I use weather beater horse blankets. My horses are strictly on field never in stalls. They hold up great and I have had one for a year now and the only thing wrong with it is it's a bit dirty. But no holes or ware and tare. I bought my horses from my local tractor supply. I think it was from 80-100 dollars.
