This...this series. Meant everything to me growing up. I'm South African, and my parents let me watch this time and time again to help me learn Afrikaans through the Afrikaans DUB. It became a staple of my childhood growing up. I have a copy of the dubbed series on VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray. When I heard how big it was overseas via the internet, I was ecstatic. Couldn't believe it originally came from Japan. I promise you, this is one of the animated cartoons that defined who I am today as a person. Can't imagine my life without the iconic Heidi.
I don't know why ppl complain about the arabic language !! First it was in the 80's second it's ok to do language u understand but for Arabs No!! We don't understand Japanese or any of this languages & they didn't do english version,,!! 3rd it's our childhood not ur's to complain U've got urs BRAVO SO WAT! I have watched Heidi in Arabic when I was little and it was dubbed pretty well. They showed everything to children without changing anything at all. I already knew back then that Heidi from Swiss and lived in the Alps, then she went to Frankfurt which is in Germany. So rest assured we do deliver everything as it is :)

未だに再放送のものを毎週録画して観ています。って言うか2度目ですけどね。
オープニングテーマがこんなにあるなんて初めて知りました。それよりも多くの国で放映されていたことの方にも驚きですけど。
自分はやはり聴きなれた日本のものが好きですね。何となくですが動画と曲及びテンポが合っていると思います(ま、当たり前っちゃ当たり前なんですけども)。
それにしても各国ごとで別(?)バージョン(?)の曲があるなんてのにも驚きですね。
兎に角、世界の各国で愛されたハイジ、原作は外国の方としか知りません。それでもその原作をより多くの人に楽しんで頂けるような作品を作ったのですから、凄いと言えば凄いことなんですね。
因みに自分が見始めたのが実写版の途中からでした。それが切っ掛けで漫画版を今でも観ています。

Just so you know, in Japanese version which is THE original version of Heidi's OP, the Japanese recording staff flied to Switzerland, having real female Yodel singers. So as for Yodel part, everything you hear is so authentic.
