I'm absolutely in love with this instrument! At 14 years old, I'm the youngest organist on record to have played the St. Louis Fox Theatre's organ. I. LOVE. IT.

It's great to see young people carrying on the great tradition of theater organ playing. Keep it up!!

I will never get tired of listening to this. Jack`s playout and playing in general is simply brilliant.

I'm so glad of this performance, and how everything the organ had to offer was utilized. I think that sometimes the St. Louis Fox Wurlitzer gets put in the dust because it isn't always in top shape or not as original (in one way or another even though from what I understand it has all the original pipework now) as the Detroit one.
It must be preserved and treasured as one of St. Louis' last great original theatre organs!

Those FOX SP's are beautiful instruments. Maybe someday, I'll get to play one of them.

FANTASTIC organ that is more clearly discernible in the St Louis Fox than at the Detroit....,....I love both instruments (all Wurlitzers!) but the Detroit is a little more soupy in its environment due to the cavernous acoustics.......perhaps the combination action wasn't quite up to snuff when recorded in 1993? Maybe that explains the breaks in registration.

The manual stop changes could be the combination action presets aren't operational. Or Jack didn't have time to set all of the presents to his desired registrations. Long Live the few Fox Wurlitzers!

Wurlitzers finest achievement was the fox specials! Theatre organs dont come any better than this?

don't you hate when at a Concert and PEOPLE ARE TALKING and ruin it for the people nearby??
    .
    I sure hate it!

Unfortunately I have to agree that far too much time was spent, and as distracting as it was, in selecting stops when I couldn't understand that pre-setting should have been done. I'm aware of the great reputation that Jack has earned but it was quite disappointing visually.
