    I love how much I can relate to this video. I've been working on a 1994 b2600 in Australia which is badged as a ford courier. Those plastic pieces behind the doors were such a pain in the ass.

      I live in New Zealand and have a 1993 Ford Courier 2.2L XLT Super Cab that I’m slowly doing up and it’s pretty easy to work on compared to most modern vehicles and mines sitting on 248,000k’s which is low for a 29 year old. How’s yours coming along do you still have it?

    • @johnnoagnew29
      @johnnoagnew29 2 года назад

      @@LoneWolf-sz8bo yeah I've still got it. I painted it blue a few years ago but that paint is now stuffed and needs redoing again. It's got 360 thousand k's on it so the motor is pretty tired, has a lot of rocker tick. The plan is to drop a V6 Commodore Ecotec in it, possibly with a supercharger in top.

    The bumpers and grille for 1986-89 trucks were dark grey (with light grey headlight bezels), not black. But nice transformation regardless.

    You did not “restore” the trim, you covered it in paint. Please label the video correctly. The results are excellent though.

    How do you remove the black trim on the side of the truck?? I loosened the nuts from the inside es loose but won't come out

    • @AbnormalGarage
      @AbnormalGarage  4 года назад +1

      Remove the 5 nuts on the back side of the trim, and then pull it off. The trim piece is on there pretty tight, so you might have to wiggle it around before it lets go.

    What did you use to sand everything?

    • @AbnormalGarage

      We used scotch brite pads to scuff everything up.

    How did u remove the wipers ?

    • @AbnormalGarage
      @AbnormalGarage  4 года назад

      There's a plastic cap on each wiper, pop that off and there will be a nut underneath it. Un-thread the nut and you should be able to pull the wipers off.
