that’s a good turnout.
This won't matter now, but when I heard that Tyreke Evans' first year he played point guard, I immediately remembered the last two games he played for the pacers, which was against the Clippers and the warriors, he played some point guard because Darren Collison was hurt. In the game against the Clippers, he had 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. In the next game, he had 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists
Kings fan here. And you are right on the money with Tyreke. I, along with a lot of my fellow Kings fans are still baffled by how we used Evans after his amazing 1st year as a PG. He's definitely not below average but had we used him the right way, I bet he could be a solid Deron Williams at his prime type player in the league right now.
Anthony Bennett the type of guy to look up and down when crossing the road.
Sounds like a smart thing to do...

Eric Gordon and tyreke are killing it this season

the brief period where gordon was starting while CP was injured was wild, dude was averaging like over 25 points a game
Taylor Klock Korzemba is talking about not being able to reach the potential they once showed. Now I do see why people are questioning why he said "fell off" because they really didn't.
Irony Maybe he should change the title of the video then because its misleading.
Tyreke is still balling in the league but yeah injuries and bad organizations ruined his and Eric Gordon’s potential
Yeah a lot of people are commenting that he's having a good year this season. Thats not really the point, the point is that he's never been an all star and he definitely had the potential to become one

If anything guys like Evans (17.7 ppg, 49% fg this yr) & Gordon have had a resurgence... my choices would be guys like D-Rose, Beasley, Dajuan Wagner...
I can't see knocking guys averaging around 18 & 20 points per game, respectively... in the NBA during the middle stages of their career.
Deron Williams was on his way to the HOF what happened
Carlos Villalvazo Puentes left the jazz and couldn't bounce back from those injuries. Remember the debate about him and CP3 being the best point guard in the NBA?
Carlos Villalvazo Puentes he got out of Jerry Sloan’s system
injuries, his first 3 years on the Nets were all all-star level years, but his ankles totally fell apart
Ankle injury that he didn’t allow to heal
Injuries hurt him. The nets still played him while he was injured and well... it ruined his career.
Tyreke Evans is balling this year. When he got moved out of the PG spot to the SF he struggled, then nobody ever moved him back. Glad the Grizzlies are letting him do his thing
Tyreke Evans is having a great year off the bench
SplashShxdow3DGaming true but I was just saying this year he is playing great so he may be turning his career back around

Tyler McGee he did made videos about penny tmac and grant hill in his previous video watch the forgotten star

Helll nawww. I’d take d rose any day.
I'm actually fine with them drafting Derrick Rose. I'm not fine with the Heat drafting Michael Beasley or the (whichever team it was) drafting O.J. Mayo.
Is there a full video on Tyreke?
Mike Korz! haven't seen you in my feed for a while but damn it's good to see you again. peace!
make a what if darko milicich went 1st overall
That literally had no chance of happening. Lebron was a hometown kid and the most hyped players coming out of high school ever.
But what if?
Even after MCW win ROY, no one who had proper basketball knowledge would even think he would be an all star.
That Guy Luis agreed bro💯 btw bro I’d appreciate it GREATLY if you could Support This NBA Page 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Why my t-wolves always drafting bust 😭
Tyreke is killing it for me in Fantasy this year! I stumbled on him because I did see him as a bust but...he’s a PG, SG, SF at 18.5 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 2 3PM, 1 SPG; Is it a comeback or should I sell high?
Sell high
Basically any player who was described as "the next Larry Bird": Danny Ferry ,Tom Gugliotta, Christian Laettner, Adam Morrison, Keith Van Horn, Wally Szczerbiak, Mike Dunleavy, Andrei Kirilenko, Gordon Hayward.
Agree with a lot of folks here... Tyreke and Gordon are ballin this year. But i do understand why you brought those 2 up. Nice vid Mike 👍🏻
I guess the Clippers bad luck rubbed off on Eric Gordon😂😂
What happened to Derrick Rose's knees?

Tyreke and Gordon are ballin this year..... especially tyreke
great topic. i've wondered the same about 3 of these players.
Injuries, playing the wrong position, missing the playoffs concistently & a lack of ego all played a roll in Tyreke's downfall. He's ballin' out this year tho.
Where is Monta Ellis??
Di Ste Badibilderi real talk
Devin Harris too
What are you talking about? Monta Ellis was pretty good most of his career. Monta Ellis was probably the best player ever who never make All Star.
Pick N Roll monta was so inefficient and played on bad teams often in garbage time
Tyreke evans is balling
Tyreke Evans isn't doing anything now #banned
xdot yep for 2 years
I think players with injuries should not really count as a bust. So Greg oden and Emeka should not really be certified as real busts. As they are very productive and useful when they are on the court
The beginning of the video is just a "bash Syracuse point guards" section 😂😂😂
To me Mike, it’s pretty clear you have not watched the kings when we had Tyreke. I watched about 70-75 games per year. Regardless of Tyreke playing SG, he was incredible ball dominant. His Strength was Quickness and getting to the rim. After multiple knee and ankle injuries he lost what made him special. He had the opportunities regardless of what position to score, he started settling for jumpers instead of getting to the basket. So yeah don’t talk If you don’t watch. We played position-less basketball
KingsFan2017 Tyreke wasn’t labeled a pg or a SG. He was labeled a basketball player
Daniel D okay its the kings fault that tyreke underperformed after his injuries. Idiot
Arvin Borkar they didn’t make him gain weight. He gained weight after the injury
Realized that mike just has something against the kings idk why
Harry Giles is the G.O.A.T yeah I kinda realized the same thing. I’m used to it though, Sacramento on the rise up!
You already did this plz just make a what if lebron was never in the nba the mvps, playoffs, championships, finales, and draft picks plz mike plz
NoJnwalbutImawzrd TkmyshothpIdntmisit just say “what if Lebron James didn’t exist” but yes I️ agree
Tyreke Evans is going off rn for the Grizz
your getting better, good banter, i like your commentary more GOOD WORK BRO
Damn I remember Flynn.. I always used him off the bench on 2k lol
Oj Mayo tho
jd brookks fr he’s trippin bro, btw bro I’d appreciate it GREATLY if you could Support This NBA Page 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Tyreke is back
CAN YOU MAKE VIDEO ABOUT LUKA DONCIC
Gal Vesel He did though, didn’t he?
That comment was written before that vid
Great video bro
Tyreke Evans was never the same after DRose crossed him over.
Cant wait to see lonzo ball on one of these.
Julio Sierra same
He’s baby Jason Kidd. He’ll become good, just not the star he was hyped to be.
He has weapons to pass to in Jrue, BI, Zion, Favors, and JJ Redick.
A perennial 13-16 PPG, 9 APG player is what he’s destined for. And that’s a good turnout.
Would guys say if a team actually give MCW trust and he became more confident in himself then he should come back like he did in the 76ers
Mel Robert Tomas 💯💯💯agreed btw bro I’d appreciate it GREATLY if you could Support This NBA Page 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Omg
Mel Robert Tomas MCW is just inefficient as hell. He got to play as much as he wanted with philly so that’s why he had “good stats”
Trust me in Philly we’re glad he’s gone and Simmons is are PG
Here before 100 million views
Old school Productions so is everyone else
its not fair to call someone like greg oden or johnny flynn a bust, when before injuries, they were very good.
I’m a Syracuse fan and that sucks for me to see Michal carter Williams to pretty much end his career like that
"What If Grant Hill stayed healthy."
Tyreke Evans in the thumbnail?!?!?! What?!?! He’s a star this year!! Are u sleep Korzemba
Nemo_123o This video was made in November of 2017, kid.
Lol every Okafor is a bust XD
Jhalil is making a comeback
Yup Emeka is a bust.
Do a vid from worst to best... love r vids keep it up
Notification squad
Do you watch basketball? Cus Tyreek Evans and Eric Gordon are playing great right now
What about ty Lawson
Well Ty Lawson has been arrested for drugs so yea...
