I am 73 yrs. old...as a lifelong bodyman/hotrodder, I am totally appreciative of the amount of work that truck took to complete, and the level of detail is incredible.
You have accomplished something no one else has even thought of, and done it first class all the way.
Best of Show! ...Period!
Just so!😁
Now that guy's a real genius. Probably no plans. All kept in his head. He's got a great lady behind him. You cannot create amazing awesome vehicles like this if the wife isn't on board.......What a dream!.....14 years of creating, learning and dedication. Thank you sir. You and your lovely wife are an inspiration to all of us vehicle enthusiasts.......God blessed both of you..........All you have to do now is enjoy the super creation.
Ex trucker and Cabover lover, this thing is sweet! Fabrication is really professional looking, and looks like it just rolled off the assembly line, a very high compliment!
Nice to see a lady proud of her husband.
It really is i love it❤
Its not just the conversion, its how clean an pristine it is. The paintwork on the cab, chassis an engine is stunning!
Marvelous, stupendous, terrific. The build is in a class of it's own, and it says a great deal about the owner/craftsman, his values, and that beautiful lady he shares his life with.
What you've done is remarkable!
I've seen a lot of show cars and custom cars in my time but this was thinking way outside of the box.
You've created a real beauty here, definitely a head turning vehicle.
Thanks for posting.
Good morning, I'm not a van guy, but this is a real nice build!! They mention re-works, that's probably a understatement!!! I can't imagine how many times he probably wanted to quit!!! God Bless!!!
That is not a car
Is piece of ART
Extraordinário work
I loved
Awesome Awesome Awesome !!!!! 14 Years. !!!
Outstanding !!
dande souto Yes yes yes I'm going to have to agree with you on that. This magnificent piece of workmanship is totally amazing. It should definitely be a trophy taker at any show!
yes, the van is in the same colors as my room
Man that's an awesome build you got an awesome wife for supporting you you got it made man
real nice work, nice to see someone who's done it themselves - most just sign checks then wax the car - the door sounded good closing!
I owned a 1966 Econoline Pick-up and the doors didn't sound like that from the factory! But I did have it for 17 years.
Retired bodyman and was into the old vans as I grew up. Fixed up and sold many back in the hippie days. I lived in my 66 Dodge van when I moved to Cali in 74' Just a bad ass build Bravo!
What a outstanding build!! Tons of engineering, creativity and workmanship. Well done Sir.
I saw this van a few years ago in a parking lot of a Wawa. The owners were very nice and let me check it over and take some pictures. This van is a work of art.
His WIFE is actually proud of him! This guy won out twice, first with that wonderful understanding woman then with that beautiful van/truck.
Yea i agree.... He's very lucky to a wife so supportive.
Cool van!
I'm just finding out today that my soon to be Wife wants to fuel my passion for classics as well. I was blown away and at a lost for words. That rarely happen to me. Strong woman behind every strong man...
I'd say he Married well.
Fine build, I always liked the forward control concept. With the dual axel would make a fine welding rig. Thanks for sharing.
Not sure what's more incredible the car or his wife. Great couple.
top job. The ease of working on the engine and ancillaries is a mechanics' dream, shame car firms didn't think about servicing and maintenance like this guy did.
An engineering masterpiece, well played, not to mention you have very serious skills, to stay focused on a project for that amount of time and to have it turn out to be this artistic work of art! WoW!
My dad had a 1967 ford Econoline van. He cut the top off and turned it into a camper. We had almost my whole childhood. Good job! Brings back a lot of memories
You folks did one hell of a job!
I used to drive a 60s Ford van. I promise you that yours is way more cool.
Nice job!
I used to sit on the metal engine cover that was between the seats in the stock version of a 67 Econoline Van.
You have made a really cool ride and have taken it to a whole new level. I like it!
we used to call sitting in the middle of the front Bitch, because it was, but the doghouse in one friend's van was far preferable to in another's pinto. you had to sit on the hand brake lever... now that's a bitch. We used to get seven people in that darn pinto. three in front three in back and one on the package tray in the back window. No we didn't go far that way, just from one place to another in a small town, or we'd drag the gut that way. More often than not though once we got on main, we preferred to park it and get out of the car.
You should have tried the upholstered seat, much more comfortable.
That is a work of art .... unbelievable.....be proud of yourself sir......looks like a SEMA show truck........and the paint body work is on another level........
Cool van! I would love to see the power divider setup between the 2 rear axles. A lot of time and thought went into this build for sure. Good job Dale and Judy!
Doesn't need it, it's for show, a truck genuinely needs it for traction
Dale and Judy I've been building a cabriolet for years e350 van truck with yes a 855 Cummins 13 speed.....how do I get ahold of you,,,,need to chat with you...
@@bonkeydollocks1879 he said there is a drive shaft between the 2 axles. I'm interested to know how he got 2 love axles back there too
lol its a joke but your lookin in the wrong place for dale and judy there craig.
Absolutely awesome, hands down my favourite by a country mile. And 14 years? And you still got the same wife? Wow!!!!!
Wow! I love the old Econolines when they’re done right but you took this one to a whole nother level
Guys like you amaze me , you definitely have some mad skills . Absolutely gorgeous
Why have I never seen any of these beautiful Vehicles you showcase, driving around Connecticut?? I'm on the roads every day, hell I even build vehicles as well, yet I have never seen these around? But I guess that's why we have this channel, to be able to see them. Thank you for sharing
If I could have pulled a 53 footer with that unit I never would have retired from trucking. Sweet ride!
That is absolutely amazing, though I wish we could have seen the interior and heard it run.
Sir I’ve driven truck for 51 years I had a van like that when I was a kid I love your truck I would say you also put the right name on the side echnomack that’s what I own today. Hats off to you. God Bless thanks for the video
At first I thought I wouldn't like it but it came out great! Congratulations on a professional job..thanks for sharing.
I'm a Chevy Guy that always gives Props to all that build beautiful handmade works of art and a dream that can be put on display.
What a talented guy! The truck is awesome to say the least.
Nice work! It’s people like you that make show others how to get things done.
Love that u used a Ford powerplant and a five speed. Good work sir. Awesome build.
Unbelievable. What a talent. A guy in our high school back in 72 had a six cylinder econoline that he was able to get a front wheel off the ground.
Very beautiful! I really like the green with the stripes. After all them years you have something to be very proud of! Great job!
i gotta say some of these old custom vans have some of the coolest build details ive seen on any custom car. big thumbs up!
That is so cool-never seen anything like it-great job
Awesome Job and great Looking Build thanks foir sharing
Serious build love it dude is incredibly skilled. Even though I'm a chevy man gotta give props.
I have a hard time understanding why they didn't show the interior at all
I know the time and love this guy must've put into this, major respect, and the satisfaction this brings him with ever look couldn't be bought. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Chevrolet always stole Ford designs
I was going to say the exact same thing! I'm a Chevy guy thru and thru, but I'm impressed.
I WANT YOU FOLKS TO KNOW THAT THIS BUILD YOU DID IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS...!! WOW...!! WOOOOW...!! I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND LOVE THAT YOU CONVERTED IT INTO A CAB OVER... THAT'S JUST COMPLETELY BAD ASS AND SO UNIQUE...!! I USED TO OWN A 1986 FREIGHTLINER CAB OVER... THAT HAD THE OL TRIED AND TRUE 3406 B CATERPILLAR ENGINE...!! YES SIR KEEP ON TRUCKIN...!!
P.S. GOT TO HEAR IT RUN... 👍🤠📿🇺🇸st
That is probably the coolest Ford I’ve ever seen 😳. The build and craftsmanship is first class!! Truly a one of a kind bad @ss ride! Well done sir!!👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Probably wasn’t always roses, but that’s a very supportive and actively engaged wife, cool to see.
Beautiful van sir, I have a 1974 shorty that I'm doing with my son's thanks for posting the video.
Really cool, he did it all himself and by the looks of it he did an outstanding job. While I was watching the video, I was thinking how cool that would be with a pickup bed.
Oh wow this is my all time favorite van/truck. What an amazing amount of work this has involved. Very nice.
Relocating the door handles is a nice touch. Usually people are lazy and just shave them. 👍👍
Really cool build. Have seen this around the Fairfield County are and also at the Friday night cruise in Monroe, CT on a few different occasions.
Is this van from Ct. Is that cruise at Bill's.
Detroit REALY could have used a few dozen copies of this mans brain. What a design genius. Love your paint scheme and the matching shaded lawn chairs. A trophy taker for sure, not to mention a head turner. I can see why your wife is so proud of you.go enjoy life in that thing now!
Stunning I could see a camper /trailer on the back of it
UNCLEDOUG HERE I OWNED A VAN SHOP BACK IN THE DAY / 1975 - 1988 WE BUILT SOME NICE VANS BUT YOURS TAKES THE CAKE !!! BEAUTIFUL !!! NICE JOB DAD !!!
That is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while. Thanx for making the video.
Thats a beautiful piece of work i hope you enjoy it for a long time
I love it ( being a retired truck driver)...TJ
Amazing dedication and build. Beautiful color.
EXCELLENT JOB, AS A RETIRED HEAVY HAUL DRIVER FOR OVER 30 YEARS, I'D LOVE TO HAVE A DAILY DRIVER LIKE THAT!!!
OMG!! Outstanding!!! Take that to the Truck Nationals at Carlisle Pa.!
For that matter any other Truckin' event. 14 years.... well worth it!!
That looks like something the designers at Hot Wheels would dream up! Ultra cool!
This is by far the best fabrication of any restoration I've seen on RUclips, coming from a veteran truck driver I'd make it an every day rider.
THAT IS A MASTERPIECE, WELL DONE
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
boa
14 year build and not a moment waisted. Beautiful job.
This is a very unique build. I feel I'd like to see a few things done differently. Would love to see a 5th wheel trailer built for this. But simply: this is impressive work.
You are a true craftsman. Your build is beautiful.Your vision for this build is amazing.
I wanted to see it moving great job in this van anyway!
Amazing build, and it's functional. So nice to see a finished product. Great job folks.
Great job, that's a work of art. Looks beautiful. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
I know a lot of people are saying the same thing but its so true that this is a piece of art. really really awesome build.
Beautiful work! Would have liked to seen it driven.
My uncle had one of those vans when I was growing up. I never liked it. Never saw one of those style vans that appealed to me until this one! Great build! Truly impressive.
This is a work of art, con grats to you mate, love it.
The craftsmanship in your BEAUTIFUL truck is absolutely incredible !!
Great job; that's a lot of work ! Time to build something new !
From one talented man to another. “You sir are one very talented man” This is absolutely an amazing build “Flawless” One advise though. Try incorporating a remote control system to raise and lower the cab and a remote control safety prop so you don’t have to fight with keeping the door open when raising/lowering. Hats off to your beautiful wife for taking great pleasure in speaking about your hearts project, she’s got your back. Looking forward to seeing many more builds man. God bless you!!
Absolutely Beautiful!
The imagination, inspiration, design, engineering, technology, materials, components and construction that went into making this spectacular custom creation were worth it!
The craftsmanship, attention to detail, fabrication and modifications combine beautifully.
The builder and his lovely, supportive wife have a truly unique, custom classic Ford, which the manufacturer would be proud of!
A woman that likes her husband's hobby..
That's something you don't every ... *decade* or so!
Man that is a work of art and very impressive i must say . Good job.
She knows were he is at Night....
@@pat36a Yes. Working on a car is distinctly better than hound-dogging, and he's not hound-dogging.
When I met my wife-to-be in college, I regularly worked late-nights and overnights on projects in the Engineering labs and she would often do the same with her artwork. We work together on car projects and murals now, and we both feel very fortunate that we can respect each other and continue pursuing our collective and individual passions~
There's no way to describe this truck, Except SIMPLY OUTSTANDING ! Great custom job, Thank you.
god, what a bloody nice job.
Reminds me of the Tonka trucks from the 70s, I'm fan of cabover trucks, this is cool
VANTASTIC ! 🏆
Cab -over the moon! 👍😎
That’s some serious craftsmanship, nice work!
Not a Ford fan but this one is cool as ....well you know!
Now that is super slick. Good job on everything
🤔Should have had him fire it up damn 🤦🏼♂️ maybe next time
Absolutely a piece of Rolling art , so very talented and dedicated to creating his dream .
Not to mention the beautiful execution of his dream, and one proud wife , for good reason.
Cheers 🥂 beautiful Art .
Unbelievably COOL …. makes my Econoline conversion van look like crap …. LOL
Impressive engineering ... whether by trial and error or not . A work of art cannot be rushed ,14 years is a long while but the resulting product is outstanding .
NICE JOB!!!!
Я ничего не понял, но тачка у вас огонь!🔥 👍
Very, very cool. Tandem axles, wow! Nice work.
nice customization glad it is all ford.
Great job.
Sure looks alot like the old Cab-Over
F- mod. Mack
drove my share of them.
& The Ford Vans.
Love the colours also
I'm not a ford guy but that thing is absolutely beautiful !!! I can't imagine all the hard work that went into building it !!
Шикарный 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That just about the slickest build I’ve ever seen. Execution is superlative. I get tired of the same thing over and over. I hope you both have many happy years together showing this truck off.
Would have been better with a diesel, but still very good work.
My brother you are very gifted my respect to you the reason I say this because you know how to take advantage of your knowledge you don't put your knowledge to waste like a lot of people do thank you God bless beautiful truck and God bless your family👍🇵🇷
I want to know how you put a driveshaft between two 8.8 rearends
us only one axel and tranfer movment by rollers betven the tires engade hwen needed god luck
I love to see the imagination of others, great job sir.
