I love this movie. It's just a genuine love story. No fake relationships, no player trying to score then miraclously falling in love after three dates, no over-the-top grand love gestures that would get you arrested in real life, no toxic traits that are framed in a romantic lens to make it "ok", it's just two people going through their lives trying to figure themselves out while falling for each other but still trying to work through their own stuff.

Watched this movie again over the weekend... it hits different now. This is a classic love story.
Loved that it captured successful people coming together. They both had nice careers, income. Each outing was beautiful and lit! i love the restaurant here it's beautiful!

Hi 👋🏾 What she said is, “Maybe I’m just a collection of wrap dresses and Kehinde Wiley prints.” My interpretation : She’s just a simple but well-put-together woman (wrap dresses are easy to wear but make you look well-dressed) who appreciates art/culture (Kehinde Wiley is an artist who’s well-known for his colorful Black art).
She could also be talking about how she only knows herself on a surface level. Yes, she knows what she likes, but doesn’t have a deeper knowledge of herself.

This movie was wack it represents struggle love in the end he left her to go to a job in another country he was willing to leave her to pursue his dreams he was not concern with her like that and her stupid pick me self ended up chasing him to go to another country to be with him when he already told u through his actions he was not feeling u like that but u still trying to have hope for a situation that’s not real it’s pathetic and desperate do better Hollywood cause if this is suppose to represent melinated love u really got it twisted this whole was about him being selfish there was no love there this movie is fake love garbage not impress
